Jungkook was in math class when he found the love of his life.

He wasn't expecting it, but when he stopped paying attention to the teacher and started daydreaming, he found himself looking outside only to have his attention caught by a blonde, boy dancing out in the courtyard.

It was contemporary and it was graceful and it had Jungkook falling in seconds. He would've kept looking if it wasn't for his friend Jin, who tapped his shoulder after seeing him staring out the window.

"Pay attention Kook, your grades can't make themselves."

Jungkook just groaned while disregarding the comment, he looked out the window only to see the blonde boy stop dancing and run into someone's arms before kissing them passionately. Oh how Jungkook wished it was him.

Jungkook was walking down the halls without paying attention to where he was going and bumped into somebody, causing their items to fall out of their hands.

"Oh! I'm so sorry I wasn't looking!" Jungkook apologized before gathering the textbooks and binders of the other. He noticed the person's small hands and almost coo-ed out loud.

"Its okay."

Looking up, Jungkook paled when he saw who he bumped into.

The blonde dancer from the other day.

Immediately, Jungkook's mouth shot open and he couldn't speak correctly, making random sounds that confused the older boy across from him.

"Um, are you okay?" He asked when they stood up.

"Uh, ye-yeah of course! Why wouldn't I be?" He nervously chuckled while passing Jimin the textbooks he got off of the floor.

"I don't know, you look a little shaken." Jimin said with a small smile that made Jungkook almost faint.

"Pffft! Shaken? No, I am completely fine! Don't worry. Totally fine-totally... fine..." He dragged out, convincing Jimin that he was ok.

"Ok well, thank you for helping me, I'm Jimin- and I'm going to be late! Oh my gosh!" He rushed away past Jungkook to get to his class but he first turned around to face the boy again. "What's your name?"

"Jungkook."

"See you around Jungkook." Jimin smiled before running to class, leaving an amazed Jungkook behind.

"Hyung you didn't see his sMILE!" Jungkook awed as he told the story of his clash with Jimin to Jin.

"Awwww, does somebody have a crush?" Jin teased, making Jungkook turn a couple shades pinker. "You totally do! When's the wedding?! I'll be your best man right?!"

"Hyung, there won't be a wedding, I dont have the courage to ask him out! Plus, he has a boyfriend." He sighed, leaning on the rail of his balcony.

"Boyfriend shmoyfriend!" Jin dismissed. "If anyone can turn a guy its you! You just need to get to know him better, he already knows your name so that's a start."

"I guess, but how am I supposed to get close to him?"

"Leave it to me..."

The next day, Jin and Jungkook were walking through the halls during lunch, looking for something to do since they were bored and had finished eating. They walked out onto the football field and boredly sat under the bleachers.

"Why did you choose here? It's not really a hiding spot and there's nothing to do." Jungkook asked.

"Yeah well, just wait for it because I saw your little crush and his boytoy walking this way." Jin smiled.

"WHAT?!-"

"SHHHH!" Jin tackled the boy and covered his mouth with his hand as Jimin and his boyfriend walked up the bleachers and sat right over the 2. "Listen." Jin whispered.

"But Younghyunie!"

"I'm sorry Chim, but my band has to go to the semi-finals that day, we're so close to winning!"

"But it's Valentine's day." Jimin pouted, he's sad because Younghyun's band, Day6, has been doing this competition and the next round is on Valentine's day, therefore, they'll have to drive to Seoul for it so he wouldn't see the elder all day.

"I know, and I'm sorry love, but what's the point of starting something I can't finish." He cupped Jimins cheek with his hands to look into his eyes. "I'm sorry, I really am."

"I know." He pouted again. Younghyun chuckled at the pout before lightly kissing it away, making Jimin giggle.

"I'll see you the day after."

"Promise me?" He asked, holding his pinky up.

"I promise." Younghyun attached their pinkies and locked their promise, they both kissed their thumbs and turned their hands to make a heart with eachother.

"Ok then. Lunch is almost over, are you walking me to class?" Jimin asked, picking up his backpack.

"Of course!" The older picked up his backpack and bass and slid each on a shoulder before accompanying Jimin down the bleachers and to his class. Leaving a stunned Jin and a sad Jungkook under the bleachers.

"Wow, they're too cute." Jin whispers to himself but Jungkook heard it anyways. "This might be hard, Kook."

"You don't say!" Note the sarcasm. "How am I supposed to win him over now? They're clearly in love."

"Hey! I didn't raise you to be a quitter! You'll come up with something. I believe in you."

The week before Valentine's Day, Jungkook has been talking to Jimin whenever he could, just so he could build up the friendship that he hoped would soon turn into more. He approached him when he didn't see Younghyun around, because honestly, if he did manage to get Jimin, he didn't want to meet the guy he would soon be stealing from. It would be terribly awkward.

He would also walk Jimin home, claiming that his house was on the way but in reality it was in the other direction, but that was only when Younghyun had band practice after school, otherwise Jimin would've gone with him.

So here is the day, February 14th, Valentine's Day, that Jungkook will execute his and Jins "master plan" to get Jimin to be his.

"Hey Jimin!" Jungkook caught up to the boy in the hallways after looking everywhere for him.

"Hello Jungkook! What's up?" He tried to fake enthusiasm but Jungkook could hear the pain in his voice.

"I'm fine, how about you, you don't seem too great."

"Me? Psh! I'm good. Totally fine. Peachy keen!" He smiled, but Jungkook could see through that as well.

"Jimin...."

"What are you doing after school?" The elder asked, causing Jungkook to hide his smile since Jimin asked him first.

"Nothing, why?"

"Wanna hang out?"

"Really?" Jimin nodded. "What about Younghyun?" He pretended to not know about the bassist's absense from school.

"He's.....not feeling well today. So now I don't have anything to do after school, so wanna hang?" He asked again, making Jungkook hold back a chuckle from noticing his lie.

"Sure, why not?"

They went out for froyo and Jimin shocked Jungkook with his choice of yogurt.

"What?! You mix Cookies n Cream with strawberry lemonade ?!" He gasped, disgusted.

"Umm, yeah, it's pretty good, though they're polar opposites. They compliment eachother somehow." He proceeded to the candy, placing sour gummy worms and gummy bears, as well as Nerds into his bowl.

"Wow, you have quite the sweet tooth." Jungkook mentioned, looking down to his regular Cookies and Cream yogurt, feeling that it wasn't good enough all of a sudden.

"Yeah, but it's fine, I'll brush my teeth." He smiled at the boy before pouring caramel lightly over the contents of the bowl. Junghoon eyes widened.

"Wow. Ok. That's alot."

"I'll be fine Kook." Jimin looked down at Jungkook's bowl.

"Hey! Where's your toppings?!" He gaped.

"Oh, I guess I forgot them when I was focused on your cacophony of a dish."

"That's not even the right context to use cacophony!" He facepalmed. "Whatever, get your toppings."

The younger proceeded to pour oreos over his cookies and cream treat and added M&Ms just for fun.

After paying, they sat down in the seating area and began to talk about random things, like candy, sports and eventually ended up on the subject of relationships.

"So, are you with anyone?" Jimin asked the younger, him immediately blushing from the question.

"No, otherwise I wouldn't be here with you." He chuckled while looking away, using the spoon to somewhat cover his cheeks.

"Oh, right." He forgot it was Valentine's day, which made him think of Younghyun, which made his semi-smile fall into a straight line. Of course Jungkook took notice of this, thinking that he caused it by what he said.

"I'm sorry! I didnt know that comment would hurt you."

"No no, it wasn't you....dont worry." He sighed.

"I'm still worrying." Jungkook spoke after some silence. Jimin looked up at the boy and they held eye contact for about 15 seconds before he looked down at their empty bowls.

"Let's go." He suggested. Jungkook nodded and threw his bowl in the trash before following Jimin.

They ended up at Jungkook's house after walking around for a while. They got tired of walking and so Jungkook suggested that they go to his place since its close.

Jungkook's mom greeted them when they walked through the door and winked at Jungkook while hugging Jimin. Jungkook just rolled his eyes and lead Jimin to his room, where his video games resided.

"Ok, so I have Overwatch, CoD, Fortnite, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and more. Which do you wanna play?" Jungkook asked after looking through his games, holding up the ones he called.

"I don't know, I'm not really good at these, you could choose and I'll watch." Jimin smiled. 

This is a chance to impress him with my skills!

"Sure, ok." Jungkook chose Fortnite to play since there's other people playing and there's a definite winner. "So for this game, you have to make it to the end while fighting others and staying inside the purple barrier. There are tools to grab along the way, and we can build stuff."

"Ok." Jimin spoke, not really paying attention to the explanation and just watching.

He watched Jungkook build and fight and dance to make it to the top 3 players in the game.

He was amazed. He's never really been interested in video games with Younghyun because he was always sucked into the game and never payed attention to Jimin, however, Jungkook makes sure he speaks every couple of minutes to explain what he's doing or what he's grabbing. Jimin was suddenly interested. And when Jungkook got #1, he was cheering and clapping for the younger.

"That's so cool! You're so good! Can I try?!" Jungkook was shocked.

"I thought you weren't "really good at these." He air quoted. Resulting in Jimin lightly shoving him.

"I guess you'll have to teach me then." He said before grabbing the controller and moving in between Jungkook's legs.

"Woah!" Jungkook gasped, hands in the air as Jimin got himself situated between the younger.

"Come on Kook! I wanna learn!" He nudged behind him.

"Ok ok, I'll teach you." Jimin squealed and smiled making Jungkook swoon.

Jimin learned quickly and was soon getting up to the top 20 people in the game. Jungkook wanted to play too but Jimin wouldnt quit.

He was still between Jungkook's legs, leaning back into his chest as Jungkook smoothly had his arms around the older, pulling him closer when he started jumping from excitement.

Eventually, Jungkook thought that they played enough fortnite and turned the Xbox off in order to talk more with Jimin. They laid on his bed, a couple inches away from eachother, staring at the ceiling and questioning life.

Somehow, once again the conversation became about Younghyun and Jungkook noticed Jimins smile fall everytime they've mentioned him.

"Jimin, I think it's time I confess something." The older looked over in confusion, wondering what it could possibly be about.

"I know that Younghyun is at some festival on Seoul. I know you lied." Jimin looked away from the boy and huffed, he was thinking of telling Kook but he was having too much fun so he didn't want to ruin the mood. "Why didn't you tell me the truth earlier? I would've still hung out with you." Jimin sighed again before looking to the taller, his sparkling eyes mesmerizing.

"It's just that......ok." Jimin sat up and turned to face Jungkook, the latter followed quickly. "Ok, so you know how we are at school right? Everyone sees us as the perfect couple. Perfect dates, perfect gifts, compatible personalities. But the truth is.....we only see eachother in school. He never has time for me, he's always practicing, or doing homework, or something to get out of being with me. Is something wrong with me? Is that why he-"

"Nonono Jimin." Jungkook reached up to cup his cheeks to get him to pay attention to him. "Jimin, you're perfect the way you are. If he doesnt make time for you then that's his fault, not yours. And if he's making you feel that way then it isn't safe, it's not healthy." Jimin reached up to hold Jungkook's hands on his cheeks.

"I know, I know but-"

"No buts, if I had known he was doing this then I would've told you this sooner."

"Who would like me if not him?"

".....I would." Jimin looked up into Jungkook's eyes and saw the sincerity in them. He also saw something else....maybe....attraction?

Then he noticed how the space between them was getting smaller. He placed a hand on Jungkook's thigh as he leaned closer as well. Both closing their eyes waiting to meet at the center.

But this wouldn't be a Caleo5637 story without someone interrupting now would it?

Jungkook's mom entered the room without knocking, sending the boys to fly away from eachother in a hurry. Jungkook literally fell onto the floor while Jimin quickly turned away.

Jimins face basically blew up like they do in the cartoons.

Jungkook's mom smirked before announcing that dinner was ready.

After dinner, Jimin left with the excuse that he had to water his cat. Jungkook immediately understood what he meant and walked him to the door. Jimin thanked him for inviting him over and smiled at the boy before leaving and walking to the bus station in order to go home.

Jungkook shut the door and placed his forehead against it, sighing heavily before touching his lips with his fingers, imagining what would be happened if his mom hadn't interrupted them.

"Soooooo?" His parents stood behind him smiling and giggling like teenagers.

"When will you ask him out?!" His mother asked excitingly, which made Jungkook sigh, immediately killing the mood.

"Never, he has a boyfriend." He said as he nervously scratched his neck.

"What?! And he was about to kiss you!?" His mother screamed. "His boyfriend better not be good to him then."

"To be fair, I leaned in first." He defended.

"Oh! So my son is a boyfriend stealer now?! That's my son!" His father chuckled.

"Dad! Oh my gosh! It was a one time thing- probably a mistake- and it's not gonna happen again."

"Come on Son, he's a keeper! You gotta try!" His father pushed.

"I think I'm done with this conversation."

The next day, Jimin was storming out of the school building and to Day6 who were sitting on the bleachers. Younghyun saw him and ran up to him with a smile before picking him up and spinning him around.

"Chim! We made it to the finals! We might win the contest and the record deal!" He smiled, totally disregarding Jimins look of anger. But when he didn't get the response he was hoping for he noticed the fire in Jimins eyes.

"Babe, what's-"

"I'll tell you what's wrong. No call, no text, nothing! I don't hear from you all day and I find out from others that's you've been practicing all day out here. Skipping class?! I was worried! I thought you might've crashed from the drive or something! I guess I'm just stupid for worrying about you." He muttered before turning and starting to walk away. But Younghyun caught his arm and went in front of him.

"Babe, wait. I turned my phone off so I could focus, I didn't think it would worry you that much. And no, you aren't stupid, I'm grateful for having someone like you to worry about me. I love you."

"Really? Do you?" He asked with sass. "Cuz I don't see it!"

"I show you everyday!"

"With what?! A few hugs? A few kisses? Not taking me out? Neglecting me? Which one! Cuz lately, I've been sick of all of them. Yesterday you promised me you would see me!"

"And I am! What's gotten into you? You be never been like this."

"Well, maybe I've opened my eyes." He chuckled. "Maybe this is why they say not to date the rockstar." He started walking again.

"Babe-"

"Don't 'Babe' me right now! Matter of fact, don't 'Babe' me ever again. We're done. Good luck at the finals." He ran away.

"Jimin!" He yelled after him, but didn't run.

"Dang, he burned you son." His member, Jaehyung said from the bleachers.

"Shut up Chicken Little."

Jungkook, who watched the whole thing, ran after Jimin after he saw the tears fall down his angels face.

He quickly caught up and wrapped his arms around him, Jimin not hesitating to hug back after he figured out who it was.

"Shhh, it's ok Jimin. It's okay."

"I didn't know I would do that! It just came out." He cried, making Jungkook's heart cry as well.

"Well, do you regret it?"

Jimin felt the relief in his system and somehow, didn't regret it. It's like a weight lifted off his shoulders. He shook his head and it made Jungkook smile.

"So, I heard that they broke up, are you gonna slide in the dms now?" Jin asked Jungkook at his locker.

"Hyung, they just broke up 2 hours ago, of course I'm not." He spoke as he gathered put his stuff that he didn't need away.

"Jungkook it's your chance!"

"Not if he's still sad about it! I have to let him recover first. It'll take time."

"Wow, you must really like him of you're willing to wait."

"What? Did you think it was a fling? I genuinely like Jimin. He's everything to me at the moment. I don't want to ruin what we have, especially when he needs me right now."

"Wow it's this serious."

"Yeah, when I realized that, I felt the same way."

"Taehyung!"

"Taehyung?"

Taehyung. Jimins best friend. Another possible obstacle in Jungkook's way.

"Jimin!" The two friends hugged like they haven't seen eachother in years and Jungkook was confused because he has never seen this male in his life.

"Jungkook, this is Taehyung, my best friend. He just got back from his trip to France."

"Nice to meet you." Jungkook shook his hand and prayed that he was straight.

"Nice to meet you too, I went to study fashion overseas and I can't believe I'm back after so long!"

Welp, there goes him being straight.

It's been 2 weeks since the breakup and right now they're all at Jimins house. Originally, Jimin invited Jungkook to watch a movie with him but then Taehyung showed up and ruined Jungkook's planned cuddle time.

Jimin was taking the break up very nicely nowadays, with Jungkook by his side, he hasn't felt empty, he didn't feel alone. Jungkook made him happy again, but that's not the only thing he made him feel.

Jimin started the movie and went back to the couch to sit next to Jungkook and immediately cuddled into him since that's what he's used to. Taehyung, from his chair, noticed and almost squealed out loud. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

It was so cute!

Taehyung was quick to interrogate Jimin when the youngest boy left.

"Spill." He crossed his arms, watching Jimin clean up the living room.

"Spill what?" Jimin asked, although he had an idea of what Tae was asking about.

"You know what!" He giggled. "Jungkook! Come on Jimin! I've been gone for 2 months and come back to you being single and cuddling up to a new hot guy!"

"Ok, it's not what it seems! We're really friends, he helped me see my situation with Younghyun and he helped me after the breakup-"

"Wait, are you saying he encouraged you to break up with Younghyun?!" He smiled.

"Tae-"

"Nope! He encouraged you, and cuddled you! That's it! He likes you!" He squealed and jumped around.

"Taehyung it's not like that, trust me. He doesn't like me." He moped, causing Taehyung to smirk.

"But that doesn't mean that you dont like him?" He squealed again, making Jimin blush at the thought.

"Tae! We're just friends! He's nice." He  sighed before going off to start folding the blankets. "Besides, I just got out of a relationship, why would I jump into another?"

"Because this super hot guy likes you? Is that not enough?" He asked as he sat next to the blankets Jimin already folded. "If he's so nice then that's a good sign. Has he ever shown interest in you?"

"Well....."

"AHA!"

"That doesn't prove anything!"

"What did he do?" Jimin blushed just thinking about it, he quickly picked up the blankets and walked towards the hall closet. "Now I'm really curious!" Taehyung smiled as he followed his best friend.

"Ok, we may have almost kissed. Almost." He said as he placed all the blankets on the shelf in the closet.

"When was this?!"

"V-Valentine's day." He said nervously.

"That was before you broke up with- OMG YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM CUZ YOU LIKE JUNGKOOK!"

"Not at all, it was too soon for me to have feelings for him."

"You're not denying it now?" Jimin stayed quiet, nervously biting his lip. "Jimin, there's nothing wrong with having a slight crush. Especially when he likes you back."

"But-"

"Do you think he'll treat you badly?" Jimin didn't even have to think about that answer.

"No, he always makes time for me."

"Mmhmm, and that's the complete opposite of what Younghyun did." Jimin sighed before looking at Taehyung.

"I guess."

Taehyung dragged Jimin back onto the couch to say his final words.

"Look, I really think that this could be good for you Jimin. A healthy relationship. A new start. After knowing the boy for about 3 hours, I can tell that he's good for you." Jimin chuckled. "I'm serious!"

"I know you are. Thanks Tae, you're the bestest best friend anyone could ask for." He smiled and pulled Taehyung into a hug. "I guess I have been a little blind, I mean we almost kissed for Pete's sake! Even when we met he was stuttering like I completely took his breath away. It was cute." He smiled and blushed for the third time that night.

"There it isssss! There's the famous "I got a crush!" Face!"

"Shut up Tae!"

The next day, Jimin got dressed in a striped shirt and ripped black skinny jeans. He also went ahead and put some fishnets under his jeans. He wanted to look his best and see how Jungkook would react to his outfit choice. He styled his hair by running his hands through it til it got the look he wanted. Then he smiled at himself in the mirror before matching his shoes and throwing on his backpack and heading downstairs.

"Oh snap! Who's my little Jiminie trying to impress today?!" His mother asked him as she was making coffee.

"Mom~" He whined, covering his blushing cheeks with his small hands.

"What?! You're lookin fine! You don't normally do this! Not even for Younghyun, *GASP* is this for Jungkook?!"

"Mother!!! Oh my gosh! Can't a guy just wanna look good for once?!"

"Jimin, you always look good, today you look great! Come eat you breakfast so you could hurry and impress that boy."

"Oh my lord."

Jimin arrived at school and went straight to his locker. Fortunately, Jungkook was there waiting for him. He didn't see him yet because he was staring into his phone, but when the elder walked up to him, he slowly looked up, taking in Jimins appearance with an open mouth.

"Woah."

"What's wrong Kookie?" Jimin asked, opening his locker and taking out his math textbook.

"Oh, n-nothing. Nothing at all." He scratched his nape as he dragged his eyes away from Jimins body.

"Let's get to class!" Jimin grinned, taking Jungkook's hand and intertwining it with his before raising it over his own shoulder, so he could have the younger close to him and also hold him hand.

Jungkook was so confused.

Why was Jimin making him hold him like this, they only do it in private, in the comfort of one of their own homes. He surely doesn't hate it, don't get him wrong, he's loving it, he's just not used to it.

"Why are you holding me?" He asked as Jimin pulled him along.

"Why wouldn't I? You mean a lot to me." He smiled, trying to hint at something.

"I do?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't you? I also want you to hold me."

Jungkook nearly tripped while walking.

"Are you ok Kookie?"

"K-Kookie?!" He gasped out, really not knowing what's wrong with Jimin.

"Is something wrong?" Jimin smiled again, this time looking up to Jungkook.

"N-No! Why would there be a problem?!" He stuttered, making sure to show that he's completely ok with being called that. "There's totally nothing wrong with you calling me Kookie."

Jimin just giggled before entering the classroom with Jungkook. He dragged them to the back since there weren't assigned seats and made him sit down.

"Hey, why are we sitting all the way bac-" Before he could finish, Jimin sat down next to him and wrapped his arm around him again before leaning into Jungkook's embrace, sighing when comfortable.

Once again, Jungkook was speechless, Jimin was never this close to him in public, he was honestly really confused.

And the confusion didn't end, even at the end of the school day when they were walking to Jimins house, hand in hand. Jimin kept up with the skinship everytime they saw eachother, he always had to be in contact with Jungkook. Even when they had lunch with Jin and Taehyung, Jimin had his head rest on Jungkook's shoulder, the look on Jins face completely proud.

He didn't know this much contact with Jungkook would be so amazing. He just realized how much boyfriend material Jungkook was, and that led to him being more clingy at the end of the day, rather than the first half.

So, with their hands swinging in between them, Jungkook finally had to ask.

"So, why were you so touchy today?"

"What do you mean?" Jimin asked, feigning innocence.

"Everytime we were together, you were in some sort of physical contact with me. This isn't usually how you are. Not that I'm complaining or anything!" Jimin stopped walking and turned to Jungkook. Jungkook was panicking so he started talking really fast in order to rephrase what he said.

"It's just that I usually start the contact and it's barely anything, then you come today acting all clingy and I kinda love it because it seems like you like me back but-" jungkook couldn't finish his sentence because Jimin stood on his tip toes and brought their lips together. It was short, enough to shut the boy up, but also enough to show how Jimin felt.

When he pulled apart, Jungkook's mouth was wide open, along with his eyes, in shock. He wasn't expecting that at all!

"I- we- what?- Huh?" He stuttered, not knowing what just happened. Jimin just giggled at the other's face, giving him a moment to comprehend.

"Did you just-"

"I kissed you Kookie." He smiled, causing the younger to smile as well.

"But....why?"

"Do you regret it?"

"No! Heavens no! Gosh! I wanna do it again! I just wanna know, why me?"

"You've been here for me Kook, through the tears, through the pain, through happiness. I've started to like you since, probably before the break up, that's why it didn't take long to recover, because you were there to ease me. And recently, I've started to notice how you look at me, how you care for me, and I knew that my crush wasn't one-sided." Jungkook could've cried at these words, but he wanted to hold them in to keep his image in Jimins eyes. "So today, I decided, why not get all cute and clingy today, just for my Kookie. Did you like it?"

"Oh yes, very much." They both chuckled at his response. "I would've never expected for you to like me back." He whispered to the elder. "I thought that maybe I'd have to be the friend forever. That eventually, I'll be the one that you go to when you're sad, only to be forgotten about the next morning." Jimin pulled him closer to him, not caring if they were out in public.

"How could you say that? I really like you." He pouted.

"I like you too." Jungkook smiled, causing Jimins pout to fade away.

"Then why are you complaining when you could be kissing me?" Jimin asked cutely before puckering his lips, making Jungkook full out laugh at him before caressing Jimins cheeks with his manly hands and connecting their mouths once again. Sharing their newly found passion for eachother with one another. Slowly pulling away, only to smile at each other and peck a couple more times with giggles before continuing their way to Jimins house for a celebratory cuddle session.
