Grand Master

Jewels hears thunder roaring closer and closer to her and when the loudest thunder roared, lightning struck her. It traveled down her body and through her. Hitting the water as it spreads through out the pool, electrocuting her. Jewels lost count after eight lightning strikes as her body falls backwards and Jewels tries her best to concentrate on her breathing and her cultivation of energy. Refusing to fall into an unconsciousness state, Jewels opens her eyes to see the dark cloud above her and the lightning coming towards her. Over and over it strikes her and over again over she withstands the lightning strike. The pool of enchanted spring water glowed a warm red as Jewels's blood, bleeds into the pool. The lightning finally stopped and the cloud disappeared. The enchanted spring water and Jewels's blood mix, Jewels pulls the enchanted blood that held her energy back into her. All of her wounds that she sustained healed as the glow of the red pool slowly faded. It was over and Jewels survived through it. She didn't feel any different. Her mind started shutting down and her eyes closed.

When she woke up Raiden was in bed with her. He held her in his arms as she studies his sleeping face. She missed him so much. A day away felt like a year to her. Her hand came up to touch his eyebrow when she stops half way there. Her skin glowed gold. In the darkness of the night, she could see how there was a faint golden light that came from her hand. Jewels slowly pulls away from Raiden and gets up from the bed. Making her way to the mirror, she takes off her clothes and watches as her whole body had a faint golden light come from it.

"Holy cow. I am literately his golden gift." Jewels says to herself as she turned around to see if her back glowed just like the front.

Jewels walks back into bed and crawls next to Raiden. He wakes up for a second, still groggy.

"You're awake." Raiden said in relief.

"Go back to sleep." Jewels said. "We can talk tomorrow."

Raiden puts his head back on to the pillow and falls fast asleep. Jewels curls herself on top of him, like she usually does and also lets herself go. Wanting to deal with everything the next day.

When she woke up, Raiden was still asleep and the world outside was still quiet. Jewels woke him up with her skillful hands. She placed him right above her entrance and sat down slowly. His hand grabs her waist, guiding her on to him. They kissed, touched, caressed and rubbed each other to make up for the time they lost when they were apart. They cried each other's names in pleasure and held each other afterwards.

"Tell me." Raiden asks her.

Jewels proceeds to tell him of her time in Nemea. How she, Fenghuang and Roc helped Nemean win back his throne and save his family. She tells them of the three generation extermination of the traitors. How she had a hand in helping Nemean kill them to help lessen his burden. How she only stayed their for two weeks, but here, a year had passed by already.

"I'm glad you're back." Raiden told her.

"Me too." Jewels said as she kissed Raiden. "Now it's your turn."

When Jewels and Raiden went downstairs it was lunch time and Uncle Jude and Pop pop were eating lunch. They got up from their seats and run towards Jewels and hugged her. By the time she came back from the palace, they were asleep already. Instead of waking them up, she went into her grey space to breakthrough to Grand Master. She left word with Fenghuang and Roc to tell her Uncle and Pop pop what happened at the palace and why she needed to become Grand Master right away then she laid down in bed and went into her grey space.

Jewels found out she was in a coma for a week and a half. The peace meeting was in two days and everyone was getting nervous because Jewels did not wake up.

"I can feel the difference." Uncle Jude told her. "I can see the difference."

"Me too." Pop pop said as they sat down for lunch.

"I don't feel any different." Jewels told them truthfully.

"Maybe that's a good thing." Raiden chimed in.

"Maybe." Jewels agrees.

After lunch she goes into her training room to test out her new strength and powers with Fenghuang and Roc. After two hours of sparring, Jewel could keep up with both of them, but together, tag teaming her, she was still too weak.

"It'll take time for you to surpass us." Fenghuang told her. "But you'll get there with more training and conditioning. You'll be able to stand on top of the world as the only Grand Master of this time."

"Are you trying to trick me into unbinding our contract?" Jewels asks her. "I thought that I would stand on top of the world when I make the Infinite Healing Potion? Not when I'm Grand Master as you just said."

"Can't a girl try to get out of our contract?"

"Can't a phoenix keep her word?" Jewels threw back at her.

"That was a low blow." Fenghuang laughed back at her.

"Women." Roc said as he smiled.

Jewels made it a point to visit her Master that afternoon. She knew she was going to get into a lot of trouble and get punished, but she still headed there with Roku.

"I don't really need a babysitter now that I'm Grand Master." Jewels told him.

"Yes, well, seeing that you can beat me several times over, heal me, then beat me again all the while drinking tea. Lets just humor our Prince's state of mind that I'm here protecting you, shall we?"

"Sure, sure." Jewels reluctantly agrees. "I bet you missed me when I was gone."

"I miss the trouble you attracted where ever you went. It made life more interesting."

"I bet it did." Jewels smiled back.

When they arrived at Master Doku's house, it was Fudo who opened the gate doors.

"Jewels!" He yelled in surprise. When he did, Master Doku and Nobu came running out from the house.

"Where have you been young disciple?" Doku lectured as he reached them.

"Lets go inside shall we?" Jewels tells them.

Before they could talk, Jewels had already handed them each a gift. In the gift was a stalk of the Crescent Burst, Bluebells Purse, Yellow String Sprig and White Bags Leaf. The four herbs were rare herbs that was hard to find in the 4 Kingdoms, but she harvested them from her garden and packed them nicely to give to them.

"Please forgive this young disciple. As you heard already by now, this disciple has three animals to call. This disciple had a golden lion that needed this disciple's help right away and so without having enough time to let Master and senior disciples know, this young disciple left without a word. During this disciples journey, this disciple found these rare herbs and harvested them for the sole purpose of giving it to Master and senior disciples in hopes that you forgive this young and naive disciple and welcome this disciple back into your arms." Jewels said as she knelt on the floor. Her head bowed slightly down as if she was really repentant of her wrongdoings.

"As long as young disciple knows her wrongs and wishes to really repent, then what can this Master say to my young disciple." Master Doku said as he kept petting the herbs in the box.

"Yes, yes." Nobu agreed. "Master is right. Young disciple is rash and full of passion like her youth. Going on adventures is a way to grow and learn. You must keep Master in mind next time and tell him you are leaving."

"Of course. Senior Disciple Nobu is correct. This young disciple will keep your words of wisdom close to this disciple's heart."

"Rise, Aku Kimiko." Doku said. "Come. Sit."

Jewels gets up and sits down next to her Master.

"I have heard that you appeared in front of the King and Queen during an assembly and gave those old fogies a hard tongue lashing. Calling them a coward and sell outs! Ha! I wish I was there to see that!" Doku laughed. "You then declared that within two weeks you would breakthrough and become Grand Master. Why are you here now if that is the case?"

Jewels removes the Infinite Galaxy power barrier and shows them her true power.

"Wow." Fudo said.

"Ohhhh." Nobu said.

"Ahhh." Doku sqeeked.

Jewels placed the power barrier back on her.

"I must hide my strength first and surprise them when it is the best moment."

Doku laughed heartily. "Yes, Yes, Aku Kimiko you will surely live up to your name."

Two Days later

When Raiden and Jewels arrived to the peace meeting, Raiden looked dashing in his all black warrior armor, while Jewels wore her blue dragon skin armor. Together they looked formidable. When they walked in, they were 30 minutes late to the meeting. The fuming Theraland Representatives were ready to declare war, but the peace makers kept trying to convince them to calm down.

"What took you so long." The first Theraland representatives yelled. "The meeting was supposed to start 30 minutes ago!"

"This Prince has arrived on time." Prince Raiden told them. "Is that not correct, my heart?"

"Of course, my love."

"What's this?" The second Therland representative said. "The Madewell trash standing by your side, how laughable."

"You shall watch your tongue or I will take it out for you." Jewels said as a hot heat wave entered the room. Both guards on each side feeling the pressure and the danger that came from her.

Both representatives stood up quickly. "No one threatens us and lives to tell the tale!" The second one said again.

"We have started on---" the peace maker started to say.

"Shut up." Jewels told him and he did. "Kneel." Jewels ordered everyone in the room to kneel and everyone in the room who was not a Redbane soldier kneeled. Jewels and Raiden stood looking down on everyone. The peace makers who were sitting in their chair fell forward and knelt as well.

"Let me make this straight. Redbane will not bend to Theraland. Redbane will not fold to Theraland. Redbane will not retreat nor Redbane will not hide. We will only advance forward. Shall this meeting fail and war is declared, it is up to you what you decide. For the very moment you deny the offer we give you, this Madewell Trash shall bring a rain of fire over your Theraland citizens and they'll wonder why the sky is raining fire."

The oppressive air fills them making it hard to breath.

"First and foremost, Theraland will make a formal apology for the dispute on the boarder and gift us a gift of appeasement of 3,000,000 gold coins for the misunderstanding. Second, Theraland will confess to its evil deeds of releasing shadow spies into Redbane, breaking the 4 Kingdom Peace Treaty by gathering information of Redbane through the shadow spies, killing innocent farmers and their livestock who lived on the boarder and stealing their livestock as well. I'm sure there are more crimes you committed to Redbane and our citizen's so you will confess all your crimes that you committed in the last 20 years as well. Third. Theraland citizens are not allowed onto Redbane at any time. If seen or caught on Redbane Kingdom, their life is forfeit, no questions asked. Fourth. Should any disputes happen on the boarder between Redbane farmers and Theraland farmers, Redbane farmers are always in the right. Should the dispute get bigger. I will kill every boarder farmer and their family and slit the throat of every livestock there. I don't care for Theraland and your people. So I suggest you move them to a different location. Last but not least, should you even try to look at Redbane's way or even breath in the direction of Redbane. I will bring a rain of fire on to Theraland and burn you to the ground." Jewels tells them as her whole body lights itself on fire. Her hair flowed as she walked toward the group of people around the table. Jewels releases her power barrier and lets everyone there know just how strong she is. Fenghuang's whole body lights on fire too as lightning wraps itself around Roc's body. Raiden stands there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"And you wanted me to marry your Theraland Princess? Ha! What a joke. As if my Princess Consort is lesser to her."

Jewel comes to the table and as she walks closer to them, her killing intent intensifies and they all cower at her feet. Jewels lays down the peace deal and pushes it over the Theraland representatives.

"Sign now or all your people dies."

Jewels lets go of the oppressive feeling, just a little so they can sign the peace deal. With shaky hands both representatives signs the deal and stamps the Theraland seal on the papers. Four copies were made and four copies were signed. Each copy going to their perspective kingdoms.

"Now that this is done. You have 6 hours to get off Redbane Kingdom. Or I will kill you on sight." Jewels tells them, letting go of the hot oppressive feeling that they were held under.

Jewels and Raiden made their way out of the room. From behind them, Jewels can hear them speaking.

"A Grand Master. Did you see? Princess Consort Jewels is a Grand Master. We must tell our King."

By the next morning, word has already spread throughout the 4 Kingdoms that Jewels is now the level of Grand Master. In front of her estate was a crowd of people who wanted to have a look at the first Grand Master in several centuries. When they started blocking the traffic, Jewels's guards had to shoo the people away who had no business being there.

After breakfast, Raiden left to go back to the palace as Jewels, Uncle Jude, and Pop pop sat around their sitting room drinking their tea.

"I have all the ingredients." Jewels tells them. "I can start refining the potion. But before I do, I just want to take a couple of days off and do nothing."

Pop pop sets his cup down and hold her hand in his. "My darling, you take off as many days as you like. Pop pop has waited over 20 years, a couple more days won't hurt.

Jewels hugs her Pop pop before bidding them goodbye.

"I'll be back in three days." Jewels tells them.

Jewels flew to Raiden's courtyard and surprised him when she showed up. She spent her three days there with him. The both of them never leaving the room.

When Jewels came back, she greeted her Uncle and Pop pop before going upstairs to her room and shutting the door and locking it.

In her grey space, held all the gems and stones she needed for the Infinite Healing Potion. Taking all of the gems and stones from the safe, she brings them out to the refining shed and places them on the table. She held each gem and stone in her hand and infused them with her inner energy. The biggest component to making the Infinite Healing Potion is the huge amount of inner energy the herbalist needs to infuse into the stones and gems. The inner energy helps heals the patients from the inside out. When she finished, Jewels filled the largest cauldron up with water and placed the Raven's Wood inside. She stirred the pot until the Raven's Wood melted and the water became thicker. She dropped the white pearl in first, while stirring the concoction she placed the five star gem. After that she put in the green emerald, the red ruby, then sea blue sapphire and lastly the black jade leaf. The concoction boiled for several hours, its color changing every time. The gems and stones releasing its healing properties into the water. After half a day passed did Jewels felt it was the right time to to take it off the fire. Jewels placed the cauldron by the side of the room and let it cool down for three days.

In three days, the mixture of the potion was a light pink color. There was no scent to the potion as Jewels stood over it. Bringing a barrel of water into the refining shed, she took a drop of the Infinite Healing Potion with a pipette and put that one drop into the barrel of water. When the drop of Infinite Healing Potion dropped into the water, the water turned a light green color. Jewels took a large stirring spoon she, that she created in the grey space and stirred the barrel. Taking a crystal flask, she fills it up with the Infinite Healing Potion and walks outside. Fenghuang and Roc were standing there waiting for her.

"Is that it?" Roc asked.

"Yes." Jewels tells them

"Lets try it." Fenghuang said.

Jewels takes out her dagger and slits her arm open, slightly. As her blood flowed, Jewels takes the potion and drips it over the wound. The wound slowly closes up and soon the blood stops flowing. Jewels wipes her hand over her arm where the wound used to be and there was nothing there anymore, it was as if she never cut herself.

Fenghuang hugs her tightly, tears falling down her face.

"You did it. You finally did it."

"Those tears of happiness are not because I was successful at making the Infinite Healing Potion, but they are tears in celebration because I'm about unbind you from the contract, right?"

Fenghuang laughs and hits Jewels lightly.

"Yeah, I'm happy to not be in contract with you too."

In the events of the next few days, Jewels was able to heal Pop pop completely. Giving him the Infinate Healing Potion to drink and clearing his dantians with the soul stones. When she finished, Pop pop couldn't stop talking, his 20 year sentence of thoughts and ideas flowed out of him as he locked himself in his blacksmith shop for days at a time, with Jewels and Zeze sending meals to his blacksmith shop and dragging him back inside the house for dinner with the family. Everything in her house was right. Everything in Redbane was right. Everything in Jewels's life was right.

That night Raiden brought up the tutor for her to start learning about Redbane history, culture and etiquette.

"I think it'll be better if you just throw me inside your palace library and let me read all the history, culture and etiquette of Redbane. It would be much faster and more fun for me." Jewels tells him as she lays on top of him. Their naked bodies intertwined as usual.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, the tutor might be too slow for my learning."

"I was going to be your tutor." Raiden confessed.

"Yes, like I said, the tutor might be too slow for my learning."

Raiden attacks her by tickling her. Jewels pleads for mercy, but Raiden didn't give in. Soon the tickling became caressing which they soon forgot what they were talking about.

One and a half years later

Its her wedding day, she's standing in front of the mirror looking back at herself. Over the year and a half, she was able to save all the Redbane citizens with her Infinite Healing Potion from the plague. Stop and capture a dragon, Reoseth The Dark and was able to successfully make a contract with him, making him her animal to call. She was able to negotiate and give each nation a barrel of the Infinite Healing Potion every year for 25 years for a contract with Osamu Enterprises for those 25 years. She had officially graduated from her education with Master Doku and when she finished, Master Doku left the next day to live a quiet life in the mountains like a hermit. Before he left, she gave him a huge bottle of the Infinite Healing potion and hugged him goodbye. After he left Nobu soon left as well and Fudo stayed behind. Jewels soon moved into the palace and stayed with Raiden. Helping him maneuver through the cut throat court lifestyle.

In the year and a half, the Brooks Estate was finally finished, the extension to the house matched with the rest of the manor and looked welcoming. Only a few of Uncle Judes soldiers went back to their lives, the rest stayed and moved their family to Redbane. Working for their General was an easy decision for them. Not only did they want to follow him where ever he would go, the job was a high paying job that was easy. Uncle Jude and Thomas made their relationship known only to their household and Thomas moved into Uncle Jude's quarters. His position as head butler did not change. They adopted a brother and sister from an orphanage and moved them into Jewels's old room. The boy and girl are twins and are only five years old. Both siblings took the cultivation test and tested out as geniuses. At five years old they were at a level 4 cultivation. Uncle Jude had his hands full training his new son and daughter in cultivation and fighting.

Harvey and Lana have been bedridden the day they arrived to the Brooks Manor. Their legs gave way the moment they got there. The burning tormented them and as they called for all the talented doctors to help them with the poison and their crushed dantians, no one was able to cure them. They have now lost the feeling in their arms and hired help were hired to help them for their everyday need. Maira, still stuck herself in her room, while rumors about Lindsay were that she became a ghost in the left wing.

Jewels was also able to visit the other side of her family, the Rowen Clan in Mulberry with Raiden and stayed with them for two months. The Rowen Clan was more than inviting and gracious to her that she liked them even more. She was finally able to see how powerful the Rowen Clan really was when she went to Mulberry. When she walked with Duchess Rowen or Uncle Sam or Aunt Nora, the level of respect they got from the citizens around them put Jewels in awe. Duchess Rowen introduced her as her granddaughter to everyone and anyone that crossed their path making sure to let everyone know she is the Princess Consort of Redbane and Grand Master Brooks. Jewels was also able to meet her Grandfather Duke Rowen and they got along so well that they would team up to tease Duchess Rowen every time the three of them were together. It was hard for Jewels to leave, but her home is with Raiden and Raiden was needed back in Redbane.

She took a year and a half to plan her wedding. She wanted it to be small and intimate but she was quickly over ruled. So the day before the big wedding, she kidnapped Raiden and brought him to Brooks Estate where the only people who mattered to her were there. Her Uncle, Pop pop, the twins, Thomas, Zeze, her servants and guards. Raiden's parents and his brother and sister. Duke and Duchess Rowen, Uncle Sam and Aunt Nora. Raiden's shadowed bodyguards. A few close Generals and Ministers that Raiden treated as friends and mentors. Fenghuang, Roc and Reoseth The Dark also attened. Fenghuang and Roc would check in on her every couple of months after Jewels unbounded Fenghuang and Roc from their contract. Roc was able to figure a way for Nemean to use his own Eye of Futura in Nemea Kingdom as a connection to see through into Redbane by using the Eye of Futura in Jewels's hand. They could only see each other, but wont't be able to speak to each other. Fenghuang held on to the Eye of Futura so Nemean would be able to see Jewels and Raiden say their vows to each other in front of the people who mattered to them the most.

And now she wore her wedding dress and waited for the ceremony to start. Chieko and Gina came back to the palace to be her maid, while Lieko stayed in Brooks Estate. Lieko and a guardsman have fallen in love and they are getting married next week.

"They are ready for you." Chieko said. "Are you ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." Jewels tells her.

The wedding was long and boring. Jewels went into her grey space several times refining medicine. She came back several times, for them to still be kneeling receiving their blessing from the long winded official of ceremony. When it finally ended, Jewels and Raiden went into the great ceremonial hall and celebrated with all the royalty, nobility and rich merchants of all 4 Kingdoms. The party lasted well into the night until the early morning, even though Jewels and Raiden had already turned in for the night.

When they both got into Raiden's bedroom, both of them were too tired to do anything, but clean up and go to sleep. Raiden was the first one who woke up first. He stared down at her as she slept. He felt like the luckiest man and the wealthiest man to ever receive the best gift of gold in weight.

80 years later

Jewels in bed, lying next to her dead husband. He had long breathed his last breath, but in her grief, she did not let anyone move or touch his body. She knows it will be her time soon. She could feel it. Her death calling her name as she lies next to Raiden. Raiden was waiting for her, she just knew it. They have lived a good life. A happy life. A peaceful life. Being the only Grand Master helped her a lot to live a good, happy, peaceful life that they created. The Redbane Kingdom had prospered within Raiden's rule.

Jewels and Raiden have five children, two boys and three girls. All married and have children of their own. Raiden gave over the throne to their first born son when he was 55 and their son 26. And their son turned over his crown to his first son when he was also 55 and his son 25. Now in their small estate in the outskirts of the city were her great grandchildren, grandchildren, and her children crying in her bedroom and through the hall and into the living room. Her Brooks side of the family were also there. The two twins and their family cried along the royal Osamu Clan. Growing up together, the Brooks and Osamu were like brothers and sisters themselves.

Jewels had long ago released Reoseth The Dark after helping him get back to his plain of existence. Jewels knew it wasn't going to be long before she would follow her love into the next life. She had sent her last message to Nemean through the phoenix feather calling him, Fenghuang and Roc back to Redbane. She wanted to see them one last time before she died.

A large thunder sounded right outside their courtyard and a flash of lightning flashed. From the outside, Jewels could hear Nemean, Fenghuang and Roc argue with her descendants. They didn't know how Nemean, Fenghuang and Roc look like, they've only heard stories.

"Let them in." Jewels tells her grandson who is the current King. "My animals to call have come for the last time." She clarified. Her King Grandson understood, for all his childhood all he could remember is his grandmother's stories about her animals to call. When he was young he had always thought they were bedtime stories, but know as king, after reading the sealed documents of the Kings of Redbane. The stories she told were real. Which made him look at his sweet grandmother in a different light. He knew she was a Grand Master. But to him, she was his favorite grandmother. She treated him well, disciplined him, taught him, pampered him, and played with him. Now sitting next to her as her animals to call came through the door. He was speechless.

Their aura was astoundingly forceful, it engulfed the whole room and made them nervous and scared. To have one animal to call was a blessing, but to have four in her lifetime was amazing. Another loud boom and lightning sounded as Reoseth The Dark walked in after them. Jewels watches as Reoseth The Dark enters the room. The four of them bend down to one knee and greets Jewels. Tears falling down all of their faces as their human has gown old and laid in bed dying.

"King Grandson." Jewels says as she pulls out the Eye of Futura out from her pillow. "This Eye of Futura shall be embedded in my tombstone for my animals to call shall watch over my grave as they promised."

Nemean cries harder as none of them had stood up when they greeted Jewels.

"My animals, please stand. Since when have you guys ever stood on ceremony with me? And since when have you guys been such cry babies?" Jewels joked. "I have told my descendants about our adventures and how powerful and scary you are, you are making me into a lair with all you crying."

Fenghuang cried louder into Roc's arms.

"I told you, you would regret the day I grow old and die on you." Jewels said jokingly, digging into them more as Fenghuang cried louder after hearing her say that. "I have lived a good life thanks to you. I have always wanted to thank you for being my animal to call and helping me achieve my dream. I would not be where I am today, had I not have your help. Thank you Nemean, Fenghuang, Roc and Reoseth The Dark. You all have made me a better human."

Taking her last breath, she told them. "My love is waiting for me and I must go. My Uncle and Pop pop along with Zeze and Thomas are all waiting for me. I can see them. I miss them."

With her last breath she tells them goodbye.
