6. The Royale Club

Anna and Jasmine made home safely. They were all gathered in Sarah's room and was discussing the earlier incident.

"Amelia will be the happiest person when she discovers that Mr. Hiroshima is dead," Sarah said as she leaned against the bedrest.

"I know but what if she thinks that we killed him?"

"Doesn't matter, she never saw us neither spoke to us. Nobody knows that The Spades is run by ladies. And moreover our deal with her is done, we don't know her from now on." Fiona said. Besides her, Anna felt uneasy because Leo had already discovered that she is a girl but he doesn't know that it was her.

"Anna you alright!" Sarah asked when she noticed her being in tension.

"Yeah, why?"

"Did you see many killing?"

"Kind of." She answered quietly.

"Are you really okay?" Fiona pressed on her hand and asked softly. "We know you, Anna. You can never sleep when you witness a murder. Come to my room if you're not doing fine."

"It's okay, this is not my first time. I am slowly overcoming this disorder." Anna said and offered them a small smile.

Jasmine phone beeps a notification. She took fetched for her phone from her pant pocket while her sisters were busy with talks. She unlocked her phone and saw a message from her best friend Daniel.

Let's hang out at the Royale Club. My treat. Bring Anna as well. And if she rejects this time, tell her that I'm bringing a pack of caterpillars to her bed. I'll come to pick both of you at 9.

"Daniel's wants to hang out," Jasmine informed her sisters.

"Both of you are all about hanging out. BFF for life." Sarah shook her head. "Don't tell me you are going to hang out in my workplace?" She asked and Jasmine simply grinned at her dancing her head.

"Yup, we are. Anna, he wants you to come along as well."

"I'm not going." Anna rejected.

"As expected. He also said that if you don't come along, he will bring a pack of caterpillars in your bed." Anna gave her sisters a horrified looked at the mention of caterpillars while they threw an amused glance at her.

"You have to get your phobia over caterpillars too," Sarah advised her in an amused tone.

"I'll kill him before he even gets the chance to do that." Anna deadpanned.

"C' mon Anna. You always reject to come along with us."

"That's because you all hang out at the wrong time. I don't like hanging out at night." Anna pointed out. "And yeah, the Royale Club is a nasty place, I like being in a decent place."

"Oh, you're so boring, little sister." Jasmine sighed and rolled over the bed.

"Oh, Jasmine! That bitch you remember, the one who have ditch Daniel for the other guy— the one for whom Daniel had been beaten up badly last year."

"Katie! What about that bitch!" Jasmine sneered as she straightened up from the bed.

"She's back in the city. I've seen her continuously the last three nights with different guys." Sarah informed and jerked an eyebrow at her.

"Is she coming tonight?"

"Might be." Sarah shrugged off.

"She's going to pay for what she did to my best friend," Jasmine smirked dangerously as the thirst for revenge ran through her veins.

"I'm afraid I won't let you do that." Sarah disagreed at her while Jasmine snapped her head towards her and frowned over. "Because the guys she's been hanging out are all double standards. You might get in trouble if you get involved with her. I presumed that she is now acquainted with the mafias."

"—or she became a whore and is sleeping with them." Fiona guessed. "Jasmine, Sarah's right. Just let it slide and ignore her if you happen to see her."

"Okay." Was all Jasmine said.

Anna was blankly staring at space in deep thought. She knows that Jasmine keeps her words but what if that girl do something to her sister, for they know that the girl is a real bitch and has a foul mouth.

"On second thought, I think I'll just come along with you." She decided. "I don't want to deal with caterpillars." She reasoned when her sisters frowned at her.

"Okay, get ready now, Daniel will be hereafter exactly thirty minutes to pick us up," Jasmine informed glancing at her watch.

"See you guys later!" Sarah said and got ready for her part-time job.

Anna strolled into her room then to her closet. She wore on a low neck black t-shirt which was good enough to cover her upper chest and a tight blue jean. She dashed out of the closet and strolled towards the mirror to do her hair. She combs her hair and left it to fall.

"Tie up in a ponytail," Jasmine suggested as she marched inside. She took the rubber band from her hand and started doing her hair. "This is better. You know guys mostly get attracted here." Jasmine mischievously smiled at her, tapping softly on Anna's exposed neck with her fingers.

"You look sexy, little sister." A sharp male voice said from behind.

"You're finally here, Daniel." Jasmine turned as he made his way inside the room and strolled towards them.

Daniel Pearson was tall and handsome with curly dark hair. He is twenty-one years old and is taking up computer courses along with Jasmine. They go to the same training centre. Though not blood related, he is like a brother to the William sisters and he loves Anna so much as a little sister.

"You finally agreed to hang out with us, huh!" Daniel said as he gently arm-locked Anna's head. Anna playfully jabbed back her forearm into his stomach and defence herself from his locked. She took him by his hand and rolled it at his back.

"Don't ever threaten me with caterpillars again," Anna warned him playfully from behind.

"Okay, I will never do that again." He surrendered quickly. Then she smiled widely before releasing his hand. "You've grown stronger, little sister." He said as he massaged his hand.

"She didn't even put a little strength in it. You are the one who's weak, Daniel." Jasmine pointed.

"Okay, I agree. C'mon now, let's get going." He said as he rested both his hands on either shoulder of the two ladies and lead them downstairs towards his car.

Sarah kept herself busy serving drinks to the people and glancing around the club and then to the double standards area, back and forth.

"Hey, Sarah isn't he hot!" Celine, her co-worker whispered to her gesturing forward. Sarah gave a lazy glance at the front to see the guy but her attention caught on someone else. She watched the grandsons of the De Luca Don's climbing up the stairs disappearing into the double standard area. They were three of them.

"Hey, What's up?" Sarah drew back her attention in the front and saw Daniel, Jasmine and Anna standing by the table counter, looking at her.

"You're all are here finally and I know just what to serve you all." Sarah winked at them as she started preparing the drinks to serve them. "Two martini cocktails for the two besties and a lemonade for my little sister." She placed the drinks on top of the counter in front of them.

"Thank you very much, Sarah," Daniel said before sipping his drinks and let out a satisfied loud groaned after feeling the tastes in his lips. "You are the only one who knows how to make the best cocktail around here, Sarah." He complimented loudly as the music inside the club was deafening while the ladies laughed at him. After the drinks, Daniel and Jasmine went and joined the dance floor. Anna refused to join them and stayed with Sarah.

Anna sat by the bar with her sister like an innocent kid waiting for their parents to come and pick them up from school. Every time she looks around inside, seeing people getting all hot and dirty, couples kissing and sucking shamelessly and strippers entertaining the people around, she'd make a disgusted face and turn away but they were everywhere. Then she turned her attention towards Daniel and Jasmine who were getting really high and was dancing like a mad people.

"What's happening to them?" She creased her brows and asked at Sarah but her eyes still locked at them.

"They're dancing," Sarah answered nonchalantly. "This is a club, dear. People always get high and forgets themselves."

"This is why I don't like clubs. This is way nastier than I expected." Anna complaint making a disgusted expression.

Soon Daniel and Jasmine retreated back and asked Sarah to make those cocktails again.

"Anna, you're missing all the fun. You should've joined us on the dance floor."

"No thanks, I'm comfortable being here."

"Long time no see, Daniel!" A familiar female voice addressed him from behind. They turned around to see the source. Jasmine scowled when she took notice of the girl in front of them while Sarah simply made a face of I-was-expecting-to-see-you-again.

"Katie—what the hell are you doing here?" Daniel glared right at her and asked.

"I can be wherever I—"

"Ignore her, Daniel." Jasmine interrupted and snapped loudly. Katie was affronted at her and made a face. She then angrily trudged towards Jasmine and roughly grabbed a handful of her hair on her hand.

"How dare you—" before Katie could finish her words, Jasmine angrily hold onto her wrist and gripped tightly on it making her loosen her fist over her hair and swapped her hand away to the other side. Katie cowered backwards when she jerked forward to throw a fist on her face but then Anna grabbed her by her arm and stop her from doing it. Katie shot a dangerous glare at Jasmine before angrily storming away from them.

"Don't you dare show your face again or I'll smack the shit out of that ugly face," Jasmine shouted angrily at her back. Katie heard that and stopped for a second and then continue to walk away.

Leo, Robert and Alesso were having business affairs with their clients.

"Did you find anything about Anita?" Leo asked as he leaned against the couch, his one arm resting over it.

"I have look for her everywhere but still no luck. There's not a single lady in this town that matches with her face." The informant said. "But I'll continue looking for sources to find her."

"Mmhh—keep looking. I'm sure she's hiding in every corner of this town."

"When was the last time she's been seen in this town?" Alesso asked.

"Thirteen years ago, Sir. Before the accident, she was spotted in the airport with a lady." The informant said placing the photo on the table in front of them. They looked into the photo and recognised Anita but didn't have any idea of the other lady.

"So you're saying that she met the lady before the accident happens and was never seen after that," Roberto concluded and the informant nodded at him. "Leo, do you think she died in that accident?" he asked looking at his brother.

"No sir, after the accident she was immediately taken to the hospital. I went to that hospital and inquired about it. The doctor who did her operation told me that she made it alive. But after some days, she went missing from the hospital. From that moment, no one has any tab on Anita and her friend and not even her daughters."

"Daughters. One of the daughters belongs to them." Alesso thought out loud.

"Her friend, She was the same lady on the picture." He added.

"Any tab on her friend?" Leo asked.

"Yes, sir. The lady is named Rachel Clearwater. She was a specialist surgeon in Livingstone Medical Centre. She left the city seven years ago." The informant answered.

"Where is she now?"

"I have searched for the flights' attendance of seven years ago. Her last stopped was California, LA."

"Looked into further information about this lady. She might be the only one who can lead us to Anita. You may leave now." The informant stood from his place and bowed at them before turning on his heels.

"Thirteen years ago and we've been looking for her in the wrong places for thirteen years," Alesso stated feeling dejected. "I need a drink." He straightened up from his position, then he looked to his side and tilted his head at his brothers. "Don't you guys want a drink?"

"Why are you asking while you probably know that I don't drink?" Leo asked through his lashes.

"Just in case you change your mind." Alesso grinned boyishly at his brother.

"Hello, my boys!" An elderly voice said from behind and all three of them look back over their shoulder. They knew who the man was.

"Ciao! Marco, how are you?" Leo asked over his shoulder.

"I'm doing fine," Marco said as he came around and settled on the couch opposite to them. He whistled to one of the strippers gesturing her to serve drinks to them.

"Your club is very nasty," Alesso said as he glanced at the strippers and whores moving around.

"It's business, my boy." Marco chuckled at him.

Marco Marino is the owner of The Royale Club. His youngest sister got married to their uncle, Francis De Luca, which make them relatives.

"Marco honey!" a female voice called out to him. The three of them gave her an unimportant glanced and looked straight. The lady came fake sobbing towards them.

"What happens, Katie dear?" Marco asked.

"There's a woman downstairs who had called me ugly." She complains.

"What! How dare she? Bring her to me." Marco ordered his two men.

"Really Zio!" Alesso made a face.

"Oh! Who are these gentlemen?" Katie asked after noticing them. She threw a seductive smile at Alesso to which Alesso scowled at her.

"No, my dear, you wouldn't want to seduce them if you want to see tomorrow. These are my far-nephews and they hate whores and strippers." Marco warned her playfully.

"Really! Then what are they doing in a place like here?" She sexily marched towards them but was stopped at her tracked when she noticed a gun pointing at her.

"One more step and I'll shoot you," Alesso smirked while Roberto chuckled looking at the horrid expression of the lady in front of them.

"That's none of your business," Leo answered expressionlessly.

Marco burst out laughing. "Come back here dear." He called Katie back to him under his laugh.

"This feels empty. Why has it turned silent all of a sudden?" Alesso wondered as he noticed that the loud music coming from downstairs was no more heard. Then he walks through the window span with a glass of wine in his hand. "Leo, Roberto, you might wanna come and see this." He said as he amusedly looked down through the window span. "The beautiful girl we met today. Anna!" At the mention of her name, Leo and Roberto quickly stood from their position and marched towards him.

"She's really something!"

Always smile,

Happy Virus.
