short backstory: born in Nice, France- René set out to be a professional cyclist like his father's line, but after a nasty accident on a mountain trail, he was unable to train for months, turning to selling cocaine for money. After realising that it makes more money faster, he's chosen to completely change to the life of a criminal- lying to his family about his new status.
