Okay, here's the chapter we've all been waiting for. I wasn't planning on it taking so long to get here, but I think that the build up was well worth it. I hope you enjoy Kara and Lena's first date and that I did it justice.

"I have to admit, I've never been taken out in a limo before." Kara said as she and Lena sat comfortably in the stretched black limo Lena had taking them to their date.

"Really, not even to your high school prom?" Lena asked her, surprised.

"My date couldn't afford one. Besides, limos weren't very common in small towns like Midvale. But I'm assuming that you went to your prom in an extravagant limo." Kara said with a smile.

"You really think that Luthors go to prom. Especially since it was around the time Lex started showing the world his true colors." Lena said and Kara nodded, though she could tell that there was still something bothering Lena.

"What's wrong? I thought that tonight was supposed to be only good things. I even left my suit behind." Kara reminded her.

"It's nothing." Lena said.

"Lena, we promised each other no more secrets, since we both know how badly our secrets have affected our friendship and now that we're taking things to the next level, I don't want secrets to ruin it." Kara said and Lena nodded.

"I'm sorry it's just, my mother decided to pay me a visit while I was getting ready earlier." Lena said.

"Say no more. A visit from Lillian Luthor would sour anyone's mood. What did she say?" Kara asked.

"She thought that this was some kind of trick to get in close to you, since she still knows who you are." Lena said.

"I figured and once we find Jeremiah, I'll have J'onn wipe her mind of my identity." Kara said and Lena nodded.

"Okay then, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's not let your evil stepmother ruin our night. Especially since I think we both agree that this is way too overdue." Kara said and Lena smiled and nodded.

"You're right. Sorry, I didn't mean to bring down the mood. It's time to go back to making sure that this first date blows every other date you've ever gone on out of the water." Lena said with a smirk as the limo came to a stop and her chauffeur came to open the door and Lena got out first before taking Kara's hand and helping her out.

"Wait, we're at Saxon's?" Kara asked, since this was one of the best and most exclusive restaurants in the city.

"Like I said, nothing but the best for you Kara. And I've even taken the liberty of renting out the entire restaurant for tonight." Lena said.

"You didn't." Kara said in shock.

"Just like how you gave your super suit to Alex to avoid anything distracting us from our date, I don't want any unwanted interruptions tonight. I also took the liberty of doing a deep dive into every employee here to make sure that none of them have any association with Lex or Lillian to ensure that they don't ruin our date." Lena said and Kara smiled.

"Like I said, this kind of treatment is a one time thing, since I can't afford to do the same thing for you." Kara said.

"Not yet. With your new job, you'll be in my tax bracket soon. Especially since I'm willing to bet that Cat is gonna end up grooming you to take over Catco, since we both know you're her favorite employee." Lena said.

"Maybe, but for now, I want to enjoy you spoiling me, since no one else I've ever dated has treated me to something like this and it's particularly insulting considering my last boyfriend was an actual prince and he never treated me to something like this." Kara said with a chuckle.

"Clearly he didn't deserve you. Then again, I'm not sure I do either." Lena admitted.

"I wouldn't be here, dressed like this right now if I didn't think you did deserve me. Now, let's enjoy our night, since this is the first time in years I haven't had to resist the urge to be Supergirl and I have no interest in ruining it." Kara said and Lena nodded as she led Kara inside to find the host waiting for them and he led them to an already prepared table, which had candles lit and a bottle of Kara's favorite wine on the table.

"Is this?" Kara asked.

"A bottle of your favorite red wine, yes it is. I wanted everything to be perfect tonight." Lena said with a smile as they took their seats.

"And I'm assuming that you're picking up the check?" Kara asked.

"Of course, so order anything you want." Lena said.

"Do you have anything else planned besides this dinner?" Kara asked.

"Well, there is dessert and then I do have another surprise afterwards that I'm not going to spoil." Lena said and Kara smiled, since she couldn't wait to find out as they picked their menus.

After dinner and dessert that even Kara had to admit was very filling, which was impressive considering her alien metabolism, she was very eager to find out what else Lena had planned for tonight.

"So, what else is going on, since I don't see the limo." Kara said, since honestly, she was already sure that she'd be sending Alex a text that she wouldn't be home tonight, but she was curious about what it was.

"Trust me, you're going to love it." Lena promised her as Kara heard the sound of hooves and she turned to see a beautiful horse drawn carriage pull up to the restaurant.

"A carriage ride? Alex told you, didn't she?" Kara asked, since after seeing so many romantic movies involving horse carriage rides when she'd first come to earth, one of Kara's secret wishes had been to one day be with someone who'd treat her to one.

"She didn't have too. Kara, anyone who knows you even half as well as I do knows that you're a hopeless romantic, which means that a gesture like this has got to be on your list of romantic fantasies. I'm just bringing it to life." Lena said with a smile.

"One sec." Kara said as she pulled out her phone to shoot off a quick text to Alex.

"What was that?" Lena asked.

"Me telling Alex that I won't be going back to my apartment until tomorrow." Kara said and Lena grinned.

"I was hoping you'd say that. Looks like I played my cards right." Lena said as she helped Kara into the carriage before getting in herself and smiled as the driver started the ride and felt Kara place her head on her shoulder.

"I love you Lena." Kara said, since while normally she wouldn't say that this soon, honestly, she felt like she'd waited too long to say it.

"I love you too Kara." Lena smiled as she kissed Kara's forehead as they continued on the best night of both of their lives.

Hope you guys enjoyed the date chapter and I hope I did justice. Don't worry, now that the date is done, now we'll start getting some action. I just wanted to get the ball rolling with Kara and Lena's relationship first.
