Kara had just finished getting ready for her big date tonight and honestly, she'd never put this much effort into getting ready for a date before, which just proved how much more this relationship meant to her over all her others. Anyways, Kara was looking at her reflection in the mirror and she had to say she'd never looked better. She had her hair out of its usual ponytail, leading her golden blonde locks to fall down to her shoulders and she was wearing a stunning, lacy blue dress, since as Alex had told her numerous times, blue was definitely her color and not just for her super suit. The dress went down to her knees and definitely hugged her body in all the right places and showed just enough skin to surely keep Lena's eyes on her. She'd also been sure to curl her hair to look perfect and her make up was perfect. And she had to admit that wearing her glasses, in addition to keeping her identity secret, also helped tie the whole look together.

The only part of her usual attire that she wasn't wearing was her legion ring, since like she'd promised Lena, there would be no appearances from Supergirl tonight and honestly, this was the first time in her life that she wasn't concerned about the rest of the city. She just wanted to be able to focus all of her attention on her date. Something that she'd never done before, which once again proved how far she'd already fallen for Lena, since she just wanted to focus on her.

However, the sound of chewing on her bed behind her brought another smile to Kara's face as she turned to look at her beloved dog Krypto, who was currently lying on her bed, his red sun collar firmly secured around his neck to dampen his powers, since he still couldn't control them, but now Krypto was chewing furiously on the new bone Kara had gotten him, since she'd kind of gone on a dog toy shopping spree online while Brainy was running tests on Krypto.

"I see you like that bone boy." Kara said with a chuckle as Krypto didn't even bother to look up to acknowledge her, since he was too dead set on chewing on his bone.

"You're gonna love being on earth, especially once you learn to use your powers." Kara said as she rubbed her beloved dog's head, but Krypto still ignored her.

"You're gonna be good for Alex and Kelly tonight?" Kara asked her dog, since they'd volunteered to dogsit for her tonight, just because technically Krypto was still a puppy and while she knew he was smarter than any other dog on the planet, he was still a dog and she didn't want to have to worry about him trashing her apartment while she was on her date. Though honestly, Krypto didn't look like he cared about anything besides his bone and Kara just chuckled at that, deciding that since her dog was happy, he probably wouldn't even notice she was gone until the bone ran out and by the time that happened, Alex and Kelly would here to keep him company.

Speaking of which, Kara smiled as she heard a knock on the door and she went to open it to find Alex and Kelly waiting for her.

"Thanks again for watching Krypto tonight guys. He should be pretty low maintenance since he's so preoccupied with his bone I don't think he even realizes that I'm still in the apartment." Kara said and Alex chuckled.

"I see that you're clearly wasting no expense in making sure you look good for your date tonight. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen you put this much effort into getting ready for a date in your life." Alex said with a smirk as Kara let her and Kelly in.

"Before I forget, please hold onto this for me." Kara said as she handed Alex her Legion ring.

"Wow, I never thought I'd see the day that you're willingly handing over your super suit." Alex said, thinking that if Lena could get Kara to do that, then she was definitely a keeper.

"I promised Lena that there would be no Supergirl tonight and honestly, I want to enjoy this date without worrying about needing to rush off for any reason." Kara said.

"So, I'm assuming that bad things will happen to anyone who calls you for Supergirl stuff tonight?" Alex asked.

"The only reason you should be calling me tonight is if the world is ending and that's only if no other hero is available to handle it." Kara said.

"Okay, I clearly need to give Lena my blessing to marry you if she has this kind of effect on you." Alex said.

"Don't even think about it Alex. I don't want to scare Lena off by thinking I'm expecting that from her before we even go on our first date." Kara said before she noticed the way Kelly was staring at her.

"You okay Kelly?" Kara asked her.

"Sorry, I was just thinking that maybe I picked the wrong Danvers sister." Kelly said and now Kara smirked, since that was proof that she's picked the right dress for her date as Alex smacked Kelly's arm.

"Very funny Kelly." Alex said.

"Who said I was kidding? I mean seriously Alex, look at her." Kelly said and Alex rolled her eyes.

"Alex, it sounds like you might need to start dressing up for your girlfriend a bit more, since I don't think Lena would be very willing to share me with Kelly." Kara said, though she was clearly flattered by this.

"You're right about that. I don't like sharing what's mine." Lena agreed as she walked up to join them, wearing a stunning purple dress that nearly had Kara drooling.

"And neither do I." Alex agreed.

"Anyways, please keep an eye on Krypto and I'll let you know when we're on our way back." Kara said, since Lena was taking Kara to their date in a limo.

"Should we be expecting you home tonight?" Alex asked with a smirk.

"Alex." Kara said, blushing.

"Hey, if you didn't want me making comments like that, you shouldn't have worn that dress." Alex said with a smile.

"Alex, leave them alone." Kelly said.

"We'd better go before you turn as red as your cape." Lena said as she held out her arm to her date, who took it.

"Have fun you two." Alex said, happy to see how in love her sister clearly was with Lena.

"Thanks. Keep an eye on Krypto." Kara said as she let Lena lead her away.

"So, how much do you want to bet that they end up sleeping together tonight?" Alex asked once they were gone.

"20 bucks says Kara won't want to sleep with Lena on the first date." Kelly said with a smile.

"50 bucks says Kara won't be back here until tomorrow to rush to get ready for work tomorrow." Alex said, since she knew that despite appearances, Kara was the kind of girl to sleep with her date on the first date, since she'd slept with Mon-El before they even went on their first date.

"You're on." Kelly said as they shook hands before they turned their attention to the dog they were supposed to be watching.
