BACKGROUND:
✿ born in ulsan, bada and her twin brother, hanuel,
grew up in a less than nice neighborhood than
most other kids. her dad was a manager at a friend
chicken place while her mom was vendor in the local
street market, and bada spent most of her time at the
market. there is where she learned most of her street
smarts. when she was 13, her father landed an office
job in seoul, and as a family, the songs moved to
their new home. as she was on her way to school, bada
got street casted by cube entertainment. she first
entered as an actress and was able to get some roles.
after awhile, she found her passion in music. within
another 2 years of training, bada excelled in
singing, became besties with several of the trainees,
such as soojin & miyeon, & was placed in the line-up
of gidle in hopes of being one of the group's
vocalist. she was close to debuting but after falling
down stairs at school, she received a major injury,
causing the girl to not be able to perform for at
least 6 months, & eventually, the young girl got
dismissed by CUBE. bada then began busking and 4
months after her dismissal, bada got street casted by
yuehua.

❀ bada first spent 7 months training under cube to
debut as an actress. after moving to music, she
spent another two years training in the lineup for
girls. when 97 liner entered yuehua, she spent only
a year training.
