Part 21

Next day both of them boarded the flight and landed in India. One of them exhausted while the other one eager to know the truth.

In RM:

It was early in the morning when Arnav and Khushi reached home. Everyone are sleeping. So they both silently went to their room and slept both of them exhausted.

When Khushi woke up from her sleep, she saw the time is 10' clock. She overslept because of tiredness. She looked for Arnav and found him talking over the phone at the poolside. He was ready in his three piece suit.

She got up and went into washroom for bath. When she came out, Arnav is no where to be seen. She went to downstairs. There he is at the breakfast table. Payal is serving him.

"Good morning Naniji" said Khushi to Nani who is sitting in the hall patting Laxmi's back.

"Good morning Bitiya. Seems like you are tired due to journey" said Nani.

"Haan Nani. But now I am feeling good" said Khushi.

"Ok Bitiya. Go and have breakfast" said Nani.

Khushi nodded her head and was going when Arnav came there.

"Nani. I am leaving for office" said Arnav.

'Chote. you came in the morning and now you are going for office. Why don't you take rest ??"asked Nani.

"Nani. I have an important meeting. " said Arnav and went from there.

Nani sighed seeing him. Khushi went to dining table for breakfast.

When she came into the hall after completing breakfast, Anjali and Mami too are present there.

"Khushiji. we are going for satsang in temple. Will you accompany us ??"asked Anjali.

Khushi thought" I have to meet Nitya."

So she said" No Di. Actually I am tired. Need some rest'

"Ok Khushiji. you take rest. So Nani only we three are going. Even Payal can't come" said Anjali.

"Ok Bitiya. Let's start" said Nani.

Soon in another fifteen minutes, Nani, Anjali and Mami left for mandir. Before leaving, Anjali informed Payal that Shyam is returning today from the trip and to see if he needs anything and went. Khushi tried to talk with Payal but she left to her room. She felt weird and went to her room.

After sometime, she got ready and went to Payal's room.

"Payal. I am going out with some work " said Khushi.

Payal just nodded her head.

"Won't you ask me where I am going ??'asked Khushi.

"I don't like to interfere in others business especially yours" said Payal and closed the door on Khushi's face. Khushi is flabbergasted by her behaviour. She couldn't figure out why Payal is behaving this way.

But putting all these thoughts aside, she started for Nitya's house hiring an auto. She remembered the address as she saw on Karvachauth day.

Within twenty minutes, she reached the house. She stood infront of the house. It is a two storyed building. She went through the gate and rang the bell.

A middle aged women opened the door.

"Whom do you want ??"asked the woman.

"woo... Nitya" said Khushi.

" Oh. You came to meet mam saab. But who are you ??" said the woman and allowed Khushi to enter.

"I am her friend. My name is Khushi" said Khushi.

"Ok. you sit here. I will go and call her" said the woman indicating the sofa.

Khushi smiled fadely and sat on the sofa. She is feeling nervous to meet Nitya. Don't know what she will say about her boy friend ?? Somehow she know what is going to come but still she want to hear from Nitya.

"Khushi" Nitya's voice came interrupting her thoughts. She looked up at Nitya who is coming form the stairs.

Nitya came down and hugged Khushi. Her belly bulged a more little than their meeting earlier.

"How are you ??'asked Nitya coming out of the hug.

"I am fine. How are you ?? and how is your health ??"asked Khushi.

" Very fine Khushi. The little one too is good." Said Nitya and called out Rani. The woman who opened the door came from the kitchen. Nitya asked her to bring coffee for Khushi to which she went from there nodding her head.

Both of them settled on the sofa.

"Now say How did you came to know I am here ?? That day I forgot to take your number and you mine number. Later only I realized" said nitya.

"yaa. Me too." Said Khushi.

"Did you meet the doctor ?? Is everything with your pregnancy ??'asked Khushi.

"Everything is ok. Doctor said no need to worry" said Nitya. Both of them talked about random things. Rani brought coffee for Khushi.

"Khushi. you still din't answer my question ?? How did you came to Know that I am here ?"asked Nitya.

"Actually I saw you on karvachauth day. I followed you. I saw you coming out of the car. I thought to come and meet you but I got a phone from home to return early" said Khushi.

Nitya remembering something said" haan yes yes. That day I went to hospital for checkup"

"I saw a man with you. Who is he ?? Is he your Boy friend ??"asked Khushi.

"No NO Khushi. He is not. He is my soo called Boy friend's elder brother" said Nitya sarcastically.

Khushi was now shocked and din't fail to notice the sarcasm in her tone.

" What is your Boy friend's name ??"asked Khushi stammering with her heart beating more louder than ususal..

"Dhruv Singh Raizada" said Nitya gritting her teeth. Khushi could have slumped down on to the floor if not for her strong hold on sofa. A lone tear escaped from Khushi's eyes but she wiped it off before Nitya could notice.

Then composing herself, Khushi asked" Where is he now ??"

"Dead. It is better that bastard died. Otherwise don't know how many girls life's would have spoiled.. I am a big fool to believe him. If he would have been alive then I would have killed him with my bare hands" said Nitya.

"How did you came to know about him ?? "asked Khushi composing herself.

"I heard one day Arnavji, I mean Dhruv's brother talking with his PA on phone. Arnavji is really nice person. When I approached him saying about me and Dhruv, he first din't believed. But when I showed him the proofs, he believed me. He kept me here and appointed a maid for me. He is looking after my each and every need. He even promised to take care of my baby. He said he will introduce me to his family after my delivery. I still can't believe that Dhruv and Arnavji are brothers ?? Both are opposite poles. Arnavji threatened Dhruv to mend his ways. Do you know what he did ?? He trapped the girl whom his Bhai loves and proposed her for marriage. She too accepted her proposal. He did all this only to hurt Arnavji.. I have never seen a disgusted person like him and I am feeling more disgust on myself for loving him" said Nitya.

Khushi is devastated to know the truth. Nitya's last lines that Dhruv proposed the girl whom his Bhai loved only to make his Bhai suffer are ringing in her ears.. Her head is spinning and it is too much for her to digest this truth

"He proposed me to make Arnavji suffer "thought Khushi.

She couldn't wait there for a minute and got up.

"Nitya. I will leave. If you need anything call me" said Khushi and rushed up from there leaving a piece of paper with her number.

"Khushi. What happened suddenly ?"asked Nitya confused.

But Khushi din't say anything and came out of the house almost running leaving a flabbergasted Nitya behind.

Khushi din't know how she managed to reach the house. she is feeling hard to compose herself. Somewhere she expected this to come but never knew he proposed her only to make Arnavji suffer. So he knows that Arnavji loved her and took the opportunity to make him suffer  and she like a fool fell in his trap. Fool is really small word. She is most dumbest person in this world.

While she is absent mindedly going to room, she heard her name from Payal's room. So she went near Payal's room. She peeped in and saw Payal, Shyam talking.

"Payal what are you talking ? Is it true ??"asked Shyam with disbelief.

"Haan Jijaji. It is true. I heard it with my own ears. Do you think I will lie ??"asked Payal.

"No No But how can Khushiji even blame Arnav without knowing the truth ??"said Shyam too angrily.

"Even I got angry on Khushi that day. I just wanted to go and slap her. How dare she even slap Arnavji and blame him ?? Even she break her fast before he breaks it. How mean girl ?? I just hate her. I din't even wanted to see her face" said Payal gritting his teeth.

Khushi who is listening to it was shocked. Payal witnessed everything on karvachauth's day thought Khushi.

"I am now feeling Bad for Arnav. How he must have felt ?? We know Payal how much Arnav loved Khushi." said Shyam.

" Truly saying Khushi doesn't deserve Arnavji. She doesn't deserve love of a person like Arnavji. Seriously I wish jijaji that Dhruv would have been alive, then by now Khushi would have come across his truth. Then her life would be living hell, then she comes to know what she lost. "said Payal.

" We can't curse her Payal. She is unaware of the truth. Otherwise she is a good girl" said Shyam.

" I don't think she will believe anyone saying against Dhruv just like Anjaliji. Both are the dumbest women I have ever seen" said Payal angrily.

Then looking at Shyam, she said" I am sorry. I shouldn't have said that"

"It's Ok Payal. I too can't understand why RS believes him soo much. That is why we din't even said to her about what Dhruv did to Krithi. I am feeling sorry for that still" said Shyam.

" Don't feel bad Jijaji. If that you weren't there, that Dhruv might have * choking a bit* raped my Krithi. You saved her from that monster. I can never forget your help. But what pained me more is my sister's condition after that. She lost her mental stability. I feel like to kill that Dhruv when he used to roam freely while my sister is suffering in asylum. If you and Arnavji weren't there then don't what would have happened to my sister" Said Payal falling on the bed with a thud crying.

Shyam placed his hand on her shoulder's soothing" Forget it Payal. Now there is a lot of improvement in her health. She is now becoming our old Krithi again. Good even that Dhruv too left this world"

Khushi who is listening the conversation is scandalized. So this is the reason why Payal hates Dhruv thought Khushi.

She rushed to her room and locked it. It is too much for her in a day. She came to know about Dhruv's real face until now whom she is thinking as her love. Khushi sat with a thud on the bed crying aloud. He deceived Nitya, he married her only to make Arnavji suffer, he threatened her Amma, Babuji and he tried to molest Krithi.

How big fool she is to fall in his trap ?? All these days she was in an illusion that Dhruv loves her really. She sat in the corner crying her heart out.
