Part 19

Next morning:

Arnav and Khushi got ready to leave. Nani and Anjali instructed Arnav to take care of Khushi which he nodded. They both bid good bye to everyone and left for the airport.

They entered into the flight after completing the formalities. Khushi for the first time is boarding a flight. She is hell nervous about it. Air hostess guided them to their seats. Khushi sat at the window seat and Arnav beside her. she is observing everyone who are coming and having their seats.

Soon the announcement for flight takeoff is made and asked them to fasten their seatbelt. Arnav soon fastened his belt. Khushi saw this and tried to fasten her belt but she couldn't. Arnav saw it. Khushi thought that he will help her.

But he simply called the airhostess and asked her to help Khushi to which she did.

Khushi looked at him surprisingly.

Noticing it Arnav said" I know you won't like to take my help and my touch"

Khushi din't say anything and soon they flight tookoff. Arnav got immersed in reading a journal while Khushi sat looking out of the window.

After nearly 17- 18 hours journey, they reached Newyork. Arnav's manager from US office welcomed them and took to the car for dropping at the hotel.

Soon they reached the hotel and were directed to their room. Manager took leave from Arnav and went form their room.

Arnav and Khushi reached the room. Khushi looked at the luxury of the room with awe.

"There are two rooms in this suit. You can take which room you want. Other one I will take" said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head and checked both the rooms while Arnav sat there on the sofa relaxing.

Khushi came after few minutes and showing a room said" woo. I want that room"

Arnav din't say anything, he simply took his luggage and went into the next room. Khushi looked at him surprised, but took her luggage and went into the room.

The reason why she choose this room is the scenary in front of it. She can view beautiful city from it's window which the other room din't have.

Both the souls and bodies were exhausted due to continuous journey and thoughts, so both of them drifted into a deep slumber.

After few hours, Khushi woke up from her sleep. She felt a lot of relief. She slowly went into towards the window and lost in the beauty of NYC. Suddenly she felt a weird sensation in her stomach stating that she is hungry. She went into washroom and came out freshening up, went to hall.

Arnav is sitting there working on his laptop. He just looked up at her and again immersed in his work. Khushi din't know how to ask him.

"I am hungry" said Khushi. Arnav looked up at her, took the receiver of the phone beside him and informed the reception to bring food into their room.

Khushi sat there waiting for food while Arnav is busy in his work. After nearly twenty minutes food arrived, both of them had it silently.

Arnav again sat for work while Khushi got bored. So she went to the balcony.

After few minutes, the door bell rang. Arnav went and opened the door. He saw Lavanya and Raj standing in front of him. Khushi too came there hearing the door sound. She recognized Lavanya at an instant.

Both Lavanya and Raj entered the room. Lavanya hugged Arnav tightly while Raj took Arnav's handshake.

"Come. Sit" said Arnav leading them to the sofa. Both Raj and Lavanya saw Khushi. Arnav too looked at her.

"She is...." Arnav is going to say but Lavanya cutoff him" Khushi!! right"

Arnav nodded his head.

Lavanya went near Khushi, extending her hand said" Hi. I am Lavanya. Best friend of your husband. And he is Raj, my fiancee "

Khushi smiled to her and gave her hand. Four members sat down on the sofa. Arnav ordered soft drinks for them.

"Now Lavanya say why you came here ?? Tomorrow is your marriage and today here you are." Said Arnav.

"You are right Arnav. That is what I like in you. Actually me and raj decided to give all of our friends a party. But you are not there came today only and tomorrow is my marriage. So we decided to arrange party tonight. All our friends are coming. So you and Khushi have to come" said lavanya.

"Lavanya. You could have arranged earlier or later the marriage. What if I won't be there ??'asked Arnav.

"Arnav. How could you say that ?? You are a special person to me. Do you think mom and Dad will agree to celebrate a party without you ??"said Lavanya with a sad face.

"Haan Arnav. how can you think like that ?? It is because of you we both are getting married. Seriously I thought that I lost Lavanya but it is you who made her parents agree for marriage. Also you both share a strong and double bond.. " said Raj.

"Ofcourse. I know mom Dad will definitely listen to Arnav. Do you know Arnav ?? I feel like to commit suicide when my parents said no to marriage. My only hope is you. I immediately landed in India and came straightly to your office. I couldn't control my tears when I saw you and even cried not even realizing that your staff is watching us. Don't know what your staff thought that day seeing me crying in your cabin" said Lavanya.

Khushi's eyes widened hearing it which din't go unnoticed by Arnav.

"Ok. Now leave it all. We will both come." Said Arnav.

"We will leave now. Mom is very eager to meet you. So come early" said Lavanya.

"Ok..We will" said Arnav.. Lavanya then turned to Khushi and hugged her..

" Thanks for coming Khushi.. You will know about your husband's fan following in college today in the party.. Don't be shocked.. OK" said Lavanya..

Khushi faked a smile to Lavanya..

Both Raj and Lavanya left from there.

Khushi went from there silently not able to face Arnav while he sat down with his lappy.

Khushi stood at the window thinking of Lavanya's words.. By what Lavanya said, it is evident that she cried in office that day before Arnav to make her parents agree to marriage.. But why did Dhruv lied to her ?? Why did he said Lavanya is Arnav's girl friend and bearing his baby ?? Did Dhruv really doesn't know the truth or he lied to her even knowing the truth ?? She can't come to a conclusion on Dhruv.. The Dhruv she has seen is very caring towards her.. Did she really went wrong in estimating Dhruv.. The evening party solves some of her confusions..

In the evening:

It was 7'o clock. Arnav asked Khushi to be ready. He knocked her door asking if she is ready. Khushi opened the door wearing a purple netted saree with matching jewellary. She is looking stunning but Arnav look away as she looked up at him.

"Shall we move ??"asked Arnav.

"Ji" said Khushi and both of them left from there.

A car is arranged by Lavanya and Raj to the Venue. Both of them started in it for destination. Let's see what is in store for them..
