The next day, trains were on strike.

Manik and Nandini comes out of the railway station.

An auto came near manik.

Auto Driver : "Sir ! Do you want auto? Where do you want to go ?"

Manik : "Indian Express! Will you come by meter?"

Auto Driver : "Definitely! Please Come."

Manik sees Nandini and goes to her.

Manik : "Hello! Trains strike and Peak hours. Auto Drivers charge atleast 200 rupees. Instead of giving 200 each by going separately, let us go together. My office is next to your bank"

(Nandini didn't say anything. Manik thought she accepted to come and he goes towards auto thinking that she would come behind)

(But Nandini went towards another auto and boarded it. Manik sees this. He is worried because of her behaviour)

Auto Driver : "Sir !, Isn't she coming?"

Manik : "May be she isn't interested. Go now" (Manik says it angrily)

(The next day, Nandini is at the railway station sitting on the bench. A local train comes. Nandini gets up from her place and goes towards the train. But she sees that Manik has boarded the train. So she takes her steps backwards and sat on the same bench. Manik sees this from the train.)

The train left not before manik has got down from the train. Now Manik is coming towards Nandini who is reading a magazine)

Manik : "Excuse me!"

(Nandini looked at him)

Manik : "I'm 16 years old and you are 15. As if I gave a love letter and you tore it apart" (Manik snapped at her)

He continued "Why do you run away from me ?"

" You see ! I have to know the reason. Yesterday trains were on strike. I asked you to come in the auto but you didn't. That I can understand. It may be because you have to sit next to me in the auto. But what's wrong in travelling in the train? This is 21st Century. You are not a village girl. What's wrong if you take the same train as me ?"

Nandini : "Why should I come in the same train as you? I don't like unnecessary association and talk with anyone."

(Now Manik got even more angry)

Manik : "Even I am like that. You misunderstood me. I wanted to clear your misunderstanding. That is why I got down the train."

"I offered you a seat in the train that day and also about sharing the auto, I don't have any ill intentions behind them. We stay in same area and go to jobs by same route. And also catch the train at the same station."

"I have an account in your bank and we are from the same state. There are no ulterior motives behind me talking to you. I am not a bad person like you thin. Hats off to you. If I see you again I will turn my head to the other side."

(Saying this Manik went. Nandini as if nothing happened starts to read the magazine)

(2 months passed away. During this period, they didn't talk with each other)

(After two months)

(Manik is reading magazines in a public library. Nandini comes to the library and sat in a chair, her back facing him. Manik sees Nandini, but continues to read. Nandini while keeping her hand bag under the table looked at Manik. Their eyes met. To avoid her, Manik gets up and starts to leave)

(Nandini's hand kerchief falls in Manik's way. But Manik didn't pick it up. He crossed it and went. After Manik went, Nandini takes it.)

(Like this days passed away)
