Precap : Arav is coming from School to see Manik who is coming for lunch in afternoon.

Kalyani and Arav are coming in a bus. Yes, Kalyani will only pick up Arav from school.

Arav : "Dadi ! What is the time at which Manik Sir will come?"

Kalyani : "2'o clock"

Arav to a nearby person : "Uncle! What is the time now?"

Person : "12'o clock"

Arav sighed : "Still 2 hours left. I would have had my Table Tennis practice!" (Kalyani smiled)

(Kalyani's home)

(The door bell rings)

Manik comes to Kalyani's home with his luggages. Nandini is in home. So, she welcomes him.

Manik smiled : "Hello!"

Nandini smiled : "Hello! Please come inside"

Manik : "I thought of going to Railway station directly from here. So I vacated the room"

Nandini : "Oh! Give it to me"

Manik : "It's okay"

Nandini : "It's alright. Give it to me"

(Manik gave one bag to Nandini . Nandini takes the bag and went to Hall room and kept his bag in one corner)

(Manik who follows her also kept his another bag near it and was about to remove his shoes)

Nandini : "No need of removing shoes! You can come in like that! Please sit down"

(Manik sighed and sat on a sofa)

Manik : "Where is Arav?"

Nandini : "Mom went to bring him from school. They will be here in a moment"

Manik : "Oh!'

(Saying this, Manik started looking here and there avoiding Nandini. Even Nandini too started twisting her saree, looking here and there. Both of them were not angry at each other. Instead they started loving each other. It is very hard for them to see each other without expressing their feelings)

(In bus)

Arav saw from bus, a student from his school is going to home sitting on a bike, hugging his father from back and then and there kissing him.

Now, Arav started to imagine Manik picking him up from the school, he hugging Manik and then and there ruffling Manik's hair, enjoying the bike ride with Manik!

Arav sighed and hugged Kalyani.

(Kalyani's home)

Nandini brings the cooked dishes from Kitchen and keeping it on the dining table while Manik is sitting on the sofa waiting for Arav to have lunch with him

Manik : "Did your Mother in Law cook this?"

Nandini : "No. I did. But don't worry. It will taste like food for sure!"

Manik smiled : "It has to be. I am not joking. I didn't eat since morning since I will be coming here for lunch. Also I never tasted the food you cook! I am going to eat it for the first time !"

(Nandini became silent. But she wanted to know about his feelings. Whether he still has feelings for her?)

Nandini : "Do you still have account in the bank I worked at Mumbai?...........or did you close it?"

Manik : "How my heart permits to close it?. Account is still there. And I am not going to close it"

(Nandini looked down)

(In bus)

(Arav is peeking through the bus window and looking at the traffic jam in which the bus has got stuck. Yes a minor accident happened , and it lead to mass traffic jam. Arav is very much worried!)

(Kalyani's home)

Nandini : "If I don't say it now, then I can never say it"

She sighed and continued : "Your father came to me and talk about our marriage once. I told him that I am not interested. After that we didn't meet. After that I called you one day to speak about an important matter and asked you to come to the station. Do you know what it was about?"

Manik had an expressionless face!

Nandini continued : "To say that I am ready to marry you!"

(Manik smiled)

( But he felt thousands of butterflies in his stomach when he came to know that before 6 months she was also ready for marriage, and that too she was ready to marry him. That means she also has some feelings towards him. But what happened that day? Why she didn't come?)

(With all the questions in his mind, he just smiled at Nandini )

Nandini : "But unexpectedly my mother-in-law came to my home on the day, I called you. She said that she is alone and no one is there to take care of her and she cried holding my hands to come with her. After listening to her, I thought it is right to remain single like this. I decided to be with her forever and hence I quit the job"

(Manik is startled to know as to how much she have to bear to take this decision after deciding to get married to him)

Nandini's eyes are welled up with tears !

Nandini stammered : "I should have told you before leaving. But I don't have the courage to do that!"

(Manik just looked down)

Nandini sobbingly : "How long did you wait for me that day at the station?"

Manik : "Actually.........It's alright..Leave it"

Nandini : "I am feeling guilty till today for making you wait for me!"

She smiled and continued : "You wouldn't have asked anything even if I don't say it now. Because you are a very good person!"

(Manik sighed, since Nandini is making very difficult for him)

(In bus)

Arav is walking to and fro in the bus. Still there is traffic jam. He is asking nearby persons for the time then and there.

Arav to Kalyani : "Dadi ! Manik sir might have reached home, isn't it?"

(To which Kalyani didn't reply. Because he is asking this for the nth time)

Arav : "Tell me Dadi !" (He whinned)

(Kalyani's home)

Manik : "I have to catch the train by 4.30 p.m. I must go to the office tomorrow"

(Saying this he gets up to leave)

Nandini : "If that's the case, have your lunch and go"

Manik : "No, I will be late"

Nandini : "You didn't eat the food I cooked ! I thought you will eat it today"

Manik smiled : "Everything we hope for do not happen! This too is like that!"

(Nandini became speechless)

(In bus)

The traffic jam still exists. Arav is very much disappointed !

(Kalyani's home)

Manik with his luggages came to the doorstep and turned to Nandini

Manik : "I have to catch the train. Tell your mother-in-law not to misunderstand me. I will take your leave now"

(Saying this Manik was about to leave, when something strike his mind)

Manik : "Oh! I am sorry! I forgot. I bought this for Arav. Give it to him"

(Saying this he handed over a gift packet to her. Nandini accepted it)

Nandini : "Arav was eagerly waiting for you. All this was done by him, specially for you"

(Saying this she showed Manik the Welcome Board prepared by Arav)

(Manik sighed and left)

The traffic jam cleared and Arav came running to home inspite of Kalyani's instructions to go slowly who is following him. He checks all the rooms and finally came to Nandini)

Arav : "Mom ! Did he went already or didn't he come yet?"

Nandini : "He came and waited for you. But he was getting late to catch the train, so he left. He asked me to give you this"

(Saying this she gave the gift to Arav, while Arav excitedly took it and went to his room)

Kalyani to Nandini : "I never saw such traffic before this in the city!"

When Arav opened the gift, he saw a watch. Yes, it is a Watch that Manik presented him!

Arav smile widened seeing it.

He opened his cupboard and took a certificate. The certificate states that he is the winner in Table Tennis . His smile dropped. He took the certificate and came to Nandini.

Arav : "Mom ! I wanted to show these certificates to Manik sir. I skipped the Table Tennis practice to see him. Everything is waste"

(Saying this he hugged Nandini and cried)

Arav while hugging looked at Nandini : "Mom!"

Nandini softly : "Arav! Don't cry ! Calm down and don't cry"

(Nandini wiped his tears. By this time, Kalyani came to the room where Arav is hugging Nandini and crying)

Arav sobbingly : "Mom ! I wanted to show him how I ride bicycle without holding the handle. But he left without seeing it! He would have stayed back if he loves me"

(Seeing Arav misunderstanding Manik, Nandini could not hold it more. She kneel down to Arav level, hugged him and patted his back)

Nandini : "Nothing like that! He loves you a lot. That is why, he bought you a gift"

(By this time, Nandini's eyes are also welled up with tears)

She continued : "He said that he will come to Chennai again. Then he will come to see you. Or sometimes, when we happened to go to Mumbai, I will surely take you to his home"

(Saying this Nandini wiped his tears. Arav released himself from the hug and removed her hand)

Arav sobbingly : "You always say that but never do. What did you tell me the other day? You, Me, that Dadu and Dadi, Manik sir can live in the same home"

(Sensing Kalyani's presence Nandini tried to stop him)

Nandini : "Arav" (But Arav didn't stopped)

Arav sobbingly : "But you forgot everything when this Dadi came to our home. No, I won't believe you no matter what you say!"

(Kalyani stands rooted to her place in shock. Her eyes widened. Arav may not understood the meaning of living in the same home. But Kalyani understood everything)

(Nandini's decision of living with Manik and his family in same home with Arav, Arav's limitless affection towards Manik and the happenings till now made her understand)

Nandini eyes pooled up with tears, hugging Arav and looked at Kalyani who is standing with a expressionless face!
