No, This is Impossible
Sebastian
I turn to the source of my real name. I see a boy with blonde hair and blue-violet eyes. He's a little bit shorter than I am now.
"Tamaki?" I ask and force myself to ignore the burning in my hand.
"This is impossible!" My heart starts to race as the blonde starts to shout. He certainly sounds like Tamaki.
"You died years ago! I-I saw it! I found you hanging from your living room curtains!"
Tears swell up in my eyes.
"Tamaki!" I sob before nearly tossing myself into his arms. How this is possible I'm not even sure. I'm positive Tamaki died, I was at his funeral!
"Kyoya." Tamaki whispers before hugging me back tightly.
"What are you?" I whisper. Please don't let him be what I suspect he is.
"I'm an angel, but y-you aren't." Tamaki pulls away but leaves our hands connected. His fingers brush over my contract symbol causing me to wince slightly.
"You're a demon." Tamaki finally manages to say. "And I'm an angel."
Ciel
I wake up in a hospital room. Both my arms are covered in bandages. My eyepatch is tied on thank goodness. That would be kind of hard to explain to doctors.
I look over to find a blonde boy fast asleep in a chair beside my bed. He's in a way to fimillar pink coat and green vest.
Alois Trancy is dead and you know that. He's dead as dead gets. Stuck in hell forever with Claude.
Slowly the boys eyes flutter open. Those sad icy blue eyes that could only belong to Alois.
H-how?! This is impossible! Alois is dead!
"C-Ciel." He says quietly. Suddenly he's sat upright sobbing while holding my hand.
"Why do I know you?! Why does your name sound so goddamn fimillar!?" He cries into my hand.
"A-Alois Trancy." I pause to make sure I have his attention. "That's your name?"
"Y-yes." He says with a sniffle. "Now please answer my question! I've got very little time and I don't want-they will come back for me..."
"Who? Who's going to come back for you? Alois how old are you?" I ask gently.
"S-seventeen. I'm going to be eighteen in two day though. The orphanage won't let me leave till I'm eighteen. Nobody ever adopted me so I've been suck there my whole life." Why does his story make me so sad?
"Alois...." I turn my hand over so I'm gripping his.
"Ciel Phantomhive. The name first came to me in a dream. I lived with a man named Claude and I giggled something about your name. God that's so out of character for me...." If I had liquid in my mouth I would've spit it out.
"You don't giggle often in this l-" I cut myself off.
"I can't remember the last time I laughed honestly. Why is that hard to believe?" I just give Alois a small smile.
"To answer your question about my name let's just say we were.... acquaintances.....in your past life." Alois' eyes widen.
"Past life? What kind of-"
"Drug am I on? Yea I know right, but I'm serious. I want you to read up on Jim Macken of nothing comes up on that try researching your own name." Alois just nods but doesn't leave my side.
I can't help but stare over at him. Maybe this Alois won't be so bad. He seems....decent.
"Why did you do this?" Alois whispers to me. "You had everything Ciel!" Alois looks up from our hands with tears in his eyes.
"What do you mean?" I ask carefully.
"Everyone loves you!"
My eyes widen at the sound of Alois' shouts. The past Alois said something similar to me once.
"Your life was perfect Ciel and you went and did this! Don't you know how many people you've hurt?!" Tears now flow freely from both our eyes.
Never in a million years would I have imagined the day I said I'm sorry to Alois Trancy.
"I'm sorry!" I cry.
We both just stare at each other and cry. Neither knows what do say or what do to. Alois stares at me with a look of pure heartbreak.
"They're coming...." He whispers more to himself than to me. Two days before he's homeless.
"How do I adopt you?" Alois' eyes widen.
"W-what?" He asks and I smile at him.
"How do I adopt you?" I ask again.
"I mean I-I'm not sure but I'm sure we could work something out when they arrive if you w-want." Alois doesn't look so sad anymore.
"Why would someone like you want-"
"Don't say that. I'll do whatever it takes to assure you've got a good home. Even if that means living with me." Alois looks down as more tears flow from his eyes.
Suddenly I hear something I didn't expect to hear. Laughter. Alois looks up at me, wearing one of he most heart wrenching smiles I've ever seen.
He gently wraps his arms around me while crying into my shoulder. I carefully hug him back.
"T-thank y-you!" Alois sobs. I know they aren't sad tears at this point.
Alois ends up snuggled gently into my side. It's good to have another person here. Nobody else bothered to be here when I woke up. Not even Sebastian.
"Hey Alois." I say to make sure he's still awake.
"Yes Ciel?" I smile slightly before saying,
"You have a beautiful soul." Oh how past Alois would've longed to hear those words.
"Umm okay?" Alois replies.
"Don't worry about that. You'll understand sooner or later." I say before letting myself fall back asleep.
Sebastian
Tamaki leads me to what seems to be an orphanage. Why is he taking me here?
"I work here a lot. Some of the boys have a habit of running away. I just have to make sure everyone's still here." Tamaki explains. He's still holding my hand tightly.
He let's me go while he checks rooms. Within a few minutes he returns with a frown.
"I've got a runaway and I'm pretty sure I know exactly where he is." Tamaki takes my hand again and we start walking.
"You wouldn't happen to know a Ciel Phantomhive do you?" Tamaki asks and I suddenly feel the urge to get sick.
"Umm no why?" I lie.
"The boy that ran away has been obsessing over him for the past few months." There's a long pause.
"Oh and Kyoya I know when you're lying. Now if you could lead me to Ciel Alexander Phantomhive that would be fantastic."
I sigh and stare down at my feet. They walk towards Ciel. I don't want to see him. I'm not ready to see Ciel again yet.
We end up at a hospital. Bard, Finny, and Mey-Rin are stood outside. My heart aches as Bard glares at me.
"I knew you didn't really love him." He snaps as we walk by.
"Your words not mine. Now what room is he in?" I ask in the same harsh tone.
"556." Finny answers quietly.
I take off towards Ciel's room, dragging Tamaki behind me. Once we reach the door I release his hand. I take a deep breath only to realize it's not only Ciel's soul I smell.
Hesitantly I push open the door and what I see causes my jaw to drop to the floor.
I guess I wasn't the only one who was reunited with an old friend tonight.
