Seasons Change Chapter One

I stood, watching, as I witnessed a boy, with light brown hair and green eyes, was cornered by five teenagers, led by a girl with blond hair and hazel eyes. Then the weirdest thing happened; Just as I was about to stop them from bullying him, they drew swords. Instantly, the five teenagers' swords lit on fire. The boy then drew a sword that was made out of ice, melting away to water at the hilt. The teenagers were glaring at him with a fiery fury, and the boy was returning the glares with looks of cold hate. As all this happened, I just stood there, frozen in shock. Then the teenagers attacked.

Then I woke up. It had been a very vivid dream.
"Breakfast!" Hollered Mrs. Jenkins.
You see, I live in an orphanage, Hilltop orphanage, to be exact. My parents died in a fire, when I was one year old. I am now fourteen. I know, thirteen years in an orphanage. But this wasn't a bad orphanage. I mean, Mrs. Jenkins was very nice, but we were kinda low on money. Okay, super low on money.
"C'mon, Ellen! Aren't you hungry?" My friend Jess said.
"Of course I am, let's go!" I replied.
So we made our way to breakfast, which was some PB'nJ. There are 10 kids in the orphanage, including us. Me and Jess were fourteen, Tristan and Blake were ten, Josie, Rose, Andy, Jack and John were 6, and Stella was 9. We had a long table with eleven seats. Me and Jess were seated next to Mrs. Jenkins, and behind us, were Tristan and Blake, behind them was Stella, behind her were Josie and Rose, behind them were Andy and Jack, and behind them was John. We tucked into our meals and finished very quickly and soon started a game of Monopoly Jr. Stella won, then we went to our dormitories to chat.
