"So, you thought that confronting Lena and blatantly telling her that you didn't think that she was good enough for Kara while you were also trying to get her to contribute to Lana's campaign was a good idea?" Lois asked her husband when he came home.

"Kara called you." Clark said, not even that surprised.

"Yes and you should consider yourself lucky that you have two sons who need their father right now or I'm sure Kara would be throwing you into the Phantom Zone right now, mainly because that's exactly what she said she wanted to do to you when she called me." Lois said.

"I admit, not my finest moment." Clark said.

"Clark, what were you thinking?" Lois asked.

"I was thinking that Lena crossed every line imaginable when it came to Kara and that was back when they were in denial about their feelings for each other." Clark said and Lois smiled at him.

"I understand that Clark and I don't want to see Kara hurt anymore than you do, but we have to trust that she knows what she's doing." Lois said and Clark nodded.

"I know and I will make it up to them both, but at the same time, this was also about me." Clark said.

"What are you talking about?" Lois asked as they sat down on the couch.

"Lois, you know what one of my biggest regrets in life is right." Clark said.

"Yeah, that you couldn't be there for Kara the way you should've been when she first landed." Lois said and now she realized what this was about.

"I guess I thought that maybe antagonizing Lena would help me make up for that in some way, as twisted as that sounds. Especially since I never did get to scare off any of Kara's boyfriends when she was younger." Clark said.

"That's what she had Alex for and trust me, Alex is way scarier than you." Lois said.

"Trust me, I'm well aware of that." Clark said.

"But seriously Clark, you can't interfere with Kara's love life. I for one am thrilled that she finally got together with Lena, since anyone with eyes could see the obvious chemistry between them. Besides, you need to remember that Lena is not Lex. She was hurt and she lashed out, but she tried to avoid crossing all the lines that Lex did. I won't deny that she did cross a few of them, but she stopped herself before she moved into Lex territory. Besides, maybe she can help us find him." Lois said, since Lex had gone into hiding after Clark had exposed his operations to the world.

"Maybe." Clark admitted, though their conversation was interrupted when they heard a knock on the door.

"It's your dad." Clark said as he used his x-ray vision to check, though he was surprised by who he found with Sam.

"I'll get it." Lois said.

"Are you sure you don't want to rest?" Clark asked and Lois rolled her eyes.

"I'm pregnant, not dead. And I'm barely showing yet." Lois said as she got up to get the door to find her father and her sister waiting on the other side.

"Dad, what a surprise." Lois said, hugging her father while paying no attention to Lucy, since while she was happy to see her sister there, she wasn't sure why Lucy was here.

"Lois, Lucy's here to make peace. I promise." Sam said.

"And why should I believe that?" Lois asked.

"Because earlier today Ally nearly killed dad and I." Lucy said, since Clark hadn't had a chance to tell Lois about that.

"Wait, what?" Lois asked as she showed them in and led them into the living room where Clark was waiting for them.

"Lucy." Clark said with a smile as he greeted them.

"Hey Clark. Where are the boys?" Lucy asked.

"Jonathan's at football practice and Jordan's hanging out with Sarah Cushing." Lois said.

"Has that boy made a move yet?" Sam asked.

"No, he's even slower than his father was." Lois said as Clark shot her a seriously look.

"Anyways, what brings you here Lucy?" Clark asked, even though he already knew as Lucy told them everything.

"Wait, you went back to Ally, but to try and take her down?" Lois asked.

"Yeah, you were right about her all along. Especially since she just tried to kill dad and I. Consider me officially disenchanted." Lucy said.

"And considering the fact that all of Ally's disciples are being questioned right now and she's currently wanted for attempted murder, something tells me she'll be keeping her head down for awhile." Sam said.

"So, where does that leave you?" Lois asked.

"Well, I'm staying with Dad for the time being and once things settle down at the FBI, I'm gonna start working with him at the DOD, which means you'll be seeing more of me." Lucy said.

"Good, because I want you to be involved in your niece's life." Lois said with a smile.

"Right, dad told me you were pregnant, though isn't a bit too early to know the gender?" Lucy asked.

"I'm hopeful. But anyways, why don't we go talk. Sister to sister." Lois said and Lucy nodded as she let her big sister lead her out of the room, resulting in both Clark and Sam smiling.

"It'll be nice not having those two at each other's throat's anymore." Clark said and Sam nodded in agreement.

"Also Clark, there's something I wanted to talk to you about." Sam said.

"What?" Clark asked.

"I was thinking, since Lucy is going to be working with me, maybe it's time that we bring her into this life. I think she can handle it." Sam said.

"I'll talk to Lois about it, but personally, I agree, since it's not fair that she's the only member on both sides of the family who doesn't know the truth. I mean, besides your ex-wife, but she has no right to know." Clark said.

"On that we agree. That's why I never bothered tracking her down." Sam said.

"Anyways, I'll talk to Lois and if she agrees and once things calm down a bit with Lucy, we'll tell her. And I think we both owe James a thank you, since if it weren't for him, Lucy would still be Ally's faithful little sidekick." Clark said and Sam nodded.

"I never liked his relationship with Lucy, but I guess some good came out of it after all." Sam said.

"Any news on the Stranger?" Clark asked, referring to the man who'd attacked the power plants.

"Not yet. He's keeping his head down, but we'll find him. Hopefully we'll get a hit on him before he strikes again, though without knowing what he looks like, that could be hard." Sam said and Clark nodded in agreement.
