After her conversation with Kate, Kara had called Lena to tell her to reschedule for a later date, since honestly, her mind was stuck on what Kate had said to her, since she couldn't deny that it was a tempting offer, but she also knew she wasn't in the right headspace to talk to Lena right now. Fortunately Lena had understood and told Kara to take all the time she needed, which was a relief, since right now, there was someone else she needed to talk to.

"Okay, so why did I need to leave Kelly at her campaign headquarters to come over here?" Alex asked her sister as they had drinks at Kara's apartment.

"How is the campaign going?" Kara asked, since Kelly was currently running for mayor of National City.

"Nice try. You called me here for a reason, what is it?" Alex asked, knowing her sister well and Kara sighed before telling her about her conversation with Kate earlier today.

"Wait, you're telling me that Batwoman actually said that she wants to sleep with you?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, imagine my surprise." Kara said and Alex chuckled.

"Honestly, I'd think it's flattering that she actually said she wants to sleep with you. I don't get what the big deal is?" Alex asked, before she noticed the look on her sister's face and realized what was going on.

"Wait, are you actually thinking about it?" Alex asked, not being able to resist chuckling.

"Maybe. Honestly, I don't know. I mean, I can't deny that it's been on my mind ever since Kate talked to me about it, but I'm just not sure if it's something I can do." Kara said and Alex smiled.

"Alex, can you please be serious about this for a few minutes? I asked you to come here because you're the only person I feel like I can have this conversation with and not just because you're my sister." Kara said.

"But also because I'm gay and I've had a few one night stands?" Alex asked with a chuckle.

"Yes, though I wouldn't have put it like that. Seriously Alex, I need your advice." Kara said and Alex sighed, since honestly, she knew that Kara needed her to be serious right now, not teasing.

"Honestly Kara, I think the fact that you even thought about it enough to talk to me about it is your answer, but this isn't a decision I can make for you." Alex said and Kara sighed.

"I do want to do it, I just needed you to help me force myself to say it." Kara said and Alex smiled.

"I know. And I think that this also shows that you might be a bit more like me than we thought." Alex said.

"I'm not sure if I'm gay or even bi." Kara said and Alex just chuckled.

"Kara, relax, I wasn't accusing you of anything and you know that I wouldn't judge you for it. I just meant that if you do go through with it, you should consider how one night with Kate compares with any of the nights you spent with Mon-El or any other guys you might've slept with." Alex said.

"Maybe." Kara agreed.

"Kara, it's clear that you wanted to do this anyways, so why did you need me to talk you into it?" Alex asked, though she had a feeling she knew what it was.

"You know how I used to complain about how much more advanced Krypton was than Earth?" Kara asked.

"Of course." Alex asked, her suspicion now confirmed.

"One of the areas where Earth was superior was the sexuality thing. On Krypton, relationships with people of the same sex were considered taboo." Kara said.

"As opposed to how widely accepted same sex relationships are here?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It was worse on Krypton. Everything there was very structured and anyone who didn't fit that particular image was basically erased and cast out from society." Kara said.

"No wonder you're so repressed." Alex said.

"Alex, please, don't. I'm honestly glad you didn't come out until after we were grown up, just because I don't know how I would've reacted when we were growing up." Kara admitted and Alex smiled.

"I'm sure that you would've taken it gracefully, but Kara, you're not on Krypton anymore. And besides, you slept with the prince of Daxam, one of Krypton's most hated. I doubt you can get more taboo than that." Alex pointed out.

"Really Alex?" Kara asked glaring at her.

"Sorry, I couldn't resist. But seriously, are we done here? I'd like to get back to my girlfriend and it sounds like you have somewhere you need to be. Unless you want her to come here?" Alex said as Kara sighed.

"Yes, you can go." Kara said and Alex chuckled as she left her sister alone to figure things out and smiled when she turned around to see Kara pulling out her phone and Alex left, knowing who her sister was calling.

"I was wondering when I'd get your call. I'm glad it came before I went back to Gotham. Does this mean you want to take me up on my offer?" Kate asked after she answered Kara's call.

"Yeah, I do. Sorry it took me so long to say it, but I needed time to process." Kara said.

"No worries. I knew you'd call and honestly, it's sooner than I thought it would be." Kate said.

"So, do you want to come to my apartment or should I come to your hotel?" Kara asked.

"Come to the hotel, since it'll be easier for you to get back to your apartment to change than it would be for me." Kate said.

"Tell me the hotel and the room." Kara said as Kate did exactly that.

"I'll be there in a few minutes. Just leave the window open." Kara said and she heard Kate chuckle.

"Will do." Kate said.

Kate was standing in the middle of the living room of the presidential suite of the National City Royale Hotel, waiting when she heard the familiar sound of a Kryptonian landing on the terrace and she smiled as she turned to see Kara standing there, a bag over her shoulder, clearly filled with an outfit for tomorrow.

"Glad to see you didn't change your mind." Kate said.

"Sorry, I had to make sure I didn't draw any attention, since I didn't want people to see Supergirl sneaking into a hotel room." Kara said.

"Yeah, I can see how that might not be good for your image. But anyways, you sure you want to do this?" Kate asked, giving Kara one last chance to back out.

"Honestly Kate, it took every ounce of willpower I have not to fly straight through buildings just to get here faster. I want this." Kara assured her and Kate smiled as she watched Kara drop her bag on the coffee table before walking up to her.

"So, do you want to do this here in the living room or?" Kara asked, only to be stopped and effectively shut up when Kate wrapped her arms around her neck and kissed her and Kara immediately felt herself melting into the kiss as she returned it and she kind of let Kate take the lead for now as she felt herself being led into the bedroom and smiled as things developed from there.
