Redbane

Raiden made love to Jewels one more time in the wee hours of the morning.  Afterwards he cleans her up and tucks her into bed.  Raiden got ready to see his ministers to make sure the contract was ready for the Rowen's to sign.  Before he left, he kissed her on her forehead and left Roku to guard her.  For the first time in his life, he felt a peace he did not know could exist.  He felt a happiness that filled him up from head to toe.  He felt a lightness to himself that surprised even his closest bodyguards.  And for the first time, since they started serving him, they seen him smile on his own accord as he was lost in thoughts of last night's activities. 

Jewels woke up earlier then she would like, but not having Raiden beside her, she couldn't go back to sleep.  Feeling annoyed, she took a shower and changed her bed sheets herself before  Zeze saw and started asking questions.  Afterwards, she made her way to the dining room where she met her Uncle and Pop pop for breakfast.  Everyone was excited for their future.  As Jewels told Pop pop that he could take as many books he would like, because she could carry them in her grey space and no one would know the wiser. 

After breakfast, she sent word to her Master through their messaging system of an enchanted insect that could change itself into the letter that was sent.  She told him of her success at Madewell Tournament as well as her success at Sky Ship and that she has a present for him when they see each other.  She asked him to help scout for a mansion close to the palace because she intends to purchase it.  She told him of Raiden and her plan to get married in three years and not to tell anyone, until it can be announced.  She then sent her love to Fudo and her greetings to Nobu.  She sent the messenger and saw it fly towards the direction of Redbane. 

By the time she finished, Riaden and the Rowen's were in Uncle Jude's study going over the contract between Raiden and  the Rowen's.  Jewels came in just as both sides looked through the contract.  When Duchess Rowen was happy with it, she signed her name and stamped it with an official seal of the Rowen Clan.  Raiden also signed the contract and stamped it with a Royal Osamu Clan seal.  They switched the copied contract and again signed their names.  This transaction was done in front of witnesses from all three nations as Raiden brought all four ministers while Duchess Rowen brought, two ministers and Uncle Sam and Aunt Nora.  While, Uncle Jude, Pop pop and Jewels represented Madewell.  Once both contracts were signed, Raiden and Duchess Rowen shook hands as Duchess Rowen pulled Raiden into a hug.

"You are now my Grandson, please treat my Granddaughter well."

"I will." Raiden told her.

Both families had to go to the palace for more peace talks so they left the Brooks Manor. 

"Lets start packing shall we?"  Jewels suggested. "Anything you want to keep but think its too big to move, let me know and I'll put it in my grey space."

"Library." Pop pop first said. 

Jewels laughed and went to the library to start putting the books in to her grey space library.  Jewels spent a good portion of the day putting the books in her grey space.  When she finally finished, she went down stairs for a late lunch and found Uncle Jude going though documents in his study. 

"Is everything okay?" Jewels asked.

"These are important documents, can you put them in a safe place in your grey space?"

"Of course, I even built a safe for this every reason." Jewels told him as he handed her the stack of documents.

"Don't read them." Uncle Jude told her.

"I won't."

Jewels waves her hand and the documents disappeared right in front of his face.

"Anything else?" Jewels asked him.

"I'll let you know when I do find something that needs safe keeping." 

"Okay. Have you had lunch yet?" Jewels asked.  "I'm having Zeze make a light lunch for us if you would like to join and take a break from all of this."

"That sounds lovely." Uncle Jude said as he got up from the chair and walked to his wheelchair.

"Uncle Jude!" Jewels cried happily.  "You can walk like normal now!"

Jewels runs towards him and he opens his arms to hug her tightly.

"All thanks to you." Uncle Jude told her.

"No, this is a team effort.  Its all thanks for everyone's hard work that you are able to walk."

Uncle Jude nods his head once and lets her go.  He lets her push him to the dining room.  Pop pop was already sitting in his spot in the dining table.  Jewels kissed Pop pop on the cheek and sits in her spot. 

"Did you see the library?" Jewels asked him.

"Hmm.... all gone." Pop pop said.  "Good."

They all enjoy their lunch together talking and laughing while looking forward to the future.

Three weeks later

The day of the 4 Kingdoms Peace Talk, everything goes as planned.  They all worked and compromised and agreed to new rules, laws and regulations. There were no heated disputes that would last for days.  King Jonas made a very beautiful speech about the importance of keeping peace between the 4 Kingdoms and the importance of livelihood of every citizen in every kingdom.  He reminded everyone, that the next peace talk would be held in 5 years and will be hosted in Redbane Kingdom. Then he dismissed everyone involved in the Peace Talks to accompany him to the ceremonial hall to celebrate.  When everyone entered the hall, it was Prince Ivan that made his first move.

"I would like to make an announcement," Prince Ivan said as he stood up. "I would like to announce the annulment of my engagement to Lady Maria Brooks for the reasons of nonexistent cultivation and nonexistent skills.  We have hired many doctors to attend Lady Maria to see if she could have a full recovery, unfortunately, she is unable to recover the use of her dantains and thus with a heavy heart, I must annul this  engagement and declare my new fiancee Lady Fiona Wester, daughter to Minister Theo Wester and Lady Mary Wester. Lady Fiona is the top 15 winner of Madewell Tournament and survivor of Sky Ship. She will be a good Princess Consort and be a strong future Queen of Madewell."

The room clapped and toasted the new couple as the two of them stood up to receive the congratulatory toast.  When they sat down, it was Raiden who stood up next, surprising everyone.

"This Prince Raiden, has some words this Prince would like to announce as well.  This Prince would also like to announce the annulment of this Prince's engagement to Princess Anna of Mulberry."

Princess Anna and two of her ministers gasped in shock.

"This Prince would annul the engagement for the reasons of attempted murder and espionage of a Madewell citizen. "

Everyone in the room quieted down and listened.

"Princess Anna, sent several spies to the Madewell Kingdom to find information on this Prince's golden gift.  After finding information of the Prince's golden gift, Princess Anna and her maids attempted to murder this Prince's golden gift on the night of the first Madewell Tournament in this very hall.  Here are the proof of that this Prince speaks of."  Raiden said as he handed the proof off to a servant of Duchess Rowen and then he handed it off to her.

"With this annulment, this Prince would announce a new engagement to this Prince's golden gift, Lady Jemma 'Jewels' Brooks of Madewell. Daughter of General Harvey Brooks and Iris Rowen of Madewell.  Niece to General Jude Brooks of Madewell.  Granddaughter to the great Professor Jordan Brooks of Madewell.  Granddaughter to Duke Harper Rowen and Duchess Ivy Rowen of Mulberry, Niece to Duke Sam Rowen and Duchess Nora Rowen of Mulberry. Lady Jewels is the top 15 winner of Madewell Tournament and survivor of Sky Ship. She will be a good Princess Consort for Redbane Kingdom and be a strong future Queen of Redbane."

The crowd was quiet at first, but with Duchess Rowen and Uncle Jude's help, the crowd cheered and toasted the new couple and Jewels stood up with Raiden as accepted the congratulatory toast and they toasted them back.

Princess Anna, who couldn't accept the situation, ran towards Raiden and Jewels and threw herself down to the ground, begging Raiden to reconsider.

"Please my Beloved.  It was a mistake.  A mistake. I did not mean to do so!" She said as she cried. "I heard rumors about your golden gift and had to know if you fell in love with her.  And I was right to worry!  Look at how you're now engaged with her! Please forgive me!  Please!  I have wronged you and your golden gift.  I have now learned my lesson.  Please don't annul this engagement!  Mulberry Kingdom needs this alliance just as much as Redbane Kingdom needs this alliance!" 

"This Prince's Redbane Kingdom is doing just fine.  Redbane Kingdom does not need a future Queen who plots murder and espionage.  It would be a disservice to the Redbane Kingdom should you become it's Queen.  This Prince's golden gift is the correct woman to become Queen."

Princess Anna cried even harder.  Her tears fell down her face as her shoulders shake.

"But I love you, Prince Raiden.  I love you so much!" 

"That is not this Prince's problem.  How can you love this Prince when you don't even know anything about this Prince."

"I know! I know you!" Princess Anna said through tears.  "I know you better than anyone else.  All I have ever done is watch you from afar.  I know you better than I know myself!"

"Then you should have known not to touch this Prince's golden gift.  You should have known not to even think about this Prince's golden gift.  You should have known to never breath in the direction of this Prince's golden gift."

"I know." Princess Anna said dejectedly.

"Then know, that this engagement is over, there is nothing you can say or do to change this Prince's mind."

Princess Anna cries even louder as she melted to the ground.  Jewels felt bad for her because she also knew how it felt to lose someone you love and had your complete faith and trust that you put in that person throw it away and walk all over it in front of everyone.  Princess Anna's maids came to pull her off the floor and help her stand.  A Mulberry guard came and carried her out of the Hall and when the door closed, Minister Roses came to cause a scene.

"How dare you treat your fiancee like that!  She is an innocent and you destroyed her!  King Greg Roses of Mulberry will hear of this offense and you and Redbane Kingdom will pay for a gift of appeasement."

"Minister Roses needs to calm down and collect yourself." Prince Raiden said coldly. "Minister Roses needs to think before Minister Roses loses his head.  You will watch your tone when you speak to this Prince!"

"Watch my tone! Ha! I will not do such a thing!  I will say what I want to say for you have wronged my niece, Princess Anna of Mulberry!  You will pay for this, I promise you that!"

"Did you just threatened this Prince?" Raiden said as he stepped forward. 

"So what if I did!" Minister Roses shouted. "What are you going to do about it!"

Raiden grabbed the Minister Roses neck with one hand and starts to choke him, raising him up high off the ground.

"Who are you but a lowly Minister who only became a Minister due to your blood, who are you to question this Prince and threatened this Prince?  Let this Prince correct you before this Prince takes your life. This Prince has already been in contact with your King.  King Greg of Mulberry.  Your King knows of this annulment and has accepted the annulment with grace. For this Prince has given the gift of appeasement for the broken engagement already, the gift, is the gift of life to Princess Anna, even with her offense to this Prince. This Prince has been magnanimous enough to over look Princess Anna's offense and has given her, her life in return.  Do you not think that is a great gift in itself?" Raiden said as he squeezed his neck harder. "You, on the other hand, this Prince shall not be as magnanimous towards you. This Price will grant you a death only this Prince can provide."

With Raiden's last words, he electrocuted Minister Roses in front of everyone.  Minister Roses voice rang out throughout the hall, chilling everyone to the bone.  A cold front traveled through the room, slowly freezing everyone.  When they breathed, they could see their breaths in front of them.  An oppressive cold air, pushes down on everyone in the room as Minister Roses screamed for his life.  Instead of killing him quickly, Raiden took his time increasing the voltage of his shock slowly so Minister Roses's scream was like a crescendo.  When Minister Roses lost his voice, it was only then that Raiden snapped his neck with his hand.  A quietness in the Hall took over after the sound of Minister Roses falling down to the ground. A stillness with everyone there made it seem like they have been in a trance.  As if they moved, they would have drawn Raiden's attention and nobody there wanted that. 

"Darling, let us leave this place, I'm bored." Jewels said as he walked towards Raiden and grabbed his hand.  The cold receded and everyone felt like they could slowly breath again.

"Foolish Minister." Jewels said. "Talking so big as if he could beat you, now look at him.  He's nothing. He was always nothing in the beginning, now he is truly nothing now."

Raiden took Jewels out of the Ceremonial Hall and took his carriage to Brooks Manor where Raiden took her to her room and locked the door.  He quickly strips her clothing and he was such in a rush that all he could do was take his pants down low enough to free himself and pins her against the door as he thrusts into her hard, quick and fast.  Jewels took him in greedily. Wrapping her legs around him as he pounds into her harshly.  His hands pins her hands above her head as he pistons himself in and out of her.  His kisses consumes her, demanding obedience, owning her.  And Jewels gives. Raiden is spent, his energy, gone. His rage, gone. The burning heat in his veins, gone.  All this thoughts, gone.  His concerns, gone.  They were all taken away by Jewels.  His knees gives out and they slide down to the floor.  Jewels landing on her butt, while Raiden kneels in front of her.  His whole body leaning against her, pining her to the door.  Jewels shimmies herself onto his leg and wraps herself tighter around him, holding him closer to her.  Their fronts touching each other intimately.  Jewels lets Raiden catch his breath before, she starts kissing his face.  She placed butterfly kisses, following his eyebrow and the ridge of his nose.  She kissed his high cheek bone and the lobe of his ear, before nibbling it a little then made her way down his jaw line and up on the other side of his face.  She followed  his jaw line to his ear, across his cheek bone to the ridge of his nose again and back over his eyebrow. 

When she finished, his eyes were closed and he looked relaxed.

"Ready to get into bed?"  Jewels asked him.

"Hmm." He replied.

Jewels got off of him and helped him stand up.  She led him to the bed as she crawled in first and he came into bed behind her.  He scooped her up from behind with his arms and held her close to him as he wrapped one of his legs around her pinning her legs together. 

They fell asleep, spooning each other. Later that evening, Jewels woke up with Raiden between her aready wet lower lips.  He enters her from behind and she opens up to him.  He takes advantage of this and moves his hand over the nub between her legs and plays with it. Raiden kisses her neck then scoops her up and walks to the bathroom.  They take their time washing up and getting dressed.  They make their way down the already empty house that is a lot emptier and walk to the dining room where the whole family has gathered for their last supper in Brooks Manor.  The Rowen's Clan, plan to go back to Mulberry Kingdom the next morning as Raiden and his minsters along with Jewels and her small family plan to leave tomorrow as well.

They made several toasts and ate well.  They laughed and talked and teased some more before, Duchess made Raiden promise to come visit Mulberry Kingdom with Jewels so she can visit her other side of the family.  At the end, the Rowen did not stay for tea and left so they could wake up early to leave on their journey back to their home kingdom.  Everyone else also turned in early and Jewels got ready for bed as Raiden  waited for her in her bed. Once she crawled into his arms, they instinctively wrap their limbs together bringing them closer as their private parts touched each other.  With one move, Raiden enters her and stills himself.

"You're so wet."  He commented.

"Hmm." Jewels hummed. 

Instead of moving he stays planted inside of her as they talk about the future.

"Since you put almost everything belonging to your family inside your grey space, we can all travel lighter and faster."Raid said as he looked into her blue violet eyes.

"Hmm."

"Are you sorry to be leaving?"

"No." Jewels said as she gasped for air.  Her inner walls already contracting.  "Looking forward to it."

"Good."

"Good."  Jewels moans. "You feel so good."

"Keep your mind on the current matter, we're talking here." Raiden teased.

"The current matter is that you're inside of me and I'm not really listening to you right now because, let me reiterate myself, you're inside me."

Her inner wall started tightening around his growing penis, and they both moan.

"If you wanted to talk you shouldn't have placed yourself inside me." Jewels told him.  "We can always talk tomorrow."

"Tomorrow."  Raiden agreed as he pumped into her. He loved to hear her moan and scream his name. He made her call out his name four times throughout the night, before he let her rest for the long journey ahead.

There were no tearful goodbyes from the main house, not even a goodbye from anyone inside.  They all hid within the manor and watched by the window as everyone in Landfill wing ascend the carriages and one by one, each carriage left Brooks Manor and made their way to Redbane. 

Their journey to Redbane was a travel holiday, with several stops along the way for picnics and stops into bigger towns to visit the market. What would have taken 3 weeks journey took them a month and a half of lollygagging along the countryside enjoying the scenery. Everyone was enjoying themselves too much to really care about making it to the capital of Redbane in a hurry.  Along the way, the citizens of Redbane greeted Prince Raiden with respect and smiles.  Everyone bowed and shouted their loyalty towards the crown.  There were no concern for highwaymen or thieves because their laws are really strict.  If you were a thief or highwayman and got caught, they would take an hand for stealing and a foot for running.  If you broke any laws, there were public whippings to public hangings.  So hardly anyone broke the law. 

When they finally reached Aka, the capital of Redbane, the people were celebrating in the streets and King and Queen Osamu greeted their son, the Crown Prince Raiden Osamu and his Princess Consort Jewels Brooks at the entrance of the city.  Raiden made sure that he and Jewels rode on his horse as they got closer to the city so everyone could see the Prince and Princess Consort.  Uncle Jude and Pop pop rode their own horses as well following Prince Raiden.  Prince Raiden's guards rode in a semicircle around the group as the carriages and the ministers rode behind them. 

When they reached the King and Queen, Raiden jumped off and helped Jewels come down from the horse as they came towards the King and Queen and bowed to them.

"King Father and Queen Mother, your son, Prince Raiden has come back safely with success."

King Michio grunts loudly and looks at Jewels's bowed figure.

"I can see you have succeeded."

"My son, Princess Consort, please do not stand on ceremony, please, let this mother see her son."

Raiden stood up straight and pulled Jewels up so she could stand. Queen Akane pulled her son into her embrace before letting go and looked him up and down.

"Your skin seems to be brighter and tanner. It must be the Princess Consort who has put color into your skin."

"Your Highness is too kind, this golden gift has not done anything to complement."

"Of course you have!  You are my golden gift!  And my golden gift has gifted me a most valuable gift.  One so valuable, this son will now give to King Father and Queen Mother." Raiden said as he signaled for Ichi to bring the Redwood box lined with dried moss, in it lied the 1000 year old ginseng that Raiden asked from Jewels to give to his parents. He wasn't willing to give up the one she gave him, but knew his parents would accept her easier, if he presented one to them.  When they opened it, both of them gasped in awe.

"King Father, Queen Mother, my golden gift has the ability to find the 1000 year old ginseng in the Sky Ship and brought it back with the intentions of giving it to Redbane to increase Redbane's honor and prestige."

"King Father and Queen Mother welcomes Princess Consort Jewels Brooks with open arms." King Michio said.

"Princess Consort greets King Father and Queen Mother with respect and love.  Princess Consort will work hard to live up to King Father and Queen Mother magnanimity  and grace."

After their greetings, Uncle Jude and Pop pop were introduced to the King and Queen, then they made their way to the Palace for a celebration.  The celebration was elaborate and long winded.  Jewels quickly got bored, so she went into her grey space to do something productive.

Jewels was able to start a garden in her grey space.  She planted rare pants and watched as they grew twice as fast and twice as healthy than if they were planted outside of the grey space.  Jewels tended to her garden and had Fenghuang as her look out to see if anything happened at the celebration, Fenghuang would tell her and she would come back to her body to deal with the situation.  Jewels was able to weed the whole garden before Fenghuang warned her that the ceremonial part was over and that she needed to go back quickly. 

Jewels came back to the ending of the last performers and was able to clap alongside everyone when they performers exited the stage.  Jewels accepted the teacup that Raiden passed to her. 

"This tea will help rejuvenate you."  Raiden told her. Jewels smiles at him and thanks him before taking a sip of the tea.  It tasted good, but it did not rejuvenate her.  As the feast continued, more and more congratulatory toast from different ministers and noblemen were sung and every time Raiden took a sip of wine, Jewels took a sip of the tea.  The celebration lead ran itself into the night.  The wine poured freely and the small dishes of food came constantly. All Jewels could do was eat, drink and listen to everyone around her.  On occasion, she would speak to Raiden or excuse herself to go use the bathroom.  When she did, he would guide her to the bathroom and walk with her back.  Jewels did not understand his unusual behavior, bur she didn't want to question him in front of servants and in front of ministers.  

No one was allowed to talk to Jewels or approach her.  Anytime anyone approached her, Raiden would oppress them with his killing intent that they would stop in their tracks and turn around right away.  It did not matter if the person was a close friend, a minister or even his father's concubine.  He did not want anyone to come near Jewels or talk to her.  

Jewels was fine with this.  She didn't want to get to know anyone and have the possibility of them using her or her family to hurt Raiden.  Jewels sat next to Raiden with a pleasant smile on her face the whole time.  Her manners were impeccable and her demeanor gentle.  Everyone there thought she was like a beautiful untouchable flower that would be a great Princess Consort to the striking, rough and cold Prince. It would not be until three years later that they will find out that she is just as striking, rough, and cold just like their Prince.
