Jennifer Pierce was currently scared out of her mind as all she could do was float around inside her safe space, her mind reeling from the revelations she'd learned from her alternate selves, both of whom went to extremes on either side, since one version of her had robbed every other meta in Freeland, including her father and sister, of their powers and the other version of her had gone completely evil as Odell's lap dog. And she didn't want to be either of those people, since she knew that if it hadn't been for whatever the hell it was that sent her into her safe space in the first place that caused her to learn her lesson, then she likely would've become the evil version of herself. But now she knew better.

Of course none of that mattered if she couldn't figure out how to get out of her safe space, since as far as she could tell, she was stuck in her safe space and unlike the previous times she'd been in her safe space, this time she'd been sent into by accident and she had no idea how to get out of it.

Then suddenly, she felt her body literally start to dissolve and turn into pure energy. At first she panicked, then she remembered that this was just another aspect of her powers, she just didn't know why this was happening as her body completely turned into energy and it was at that point that she finally felt herself leaving her safe space, though she didn't understand why until she suddenly found herself in what looked like her bedroom, the only thing was, there was another her inside it and she was feeling drawn to her, though she didn't understand why.

At the same time this was happening, the new Jennifer Pierce was currently sitting in her room, trying to come to grips with the fact that she'd just been abducted by the 100 gang and nearly killed. And then of course, there was the fact that Jen had actually seen Black Lightning in person. Before now, she'd only ever heard stories about him and seen photos of him, but until now, she'd never truly believed that he existed, though when she did see him, she couldn't help but feel some kind of connection to him, like she'd met him before, but she didn't know why.

But that was the least of her worries, since suddenly, Jen began to feel a strange presence in her room and suddenly, she saw some kind of weird golden energy floating around her.

"What the hell is going on?" Jen asked as before she could even scream, the light flew towards her and actually went straight into her, causing her entire body to erupt in light as she actually felt herself being lifted off the ground as the light fully encompassed her and suddenly, she suddenly felt a killer headache as another person's consciousness began to merge and take control of her's.

"What the hell just happened?" Jen asked as she realized that she'd escaped her safe space and finally settled into this new body, more confused than she was before she left her safe space, but what she did know was that she was out, which meant now she could find her dad and tell him the truth about her now former partnership with Agent Odell, since now that she knew where that path led, she finally understood that her family had been right about the ASA all along and she'd do whatever she had to in order to make things right.

But first she needed to make sense about what was going on, especially since when she checked the date on her phone, she found that she'd somehow gone back in time to the year 2012, though she was still the same age she'd been when her powers had surfaced, which meant that she'd been born earlier for some reason. This was all very confusing to her, so she decided to head to the Sanctum, hoping her father might have some answers.
