Chapter Three

A/N: Alrighty guys, so...I lied. Imma write one more chapter before break. Ok, so it might be more than one. But for now, it's definitely just one more. I thought I'd owe it to you guys. Also, thanks for the 100 more reads from yesterday. This series is really growing fast in publicity. And that's so fascinating to me. Really it is. Entyways, thank you all so very, very much. Words cannot explain how thankful I am and I love you all so very, very much and words cannot express that either. Okie dokie y'all, here's chapter three.👏👏👏👏👏

P.S. (F/P) means favorite pizza.

~Mark's POV~
I definitely know this feeling. We have definitely met somewhere before. And we were definitely more than just a 'public run into each other' scenario. We were definitely something more. That's why I did it. That's why I kissed her. I was trying to remember. Trying to remember what we had. What had happened to us. But, unfortunately, it was no use. "Um...no...I-I'm afraid we haven't met before." I had a strange feeling she was lying. I was just so sure of it. "Are you sure? I could've sworn we've met before." She shook her head. I was confused. "Maybe at ComicCon one year?" She shook her head again. "I've never been to ComicCon." I thought some more. "Maybe somewhere in public? Like the park?" She just shook her head again and looked down. "No. I'm not from here, remember? Besides, if that did happen...I would've remembered." I sighed. "Well then...consider us meeting for the first time. Like, starting from scratch. Pretend none of the whole 'kissing incidents' happened." I smiled at her a little and she looked up at me. She smiled a little but, behind her eyes held sadness. I saw that sadness and my smile turned into a bit of a smirk. "Unless, of course, you'd rather not forget the 'incidents'. That's totally fine with me." Her eyes lit up and her face lit up as well. Not with joy, but with red. She was blushing, hard. "Um...well, I mean...if it's ok with you, um...yeah, honestly, I'd rather not forget that..." I smiled at her and cupped her cheek again and glossed my thumb over her cheekbone. I leaned in and kissed her again. This kiss was filled with so much passion and meaning. I had never filled a kiss with that much passion and meaning ever before. But I could tell she was special. I feel like I've known her for a million years, but I can't remember any one of those years.

~(Y/N)'s POV~
I was finally on the right track to getting my life back. Everything I had worked so hard for was about to all fall into place again. This kiss was the door opening to my 'future', so to speak. It's all smooth sailing from now on. And I have this weird, twisted feeling that Mark knows what we were before. Maybe I can tell him sooner than I thought. And maybe I will.

We finally pulled away from the kiss. Neither one of us wanted to, but we needed to breathe. He pressed his forehead to mine and smiled. I did as well. He pulled back a little, hand still on my cheek, and looked into my eyes. "I never want this to end, (Y/N). I know that you say we've never met before, but I feel like we have. And if we have met before and I lost you, I never want to lose you again. I know this is only your first day here, but I want you to stay here with me. And since this is only your first day here, I will give you til the end of our time together to let you think this all over and to see how we progress. I will be fine with whatever answer you give me. I promise I'll be fine." He smiled a little, but there was sadness behind it. Holy shit, he does know...er, 'thinks' he knows. Whatever it is, he's onto me. I nodded and placed my hand over his heart. "Mark...I don't need time to think. I've already made up my mind." I smiled a half-smile. He tilted his head a little. "You have?" There was worry in his eyes. I nodded again. "I have. And I will stay with you. And Mark, we have met before but-..." My voice trailed off. I didn't know if I should tell him just yet. "Wait, but you just said we haven't. Now you're saying we have?" I bit my lip because I immediately regretted mentioning it. "Yes, we have but it's not what you'd expect..." I looked down, waiting for him to kick me out for lying to him. "Well, I've heard crazy stories before. I'm all ears, if you'd like to tell me." He sat up and I was ready to tell him.

I was just about to tell him, but then the doorbell rang and Chica immediately started barking. I sighed. "Hang on one sec. Hold that thought, ok? I'd really like to hear this." He smiled at me and lightly caressed my cheek as he stood up and walked to the front door. He payed the pizza-man and he left. Mark came back in with the pizza box in hand and sat it down on the coffee table. "Alrighty, we now have (F/P)." He sat back down next to me and handed me a paper plate. "Thank you." I kindly took the plate from him and grabbed a slice of pizza. "Hey, how did you know this was my favorite pizza?" Mark just smiled and grabbed a slice for himself. "It's my favorite too. That and I also had this gut feeling that this was your favorite." He took a bite and he immediately put the slice down and his eyes started to water. "HOT!" He put his plate on the table and quickly got up to get some water. I just couldn't help but laugh. He grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and chugged half of it. I was still laughing at this point. He finally put the bottle down and tried to catch his breath. He looked at me over the bar and saw me laughing. "Why are you laughing?" I tried to stop myself from laughing so hard. "Well, because the pizza was hot and apparently you thought it was cold." I laughed a little again and Mark sneered at me. "Ha, ha, very funny." He twisted the cap back onto his water bottle. "Yes, it was very funny." He rolled his eyes and walked over to his fridge. "Would you like anything to drink, Lady Laughsalot?" I chuckled a little at that. "Just some water would be fine. Thank you." He nodded to me and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge and came back to sit next to me. He handed me the water bottle and sat down on the couch. "Lady Laughsalot?" I raised an eyebrow at him. He laughed a little and blushed. "Yeah. You were laughing at me so that's my nickname for you when you're laughing at me for doing something stupid." I chuckled again. "Well, I like it." He smiled at me and I smiled back. "Really? You do?" I nodded to him. "Of course I do. It's cute." He blushed a little again. "I'm sure you're pizza is cooled off enough now." He picked up his plate and took a bite of his pizza. "Yup. It's the perfect temperature." I laughed a little again and began to eat my pizza as well.

We polished off the pizza and Mark relaxed into the couch and he had his arm up on the back of the couch. "So, before the pizza came, you were gonna tell me where we've met before?" I nodded to him. "Yeah, um...well, you'll probably never believe me if I told you." I looked down and he lifted my chin up. "Of course I'll believe you." I half-smiled at him and took a deep breath. "Ok. Well, we met at ComicCon actually, and I got my chips stuck in the vending machine on my floor of the hotel. You came in and got them unstuck and-" He cut me off. "Wait, wait, wait. I thought you said earlier that you've never been to a ComicCon?" I sighed a little. "I'll get to the explanation soon. Anyways, you got the chips unstuck and asked me if I were going to your panel later. I said yes, obviously, and..."

I told him of our time at the ComicCon and all the 'fun' times we had and how hard it was to leave each other. I told him how he proposed to me and the break up we had. I told him how we got back together and how emotional the whole thing was. I told him of the Supernatural contest and how we got to be on the show. And I told him how a false ceiling fell on me, when I saved Misha, and knocked me out.

"So, I pushed Misha out of the way and the ceiling fell on me. I was knocked out for awhile. And when I woke up, I was in my hometown hospital. My mother was next to me and she was crying. I asked her what happened to me and she told me that I had been in a serve car accident and that I had been in a coma for 9 months. I didn't believe a word she said but I told her I did so she wouldn't have to worry about me." I looked down again and a few tears fell from my eyes. "I didn't believe her because I didn't want to. I didn't want it all to be fake. I wanted it to be real. I wanted us to be real and...I couldn't stand it being all fake. Just a dream. I just...couldn't." I cried a little more. Mark wrapped his arms around me and I cried into his shoulder. He rubbed my back to calm me down. "I believe you, (Y/N). I really do." I cried into his shoulder even more and he held me close. He believed me. He actually believed me. Maybe because he knew he had a feeling and he just proved it to be true. Maybe I already had my life back. Maybe this just made everything click together. Maybe the life I 'had' was just the 'looking glass effect'. Maybe the 'coma' I was in was my 'looking glass' and I used it to go to a different reality. My dreamworld reality.
