People over here sayin' self defense classes are easy. If you people think it's easy, try it for a day. I flippin' dare ya! Come to one of the classes and actually try for once in your lives. Oh yeah, no swearing allowed so good luck screaming through all that pain you'll be experiencing.
   Like, bruh, try me. Ive been doing this for over a year and I still struggle to keep up.
   I'm so done with people saying, "Oh, that looks so easy! Let me try it!"
Then they do it flipping wrong!!!
These guys sit around on their phones all day and do nothing. I have to practice every night either at my house or go the 50 minute class. And it's A LOT to remember to promote to the next belt. You have 2 1/2 months just about every time until you go to a different location to do your test to get your next belt or rank. And guess what?
   The entire promotion is 4-5 hours long. Through most of it, you're sitting down and waiting until either it's your turn to get up with your group (or, god forbid, alone) or everyone else is done with their chance to prove themselves. Also, every single child's parent is there to cheer on their child, take pictures, or both. So you also have a chance to mess something up and someone else's parent, or your own, to get it on video.
   Yeah, it's a great experience. I've done it 6 times. One of those times, me and three other people were up there. We felt so isolated and alone. I could tell just by looking at my friend next to me and the other two..
   We are so dead.
  We must have looked terrified. My mom had the most concerned look on her face. I was all, "HELP ME!!!" She just gave me this look and I felt better. Y'know the look. It says, "You're gonna kick it out there!"
   Yeah, I passed that one with flying colors.
   But can you imagine having to go up in front of about a hundred people, PLUS around 10 black belts (all different degrees) and a single TENTH degree Black belt?! (Tenth is the highest you can go.)
   I mean, I took classes as a kid with one of the current black belts (third degree). If I had continued with my training since childhood, I could be a black belt by now and not a blue belt!
