Jaebum knocked on the park's door and Mrs park opened smiling, once he was in the house he learned that jimin was out for a business dinner, to say he was disappointed is an understatement, his whole features changed to anger

Jaebum came tonight in his mind to tell jimin the truth about his engagement, not that jimin would care or be sad but he felt like telling the shorter to wait for him to end the relationship that he had no mind in keeping it since it was an arranged marriage and also because he still has feelings for jimin

After dinner, they set in the leaving room watching whatever was on tv, well, Mr park did. The other two were chatting mainly about jimin, SoEun told jaebum about jimin's failed marriage, how he was depressed and broken after divorce, jaebum felt angry because the guy jackson who yoongi cheated on jimin with, was his best friend once but he never heard about his relationship with yoongi, he only knows that he moved to another city. however, he knows his friend very well to tell that yoongi is gonna regret leaving jimin for the sake of jackson wang

Jaebum didn't talk about himself much, he only mentioned how he got the job he couldn't tell SoEun about his engagement she won't approve anything between him and her precious hurt son, and when he thought he was off the hook she asked

"What about the girl you were suppose to marry years ago?" He cursed himself for telling her this long time ago but to be honest he never thought she would remember such a thing

"Oh.. I-I'm.. I told my parents that I love someone else" he didn't lie he did tell them this fact but they didn't care about what he feels, the engagement was about money, and if anything they would care about was money

Mr park came to the rescue when he asked "how did the two if you meet anyway you seem to know a lot about each other"

"I used to teach tango in the dance studio that SoEun was attending" jaebum said

"And he recognized me as his crush's mother then he never left me alone" SoEun said smiling and jaebum blushed

"Yeah you were my only hope in getting jimin"

"But I couldn't do anything to help.. it was too late right?"

"Yeah right" jaebum said averting his gaze to the floor when he remembered SoEun shedding tears when she told him about jimin getting married to yoongi

"And you think of getting him back after all that" Mr park said startling jaebum, it was a statement more than a question and jaebum felt nervous

"I think I should go" he said  eventhough he wished he would meet jimin before leaving but the air was suffocating after Mr park's words

They were in their way home when jimin talked breaking the awkward silence in the car

"Oh it's ok, jack is a dick to everyone" jungkook said

"Except you" jimin whispered and jungkook heard him and chuckled, jimin was surprised again seeing his used-to-be-cold-boss smiling again and a smile forced itself to his face

"You can drop me by the bus station.." jimin started but jungkook cut him off

"I'm taking you home" and again the serious face of jungkook startled him, he wanted to tell him that it's ok he can take the bus but when jungkook took one of the cross roads heading to his house, he was shocked as to how did he know the way to his parents house? This guy is full of surprises

When they were feets away from the house jimin noticed how the car was too big to go through the small streets of his neighborhood

"The streets are too tight here, the car wouldn't fit in.. the house is four minutes away I can walk.."

"I'm walking you" jungkook said parking the car and getting out of it than in no time he was opening the door for jimin who didn't has the time to figure out what jungkook said 'I'm walking you' he wanted to say no but the guy was opening him the door in such a gentleman way and he was impressed.. blushing even

Jungkook is the most handsom guy he ever seen, he looked like a model or an idol, with manly yet young face and a built body but the thing that made jimin feel intimidated was the high difference, he had to tilt his head up to see the other's face. Jimin felt butterflies in his stomac when their eyes met and jungkook smiled sweetly

They walked in silence, jimin stealing glances at his boss when ever he could, and jungkook enjoyed having jimin this close to him, and feeling his eyes on him every now and then

"There we are.. I live here" jimin said stopping at the doorway of his house and facing jungkook

"I know" jungkook said turning his full body to jimin and their eyes met once again, jimin's breath hitched something in jungkook's eyes makes him feel tiny and weak maybe the strength aura that his eyes held, maybe the way jungkook looked at jimin's eyes with so much unreadable emotions that the shorter male couldn't recognize

Jungkook noticed that jimin is holding his breath with wide eyes than he smiled averting his eyes to his shoes. Jimin hoped for the floor to open up and swallow him because his boss just laughed at his stupid face, jimin wanted to cut the awkwardness and end the night at this moment so he wouldn't make a joke of himself anymore

"Thanks for tonight" well that came more awkward, he was not suppose to thank his boss for 'a business dinner' it looked like he's thanking him for a date, he felt his body burning of amberessement "I-I mean f-for taking me out" oh fuck that.. he ruined it even more, and the smile on jungkook's lips isn't helping the situation eather

'How the hell did I put my self in such a stupid situation.. Damn my lake of love-life that I feel attracted to every hot guy I know'

"I'm going in.. good night" is the only controlled words he could mouth, but when he turned on his hills to go inside the house there was a soft large hand cupping his smaller one and a softer voice telling him "hyung wait"

Jungkook doesn't have anything to say actually, he doesn't even know why he stopped jimin, he just hadn't enough of the older he wants him to stay more.. but hell he can't say that. They stayed like that for moment staring at each other none of them dared to open his mouth

Than the door opened,  jaebum and jimin's parents came in sight. Jungkook made a mental note to thank them for saving him

Jimin in the other side was speechless for being caught like this, hand in hand with jeon jungkook yet he couldn't tear his hand away it was too warm to lose it

The other three on the other side of the door were eying them suspectingly, jaebum was the most shocked though he stared at their holding hands for too long with wide eyes and parted lips

"And who's this hot one now?" SoEun said with a smirk directed to her son and jimin gulped

"Anniyong I'm jeon jungkook.." jungkook was cut midst by Mr park "JEON JUNGKOOK? LIKE THE OWNER OF JEON FASHION COMPANY?"

despite his will of keeping this small soft hand in his, jungkook had to let go to shake hands with jimin's father who also had the same smirk as his wife now "I'm one of the four owners actually.. nice to meet you Mr park"

"Weird, Jimin never told me about how good looking you are" Mrs park said stepping forther and holding a hand to greet jungkook who happily held it up to his lips and printed a peck to it "pleasure to meet you ma'am" he said

"I'm impressed.. just call me eomonie"

"Oh thanks.. eomonie"

"I like this young man" SoEun said making her way to her still-in-daze son securing him with an arm on his shoulder.

Jungkook's and jaebum's eyes met and it was confusing how they held each other's gazes

"Im jaebum?"

"Jeon jungkook?"

Ok that was an awkward greeting and everyone probably noticed it

Jimin was panicked inside he felt like he was caught cheating on jaebum with jungkook, yet he had nothing between him and the other two guys.
