3 years later...

"Calm down, you fool." Zephyr hissed at Stephan who has been pacing back and forth outside the delivery room.

Stephan let out a harsh sigh and messed up his hair. "I will fucking beat up those doctors when I had a chance to see them. They won't fucking let me in and be with my wife as she gives birth."

"It's better if you stay here than be there inside. Knowing you, you will overact once the doctor touches your Ariana." Rune stated, leaning his back against the white concrete walls of the hospital. "And besides, Jasmine is there with her."

The look on Stephan's face when Ariana started some contraction. He didn't know what to do. He nearly flew the car he's driving just to get to the hospital and to lessen the hurt in his wife's face. God, he didn't see this one coming.

Now, he knows.

The pain that mothers are encountering every childbirth.

Jesus, help my wife. Stephan prayed as he silently sat down on the seats and rested his elbows on his knees and rubbed his head.

Then suddenly, the doors from the delivery room opened. Later on, the doctor reveals. "Mr. Draco." She called.

Stephan immediately sat up from his seat and walk over to the doctor. "Is my wife okay? How's my kid?"

The doctor smiled at him and tapped his shoulder. "Congratulations, Mr. Draco. You're wife delivered your baby girl safely." She told him then burying her hands inside the pockets of the robe.

Baby girl.

Stephan felt like his whole body was dipped into an ice. He was unable to move at his spot as he just gawk at the doctor. He doesn't know what to say.

"Girl? We have a daughter?" He gasped, then a huge grin appeared in his face when they all sinked in his mind. "Can I see my wife now?"

The doctor smiled and nodded. "Your  wife passed out the minute she delivered your daughter but that's totally normal. She had a hard time bringing her out."

The thought that Ariana passed out didn't help Stephan to calm down. It made even worse.

"We are going to transfer her to a private ward you had. Your daughter will be given to you in a few hours." She told me.

"Thank you very much, Doctor." Stephan smiled happily and bowed his head slightly.

Jeez, who would know that the cold and lame chef will have a wonderful life like this? Stephan followed Ariana as the nurses transfer her upstairs towards the finest suite he bought for his wife and his new daughter.

He is the happiest man alive right now.

Stephan's POV

I stayed with my wife the whole time she's asleep. It's been two hours since she got out from the delivery room and I badly wanted to see my daughter right now. I want to hold her in my arms already and kiss her.

We are a family now.

Me. Ariana. And our little Scarlett.

Scarlett is the name that we came up when she was still in her Mom's belly. I don't know where I got it but it was the name that first popped into my mind when I thought of a girl's name.

I wonder who she looks like? I wish she had her Mother's brown and beautiful hair. God, I wish she also had her Mother's blue eyes that I loved so much.

My thoughts were cut when I heard Ariana groaned as she moves on the hospital bed. Her eyes opened and immediately searches for me.

"Hey." I sat down next to her bed and held her soft hand.

Ariana smiled weakly. "How's our child? Is she little Scarlett or little Dylan?" She asked, the color of her skin is coming back as I felt the happiness enveloped her features.

I smiled cheekily. "Little Scarlett , Doll."

Her eyes widened and grinned. "Scarlett? A baby girl? Our first born is a girl." She stated like she couldn't believe the news.

"I haven't seen her, Doll. And I'm so excited to meet her." I placed a hand over her hair and caressed it before leaning down to place a kiss on her forehead.

"Where are the others?" Ariana scanned the room.

"Jasmine and the others went down to eat. Do you want me to get you something? I'll call them."

She shook her head. "No, I'm okay." Ariana touched her slightly bump stomach and rubbed it. "I can't believe that we're a family now, Stephan. Is this really happening?"

I chuckled at her question as I playfully pinched her nose. "Ow." She slapped my hand causing for me to laugh harder.

"Yes, we are a family now." I stated, intertwining our fingers together. "I am going to do my best to give the both of the best of the best. I won't let you two suffer in my care. I love you so much, Ariana Draco. I am so happy for having you as my wife and the mother of my daughter. "

Ariana softly chuckled and crinkled her nose. "We are just the same, my love. I love you so much."

I was going to reply to her confession when the door suddenly opened.

"Good day, Mr and Mrs Draco." A pretty nurse came in holding a baby in her arms.

My heart started to beat fast, knowing that the child she is holding is my own flesh and blood.

"Here is your wonderful daughter." She handed the baby in her arms softly and carefully to Ariana. She transfer our baby very gently to my wife's arm as the nurse assists her on carrying Scarlett.

I quickly head over to my wife's side and sat there as she cradles Scarlett near her chest. The nurse leaves as soon as we are starting to get used to it.

Then when my eyes finally went to see my daughter. I didn't know but I felt that my world just stopped and my body froze at the spot. I was staring at our child so long that I can't take my eyes away from her. I don't even want to blink and miss even the slightest thing she does. Her eyes were closed and she is making soft whimper sounds.

Ariana was glowing as she stares down at her own daughter. I saw the tears forming at the side of her eyes, watching her. "Oh my God." She cried and smiled to joyfully. A smile that went up to her ears. Too elated. "Hello, Scarlett. It's me, your Momma."

I watched my two girls and the sight before me just made me so speechless. This is the best sight that I have seen in my entire life. I just want to freeze the Earth from moving this moment.

For the first time in my life, I never felt this kind of happiness.

I slightly caressed my baby girl's reddened cheeks and she started to whimper even louder. She felt her daddy's touch. And that moment, her eyes opened and I saw the most adorable and mesmerising blue eyes.

Scarlett stared back at us. But she lingered longer at her mother. It was like she is memorising every part of Ariana's face.

"Hi Scarlett." Ariana's voice cracked due to her cry. "You are so beautiful."

"The most beautiful." I corrected, glancing at the both of them. "You two are the most beautiful."

Ariana gave me a warm smile and rested her head on my shoulder as we watch our daughter together. I kissed her forehead one more then kissed our little treasure.

"I promise to protect our family, Doll." I stated, seriously. "I will do everything to make this family strong and happy. I won't let anyone hurt you and our daughter. Over my dead body. I will give you two the best of everything as well. There is no way I'm going let you to suffer and feel lonely. That's not allowed as long as I'm alive."

I really mean every word of it.

If anyone tried to hurt them, it will be the end of their life. I will protect my family and it's my duty to keep them safe in all cost.

"Thank you so much, Ariana for this." I started to say as I look at my beautiful wife. "You showed me a world that I never that that exist. The world of true happiness and love. You rescued me from my hate and you shown me how important love is. You have no idea how you saved me, my love. Thank you very much."

Ariana smiled and placed a kiss on my cheeks. "You don't know how much thankful I am to you as well, Stephan. Because of you, experienced the best. You have proven to me how much you love me. Ever since the start, you opened my eyes of my capabilities. And now, you gave me this wonderful life...together. . I love you so much."

I kissed her lovingly and sweetly. "I love you more than anything, Ariana. My Doll. I love you and our daughter so much. More than my own life. I can't thank you enough for what you have done. You gave me a second chance to prove you that I changed. And you have proven that second chances are true. You are my happiness now, Doll. You and Scarlett."

Ariana chuckled and blushed. "Want to hold her?" She changes the topic and made it even happier.

I quickly nodded "Of course!"

Ariana softly brings her out for me to carry. I was so nervous to touch such fragile body. Oh my God, she's so small and soft. Her blue eyes are still staring at me and a smile slowly formed in my daughter's lips once she lays in my arms. I can't help but to smile back at her.

"I can sense that my daughter is going to live like a princess because of you." Ariana raised an eyebrow at me.

I smirked. "You know me too well, baby."

But She returned it with a glare. "Stephan, I don't want my daughter to grow like a spoiled brat. We will teach her good manners."

"I know. We can still teach her good manners even if she is a spoiled kid." I replied innocently.

"Baby, she is not going to be spoiled. She must know how to wait and be cool to our decision." She is starting to lecture me.

I just chuckled. "Well, good luck on that one, my love. But you married a man that loves you and our daughter so much. My daughter is going have the best and I am really going to spoil her because she deserves it."

Ariana rolled her eyes at me then looked at Scarlett. "Honey, what shall I do to your stubborn father?"

I laughed loudly. I'm not stubborn. I'm just showing you how much I love our daughter.

"By spoiling her?"

"Baby, what is the sense of working this hard if I can't make her happy? My decision is final, my daughter will have the best thing in life. She will never be lonely and feel hurt." I stated. Just that thought of Scarlett crying breaks my heart already.

Ariana just shook her head. "Be thankful that your holding my girl or else I already strangled your neck." She scoffed at me.

"Well, Scarlett is our lucky charm then." I murmured and kissed my daughter again and started at her innocent tiny face.

"I love you, Mrs. Ariana Draco." I whispered to her.

"And I love you more, Mr. Stephan Draco." She whispered back, kissing me on the lips.

"I love you most." I slowly bite down her lower lip as we pulled away.

This is happiness.

True happiness.

It happens when you are finally able to fight all of your worries and your frightens. I thought I might never find love because of how horrible my past is but Ariana have proven to me that second chances really do exist and who would though I would end up like this? Married and happy. Before, I'm the worst ever.

A man who doesn't know where his life is going through. As long as I have a job, I thought I will live happily. But I was wrong. This is is how to achieve real happiness.

There is no freaking way I would go back to my old self. I will never be alone again because I have my wife and my daughter. Together.

No more loneliness.

Finally, I can finally say that I am happy.
