"You wanted to see me?" Jefferson asked Gambi when he entered the Sanctum a few days later.

"Yeah, thanks to my new resources as the head of Argus's Freeland base, I was able to have this put together for you." Gambi said as handed Jefferson a familiar watch.

"Is this what I think it is?" Jefferson asked as he put the watch on.

"Yep." Gambi said as Jeff charged the watch up and sure enough, his newer, lighter suit formed around his body.

"I'm working on nanotech models for the girls too. I'll send Jen her's once it's done and I'll give Anissa her's when she not only has her powers, but also earns the right to use them again." Gambi said.

"Yeah, I think she might be on her way to earning that privilege back." Jefferson said, very proud of Anissa for her clinic idea.

"Good to know." Gambi said.

"Anyways, I think it's time to do some whale hunting." Black Lightning said.

"You gonna head straight to Tobias's office?" Gambi asked, since they knew where he lived.

"Not yet. If I do that, then Black Lightning is accused of attacking a random civilian. We need proof of Tobias's crimes. No, I'm gonna start by finishing off the ASA's operation. Starting with taking down their Greenlight operations before anyone else decides to pick up where they left off. Let's just hope that Tobias doesn't know that Greenlight is a viable way to create metahumans." Jefferson said.

"Well, somewhat stable." Gambi said.

"Still. At least he hasn't tried to make a move in Central City or literally any other city in the country." Jefferson said, since Freeland seemed to be the only city in America where the metas weren't naturally stable.

"Anyways Jeff, time to get to work. Freeland needs Black Lightning back." Gambi said.

"Yep. Do me a favor and not act smug around Lynn about winning that fight." Jefferson said.

"Don't worry I won't. Especially since as long as she's on Argus's payroll, I'm her boss and I want her to not hate Argus like she does the ASA." Gambi said.

"Well, just don't condition her to take the most addictive drug on the planet and you should be good." Jefferson said and Gambi nodded as Jefferson checked out the suit's functions and sure enough, he found he once again had flight capabilities, since while his powers had been advanced due to the ASA's testing in the old reality, he still could not fly without it, something he found very annoying, especially since Jen could fly without a suit on. Then again, as has been stated numerous times, Jen's powers were definitely an upgraded version of his, since while he could only absorb electricity, she could generate it. He just hoped that she'd be able to control it without him there to siphon off the excess energy, though to be fair, he was pretty sure some of the times she'd had trouble controlling her powers was just because they'd picked the wrong way to help her control them. Hopefully Jen's new team would be able to help her in ways that he and their family hadn't before.

"Time to go to work." Jeff said as he activated his goggles and Black Lightning headed out to start bringing hope back to Freeland.
