Chapter 3

After Lois got her memories restored, she promised that she'd keep Clark from flying off and interrogating and scaring off Lena Luthor, since honestly, she thought that only decent members of the Luthor family would be good for Kara.

However, right now she was going through her own memories and she smiled as she thought of how much her relationship with her father had improved in this reality, since it was to the point where he not only approved of her relationship with Clark, but he actually knew that Clark was Superman and even more importantly, he was more in the picture in this reality, since he came by at least once a month to be with the boys and he did like taking Jonathan fishing and he actually ran the threat reduction agency, which was another division of the DEO, though Clark would work with this one, mainly because he trusted his father-in-law, while Kara worked with the DEO itself.

Speaking of Kara, Lois was currently watching the national news where the top story was her favorite sister-in-law, since even though Kara wasn't Clark's sister, she was as close as, even though they didn't start off that way, but anyways, Lois was currently at home, watching the news where the story was that a mysterious new hero wearing Superman's crest and also calling herself Supergirl had appeared in National City this morning, saving a boss of elementary schoolers from going flying off the road.

"Damn, looks like Cat Grant just got her money maker back." Lois said as Jonathan and Jordan walked into the room.

"Is that Aunt Kara?" Jonathan asked as they saw what their mom was watching.

"Yeah, it looks like she is finally ready to walk the path of a hero like your dad and I have to say, it is very overdue. Especially since maybe now that your dad isn't trying to save the world solo, he might have more time to be there for you boys." Lois said.

"Where is he now?" Jonathan asked.

"Working out on the farm." Lois said.

"I wonder how Esme will react to finding out that her mom's a superhero." Jordan asked.

"Hopefully, she'll react better than you two did when you found out your father was Superman." Lois said.

"That's because you and dad didn't tell us until Jordan started shooting lasers out of his eyes and I'm really hoping that our little sister is like me with no powers." Jonathan said and Lois chuckled.

"Believe me, so do I. Not that I don't love you Jordan, but one kid with superpowers is enough." Lois said.

"No, I get it. Besides, being the kid with powers is kind of mine and dad's thing. I'm not sure I want to share it." Jordan said.

"I still think it's unfair that Jordan gets powers and I don't." Jonathan said and Lois sighed, since this had been a recurring thing ever since Jordan had got his powers.

"Jonathan, for all we know, you will get powers, they just haven't shown up yet for some reason. After all, your dad's powers didn't start popping up until he was around six, but your aunt Kara got her powers a few weeks after landing on Earth. It might just take some time. But in the meantime, at least it means that your athletic abilities are all yours." Lois reminded him.

"I know, but still." Jonathan said as Clark showed up.

"Jonathan, how many times do we have to go over this. And besides, it's time for you boys to get to school." Clark said and both of his sons nodded as they followed him out to the truck.

"I'll see you guys when I get home from work." Lois said.

"I'm surprised dad isn't freaking out over you still working while you're pregnant." Jordan said.

"That doesn't start until she starts showing." Clark said and Lois rolled her eyes at that, right as Clark's ears perked up.

"Everything okay?" Lois asked.

"I don't know. Your dad just activated his ELT and he knows not to do that unless it's important. I gotta go." Clark said as he sped off.

"Guess I'm driving you to school today. I better let Chrissy know I'll be a little late." Lois said as she pulled out her phone and shot off a text to Chrissy to do exactly that.
