To say Alex was shocked when she saw Kara's aunt Astra land at the DEO's door was an understatement, since she was still working on putting together a strike force to raid Fort Rozz, since while she was still going to allow the Legion to take the lead on that front, she still insisted on sending the DEO in as backup, since they'd be dealing with Astra and Non's army, not to mention any other prisoners that might be in it.

However, all those plans changed when she saw the only member of the army she genuinely wanted to change land at her front door, though that didn't stop her and every other agent in the DEO from pointing a weapon at her.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Alex asked, pretending like she didn't know who she was, but she was genuinely confused about why she was here.

"Relax, Director Danvers. I come in peace." Astra said, holding her hands up in surrender, though that did not get any of the agents to lower their weapons.

"Who are you? I won't ask you again." Alex said.

"My name is General Astra In-Ze of the Kryptonian army and sister of Alura Zor-El. I believe you've heard of my niece, she goes by the name of Supergirl." Astra said and Alex did a pretty good job of pretending to be surprised if she said so herself as she gestured for her agents to put power dampening cuffs on Astra, who allowed them to do so without any issues.

"Take her to lock up. I need to make a call." Alex said, since she was hoping that maybe she could avoid having to kill Astra again, especially since they knew that Alura was still alive, though they hadn't found Argo yet.

However, Alex quickly stepped to the side so she could call her sister.

"Alex, if you're calling me about my relationship with Lena." Kara began.

"Your aunt just showed up at the DEO." Alex said and she could hear her sister's breath hitch at hearing that.

"What's she doing?" Kara asked.

"She surrendered to us and I have her being taken to holding right now. I need you here now to talk to her. To make sure that this isn't a trap, even though I'm getting the sense that this time, she's genuinely had a change of heart, but I could use you here to be sure, since you're the only person on this planet that Astra would truly trust." Alex said.

"I'll be there as soon as I can." she heard Kara say.

Astra was currently sitting in her cell at the DEO, waiting for her niece to inevitably show up and sure enough, the door to the cell block opened and she saw her niece, dressed in her full Supergirl suit, walk in and up to her cell.

"You're really alive. I didn't believe it when Director Danvers called me." Supergirl said to her aunt and Astra could hear the joy in her niece's voice at seeing her alive.

"I wasn't on Krypton when it perished. I was imprisoned in Fort Rozz." Astra said.

"I know. My pod contained an AI of my mom who told me everything. But I want to hear it from you, since if there's one thing I've learned it's that I shouldn't just blindly believe whatever she says." Kara said, since that was a lesson she'd learned the hard way.

"I only wanted to save our planet from it's inevitable destruction, but Non perverted and corrupted my intentions into something sinister that led to people dying. I never wanted anyone to die, Kara. I just wanted to save our world." Astra said.

"I believe you. But what made you think that Myriad was a good idea?" Kara asked.

"You know about Myriad?" Astra asked.

"I found a way around the ban on it. What would compel you to create technology like that?" Kara asked her aunt.

"Desperation. It seemed like a good idea at the time, since it seemed like the only way to get the entire planet to truly work together to save our world. But now I realize that Non never wanted to use the technology to save the planet, he wanted to use it to rule Krypton and now he wants to use it to rule Earth." Astra said.

"What made you come to your senses?" Kara asked.

"You and your mother. I remember what your mother told me before she sent me to Fort Rozz and I've been watching you since I discovered that you survived Krypton's destruction. It's been weakening my resolve and Non's hold on me for years." Astra said.

"Why did you marry him anyways? You never exactly seemed happy in it?" Kara asked her aunt.

"It was an arranged marriage. I never wanted to marry him and you know how divorce as it's called on this planet was treated on Krypton." Astra said and Kara nodded.

"But now you're free of him." Kara said.

"Though now I find myself prisoner in another way." Astra said as Alex joined them.

"Actually, now that we're sure of your loyalties, I've managed to work out a deal for you, especially since as far as we can tell, you haven't actually committed any crimes on this planet yet." Alex said as she opened the cell door.

"I'm free?" Astra asked.

"As long as you agree to work with the DEO, since not only can you provide us with tactical information, but I also want you to start training my agents to be able to fight like Kryptonians, since I'm assuming that when you were training, you didn't have powers?" Alex asked and Astra nodded.

"You sure you want to put your agents through that? I was famous for breaking cadets when I trained them in the military back home?" Astra asked her.

"Perfect." Alex said.

"I also want you to train me. Alex and Kal have taught me how to fight to the best of their abilities, but you were one of the best warriors on Krypton. You can teach me how to fight the way our people did." Kara said and Astra nodded.

"I accept. And I'm guessing you know that we've been hiding in Fort Rozz?" Astra asked and both Kara and Alex nodded.

"Yep, we've just been trying to gather more intelligence about what we're up against before we launch any kind of operation, especially since it will be a joint operation between the DEO and Kara's team, since they work separate from this organization, though I'm a member of both." Alex said and Kara nodded.

"Alex kind of serves as a liaison between my team and the DEO." Kara said and Astra nodded.

"I'll tell you everything you need to know to launch an attack." Astra said.

"Then let's head to the command center." Alex said, since the sooner they got the briefing over with, the sooner Kara could take her aunt to the Tower.
