I did my hair and makeup. I looked great. Jamie walked back in while I was looking for a pair of heels to wear. Jamie had on a short black dress. She had already done her makeup and hair to. She had on bolder makeup because she was wearing a plane black dress. Jamie has curled her hair just a little bit. "Come on you ready?" Jamie asks me. "Yea just let me put my shoes on." I say grabbing a pair of black heels. "The guys are ready to go." Jamie said. "Alright lets go." I said walking out of my room. "Come on guys I'm driving." I said walking into the living room where all the guys had gathered. They all looked at me. Especially Steve. "Take a picture it'll last longer." I said with a laugh as Jamie and I walked out the door. The guys followed. We split us up between Darry and dals car. Jamie dal pony soda and Steve were in dals car.  Me Darry and Johnny were in Darry's car. Jamie and I were driving since we knew where we were going.  "Where are we going Sam?" Darry asked.  "We're gonna go have some fun......and revenge." I said with a sly grin. "Do I even wanna know?" Darry asked. "Not really." I said looking in the mirror so I could turn. I turned into the road I had went down so many times with James. We past his house and I seen him out in the yard with some girl. I knew they were going to the same place we were. "Why did we go this way?" Darry asked. He could probably tell where we were going now. "Had to double check something." I said.  "What are we going out dancin for anyway?" Johnny said. "Just for fun." I said. I pulled into the place got out. Jamie got out to. "There comin." She said leaning on the hood of the t-bird. I was right beside her.  "Good." I said looking at the guys as they got out of the truck. "They can't be to far behind we better get inside." I said getting off the hood and walking inside. The guys followed. "Who you dancin with?" Jamie asked me. I looked back at the guys. "Dal or Steve. Which one you think?" I asked her. We were talking where the guys couldn't hear us. "I think Steve. You and him should be going together anyway." Jamie said with a smirk. "You think Steve and I should be together?" I asked. "The whole gang does. Well except you and Steve." Jamie told me. "So we are both like oblivious to y'all thinking that? Ok ya know what I realize that now. I realize how many hints y'all have given me." I said looking back at Steve. We walked in and I told the bouncer that the guys were with me. Everyone in that place knew me by name. "James with you tonight?" The bouncer asked. "No we broke up. If he comes just don't tell him I'm here." I told him. He nodded his head and I walked on. The guys followed. "Alright I'm gonna go hunt some broads. Anyone wanna come with?" Dal asked. Two-bit agreed and went off with dal to go do some pickup routine they have done a thousand times. Jamie pointed at Steve. And jerked her head that way. I shook my head at her. Then I seen him walk in. "Show time." I said drawing out the words as I walked over to the Steve. Jamie nodded her head and walked over to soda. "Come on let's dance!" I said grabbing steves hand and pulling him out onto the dance floor just in time for a slow dance. "He's here." Steve said. I acted like I had no clue what he was talking about. "What do you mean?" I asked. "James is here. He's watching us." Steve said. "Might as well put on a little show." Steve said before I could say anything else. He held me close and danced like crazy. I could feel James eyes burning a hole in my back. Then after the slow song a super fast song came on. Me and Steve sped up the pace and danced like a couple of idiots. Out of nowhere Steve leaned in and kissed me. Then all of a sudden I fell a hand hit my back hard. I knew it was James. Steve punched him. The got into a huge fight Jamie and soda were over by me in a heart beat. "Help me up he just knocked the wind out of me. Help me up." I told Jamie. "Why? Are you crazy?" She asked. "No I need to face this." I told her standing up. "Steve. Stop. Now." I told him. Steve stopped. I walked up to James. I punched him hard. "What-what was that for?" He asked. "You know what it's for." I said coldly. James left with blood running down his face. I probably broke his nose.  Darry had run over. "Why did you face him?" "It's what I had to do. Come on guys lets go." I said grabbing steves hand and walking out the door. "Jamie Steve ride with me." I demanded as we walked to the cars. They both got in the truck with me and the rest of the gang got into the t-bird. "Has he ever hit you like that before?" Steve asked as we started driving back to my house. "All the time." I said chocking out the words. Steve looked mad. "Did soda know about this?" Steve asked. "No. No one other than Jamie knows. That was until earlier." I said watching the road. I had such a tight grip on the steering wheel that my knuckles where turning white. We soon got home and I was ready to beat someone to a pulp and so was Steve.
