Chapter Two: Avengers?

Tony peeked around the corner and glared at the man who was flirting with his mom. For some reason, he knew all the tricks, all the ways to get a girl. "Tony.. I don't know if we should do this.." "I'm making sure mom will be ok. We can't trust this guy Bruce.." Tony said and glared at the man. "Jarvis, ask Tony and Bruce to come down here." "Miss Farrow, they are already here." Jarvis informed her. "Crap..." "Anthony, Bruce. Step out now." Tony and Bruce did as she said and walked out slowly. Bruce looked ashamed and Tony crossed his arms. "Boys, meet Bryan. Bryan, these are my sons Bruce and Anthony." Olivia said and smiled at the man.
The man stood up and smiled at the boys. "It's nice to meet you two." "Nice ta met ya mister." Tony said as nicely as he could manage. Bruce have a smile wave and stood behind his brother. "Please, just call me Bryan." "Sorry, but I'm raised to have some manners mister." Tony said, and refused to shake Bryan's hand.
Bryan pulled his hand back and squatted down to meet Tony's gaze. "I'll go make some snacks." Olivia said and left the room. Tony saw Bryan's eyes on his mother's bottom, and he gritted his teeth. "Your mother is an amazing woman. She's beautiful, talented, and bright. Too bad she has to raise you two boys alone." "She does fine on her own mister. She's strong." Bryan smiled and chuckled. "Yes, your mother is very strong. But what happened to your father?" Tony glanced back at Bruce, who was still hiding behind him. He looked back at Bryan and crossed his arms over his arc reactor. "That's none of your business Mister." "It's Bryan Tony. Come on pal, I wanna be your friend." He said and placed a hand on Tony's shoulder. Tony pushed the man's hand off his shoulder and glared at him. "I don't want to be your friend. The only friends I'll need are Bruce, Momma, and Jarvis." Tony snapped at him and kicked his knee. Bryan fell back and rubbed his knee as Olivia walked in. "ANTHONY!" "He's weird momma! I don't want him here!" Olivia frowned deeply at him and placed the snacks on the table. "Go to your room young man." Tony glanced at the man, who smiled at him. Tony grabbed Bruce's hand and stormed off, anger growing inside of him. He slammed the door when him and Bruce were inside of their room, then sank to the floor. "Tony?" "I hate that guy... He's gonna break momma's heart..." "He won't be a dad to us... Momma said he was only a friend." "Not to that guy.. For some reason I know what he's trying to do. He wants to be our friend to get closer to momma. We must stand strong." Tony said and kicked a stuffed bear on the floor.

Natasha watched Clint play with his new nerf bow as their dad showed him how to aim. Apparently, Clint was a natural. Natasha looked at her nerf guns she got, and then over at her father and brother. Her mind wasn't on the toys... It was on the Stark Tower. She wanted to know more, but no with her dad looking. She smiled and stood up. "Daddy?" "Hm?" "Can I go to the potty?" "Can you hold it in a bit longer?" "I can go myself daddy... I'm a big girl." Kyle sighed and nodded. "Don't take too long." She nodded and ran out of the training room and rushed down the halls. She walked into their room and smiled when see saw Kyle's laptop.
She opened it and saw a password. 'ClintandNatasha' she typed in and saw the words welcome. She smiled to herself and clicked on 'Google'. She typed in Stark Tower in NYC.
'Stark Tower was also known as The Avengers Tower, holder to the Earths Mightiest Heroes. But one day the Avengers went missing and were never seen again. The Name was soon changed back to Stark Tower and was never messed with again.'
Natasha knitted her eyebrows and erased her history before turning the laptop off. She placed it back in its spot and slowly walked back to the training room. The Avengers... It sounded so familiar to her... Clint was still in the training room when he saw her. "What took you so long? Dad just went to go look for you." "Clint.. Does the Avengers sound familiar?" Clint stood there, and then his eyes widened. "It does... Why?" "The Stark Tower we saw earlier... That was one of the names." "Really?" "They were earths mightiest heroes, but then just... Disappeared." Natasha said with a shiver. Clint frowned and then smiled at her. "But who cares! Maybe Nat, if lead enough about these avengers, we could bring them back. Dad would be super proud of us!" "Promise Clint?" "Cross my heart and hope to get shot, I promise." "Good.. Let's not tell dad."

Willow sat at the table and looked at her boys. "Steve's fine Thor." "But mother!" "I promise you, Steve will be fine. He's not dying, he's just sickly. He'll need extra things to give him a boost until he's better. Steve, I want you to carry an inhaler where ever you go, ok?" Steve nodded and hugged her. She kissed the top of his blond hair, and then placed him on the ground. "Why don't you three go outside and play? I'm going to do something very quick." Willow said and took them outside.
Steve sat on the porch as he watched his older brothers run around in the grass. Steve frowned and rubbed his arms. "What is the matter Steven?" "I'm scared Thor.." Steve said as Thor picked him up. "There is nothing to fear Steven. Loki and I are here for you." "But I'm sick... What if I get you two sick?" "Mother said we can not become ill." Loki reminded him. Steve nodded and then smiled. He wasn't going to let a sickness stop him. "Let's play a game! I wanna be a soldier!" Steve said and had Thor place him on the ground. "Prefect! I will be a warrior! Come Loki! We shall be warrior's together!" Loki smiled and ran to Thor's side. They ran through the grass and pretended to be fighting bad guys and worked together. Steve coughed a bit, which worried Loki and Thor, but assured them and continued to play.
They laid in the grass and looked at the sunset sky and smiled. "Do you every think that those stories moms talks about.. About superheroes that fly. And ones that can stop a missile... Do you think they're real?" Steve asked his brothers, who were laying at his sides. Thor's eyes sparkled, while Loki's face lit up. "Of course. Mother would never lie." Loki told Steve. "Loki is right Steven. Mother has the biggest heart in all the 9 realms that are out there." Thor said and hugged his brothers.
Willow looked at the three boys and smiled. 'Told you Fury... Loki could change..' She thought as they ran over to her.

Tony wondered through the tower. Olivia had told him to stay in his room, and Jarvis was suppose to make sure. But Tony hacked into the system and he decided he might as well explore parts of the tower Olivia never let him near. Hey, if he was going to be in trouble, he might as well go all the way. He used his arc reactor as a flash light and walked through the unfamiliar halls. He saw a dusty door and opened it. It was a storage room. This should be good.
He brushed past the dust and looked around. He then saw a huge 'A' sign leaning on the wall. "Wow..." He said and walked toward it. "Tony!" Olivia's voice said. Tony jumped and turned to see him mom, and to his surprise, she wasn't mad. "I- I didn't mean too.. I'm sorry." Tony spoke out as she walked over. She hugged him and kissed the top of his head. "I'd never be mad at you... I'm sorry for losing my temper. Just don't come back here until you're old enough ok?" "Yes mom" Tony said as she carried him out of the room.
Later that night, he thought about the A sign. It meant something... And he's seen it before. He has a photographic memory, he KNOWS he's seen it somewhere. He shook his head and peeked under his bed at Bruce on the bottom bunk. He was sleeping without a worry. Tony knew he should get some sleep... They had school.
