Anna retreated back to the reception where her sister Jasmine was waiting eagerly for her. She ignored her sister and attempt to get inside the kitchen but was ceased when Jasmine pulled her back by her arms.

"Where are you going, Anna?" Jasmine turned her around so that she could face her. "You're blushing!" She squealed when she noticed her little sister's chubby cheeks turning pale pink.

"No, I'm not." Anna snapped and looked away from her.

"Finally, she learned how to blush. Thanks to that handsome stranger." Jasmine said animatedly. "Tell me, did you feel butterflies in your stomach? Did your heartbeat skip when he caught you? Did you feel discomfort inside?"

"No, No, No." Anna lied. "And I don't know what you're talking about."

"C' mon, little sister, admit it that you felt it. It will be our little secret."

"I would love to admit it but sadly I didn't feel anything." She said with a sarcastic tone.

"Stoneheart! But it's going to melt soon. And when it does, I'm always here to listen." Jasmine cooed and winked amusedly at her little sister. Anna simply rolled her eyes over and dashed into the kitchen and never came out.

After the meal, the four of them stood from their place and strolled towards the reception. Leo asked for the bill and Jasmine handed him the bill card. Alesso kept glancing back at the kitchen door and Jasmine took notice of him.

"Looking for someone, sir!"

"Do you know where Anna is?"

"Why? Are you close with her?"

"Nah! I just wanted to say bye to her before leaving."

"My little sister is too shy to come out now," Jasmine said as she threw an amused glanced towards Leo.

"You're Anna's sister!" Alesso exclaimed and Jasmine nodded her head in response. "Hi, I'm Alesso. These are my brothers Leo, Rob and Nic."

"Hello, I'm Jasmine. Nice meeting you all."

"Never seen any of you around, newcomers!" she exclaimed jerking her eyebrows.

"Yes, arrive this morning." Roberto smiled and reply back. Leo extended his card forward to pay the bill, but Jasmine, instead of taking the card from him, she looks back over her shoulder and called out to Anna.

"Anna, I need your help now."

After a second or two, Anna came out from the kitchen and her eyes directly landed on the four brothers.

"Anna, can you please look over their bill. I need to go to the washroom." Jasmine cooed in a teasing tone before dancing out from the place.

Leo extended his card forward again to pay the bill; Anna took the card from him, never looking up to him.

"Anna, you're very beautiful." Nicolo complimented her as she swiped the card into the billing machine.

"Thank you, sir." Anna thanked him as she glanced confusedly at Alesso.

"Oh yes! Anna, these are my other two brothers, Nicolo and Roberto." Anna felt really awkward but managed to give them a small smile before checking on the bill. She then extended the bill receipt and the card back towards Leo.

"Thank you all for coming." She said courteously. "Please visit a-" her words gone midway when her eyes suddenly drifted towards the street opposite to their store. Her eyes slowly went wide in horror when she saw Peter being beaten up by some gangster. Leo was about to take back his card but Anna dashed out from the store along with his card.

"Peter!"

The four brothers simply stood there in confused while Jasmine came back from the washroom.

"Where's Anna?" she asked at the sudden disappearance of her sister.

"She went out-" Before Alesso could complete his words, Jasmine has already caught sight of Anna and was heading out of the store as well.

Peter was held on either side of his arms by the gangsters. Mrs. Bill came running out of the store and tried to free him.

"Leave my grandson alone or I'll call the police." She shouted and hit on the gangsters but one of the gangsters pushed her hard and she fell backwards. But before she could crash on the ground, Anna quickly came and caught her and steadied her. Without wasting a second, she charged forward and kicked the boy to Peter's right to the ground and punch hard to the boy on Peter's left. And as the man behind her was about to kick her on her back, Jasmine came to her defence and kicked that boy to the ground.

"Hey, girl! What's your problem, huh?" One of the gangsters shouted at Anna.

"You bloody gangsters are my problems. What the hell are you doing here? People like you are not welcome in this neighbourhood." Anna said calmly.

"Don't get involve, little girl." A man trudged forward between boys. "That boy!" he pointed towards Peter, "-has broken my daughter's heart."

Anna creased her eyebrow and looked back at Peter. "He's talking about Brenda. He's her father." Peter informed in a low-whisper voice so that only Anna could hear. Anna turned towards that man and made a face like she just got involved in this ridiculous nonsense.

"Oh, so you're that bitch father. Like father like daughter." Jasmine prodded and mocked at him.

"What did you say?" The man growled.

"You heard me right!" Jasmine sneered. Anna turned towards her and gave her a pointed look.

"Don't add fuel to the fire," Anna warned her whispering.

"You don't know whom you're talking to, stupid girl." The man seethed glaring at Jasmine.

"The infamous leader of Cross gang, Lukas Trivia, the so-called Mighty Killer." Jasmine deadpanned with a tone of sarcasm.

"Look, Sir, I don't know what your daughter told you but this I tell you, I don't like your daughter and never have I ever tried to get on her. Tell your daughter to find another guy and for god sake, tell her to leave me alone." Peter was just so very annoyed about all this nonsense. He couldn't help but scowl angrily.

"How dare you insult my daughter in front of me!"

"Look, Mister. Try to see what's going on here. Your daughter has always been the one to trouble him. But I can't blame her, this is how she has been brought up. You-"

"Shut up, little girl!" Lukas shouted and interrupted her. "Don't you dare try to lecture me." He sneered.

"Okay!" Anna snapped. "Though you are not welcome here you are most welcome to leave. Now get out of here before something serious happens." Anna said nonchalantly but her tone came out like a warning.

"Get this little bitch and that guy, right now!" Lukas ordered his boys. And soon boys took out their weapons and charged towards them.

"I've warned you already. Don't blame me for killing all of you." Anna said and marched forward to fight back but a hand came and took her by her wrist and she was pulled back. She snapped her head only to see Leo standing beside her.

"Fuck off, all of you!" Leo growled glaring to his front. All the boys stopped at once and gulped in fear.

"Leo, what're you doing here?" Lukas asked.

"Get your boys and get the hell out of here now." Leo ignored his question and warned him. "I'll deal with you later."

"Let's go!" Lukas shouted at his boys and soon they all retrieve back to the place from where they came, hell.

Anna quickly released her hand from him and move towards Peter. "You alright! Did they hurt you?" She asked scanning him from head to toe.

"I'm alright. You came and saved me at the right moment." Peter smile at her. "Thank you, Anna."

"That bitch is really creepy. What did you even do to her that she went to the extent of getting you to her through her father?" Jasmine asked amusedly.

"You should stay away from Brenda." Mrs. Bill said as she worried looked at her sweet grandson. "You should not let her come near you." Then she turned towards Anna and cupped her cheeks gently, "Thank you so much, my dear. Because of you and your sisters, this neighbourhood is safe from gangsters." Leo couldn't help but snort softly at her statement but Anna caught him and narrowed her eyes at him.

"You should go inside now. We'll be heading too. And if they come again, call us right away."Anna heard Jasmine saying to Mrs Bill and Peter as she moves towards Leo.

"You seem to be enjoying alone just now."

"If this is your way of saying 'thank you' then you're most welcome." Leo jerked an eyebrow and deadpanned. Anna rolled her eyes over and turn to walk away. "I wonder how a little girl like you is protecting this neighbourhood." He continued and mocked amusedly making Anna to stopped at her track and turned towards him. Anna hates when people call her a little girl especially by the person who is a complete stranger to her.

"Keep wondering!"

"The time has expired!"

"Good!"

"Anna let's get back!" Jasmine called her over her shoulder. Mrs. Bill and Peter had already gone inside.

"Coming!" she said glaring at Leo. She doesn't know why but Leo was really getting on her nerve. She turned away and cross the street and Leo followed her behind.

"Your boyfriend!" he asked.

"None of your business!" she said back over her shoulder.

"Were you really planning on beating up the boys earlier?" Leo asked behind her. She made a quick turn but unfortunately, she crashed her nose on Leo's hard chest. She groaned and fall backwards but Leo held her by her arm and steadied her. They were now standing in the middle of the road. Anna shoved her arm from his grip and glared up at him. "So?" he pressed.

"What do you think a little girl like me can do?" she crossed her arms over her chest and asked him.

"Nothing!" he deadpanned.

"Then why bother asking!"

"Just wanted to hear your stupid answer." He shrugged off. Anna sighed in disbelief and curled up her fingers into a fist in front of him trying her best not to strangle him. Roberto, Alesso, and Nicolo were already inside the car waiting for Leo while they watched him having a conversation with Anna in the middle of the road.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Alesso asked staring at them.

"I don't know what they're talking about but Anna seems really pissed," Roberto said.

"So Leo knows how to pissed a girl!" Nicolo said amusedly.

"I don't even know you so stop talking to me and stop getting on my nerve." Anna scowled and turned to walked away and Leo followed her behind.

"Hey, little girl!" Leo called her from behind when she was about to get inside.

"What!" Anna snapped angrily.

"Can I get my card back?" He deadpanned. Anna furrowed and suddenly felt something under her palm. His card was with her the whole time and she just realizes that now.

"Come and get it from the reception." Anna got inside without even turning back.

"Really!" he sighed.

Anna went towards the reception and placed the card on top of the table angrily. Jasmine, on noticing her angry gesture, found her amusing. "So finally there is some who can piss you off." She cooed.

"Don't start with me!" she warned. "He'll be here to get his card," Anna said before strolling inside the kitchen. And right as she entered inside the kitchen, Leo entered inside and strolled towards the reception.

"Here is your card, Leo." Jasmine smiled and extended him his card.

"Thank you." He took his card back and offered her a smile.

"By the way, what did you say to my sister that made her so piss off?" Jasmine asked amusedly. "You know, Anna's a really cool girl. She barely gets angry,"

"That's not true!"

"But it is. And I wanna know what you did to break the coolness in her in just a few minutes of knowing each other."

"I didn't do anything. Your sister is a short-tempered girl." Leo deadpanned.

"Well, I have to strictly disagree with you, Leo." Jasmine raised her brows and tilted her head slightly. "She's the coolest person you'll ever find in this town. The saviour of this neighbourhood." She added proudly.

"Saviour!"Leo jerked an eyebrow.

"I think I should stop talking about my sister or you might end up falling for her." She smiled cheekily. "All the men in this neighbourhood like her but is too chicken to confess her."

"And why is that!"

"I'll tell you the next time we meet again. See you around, Leo." She said cheekily and waved at him. Leo nodded at her before walking away.

"What took you so long?" Roberto asked as he saw him approaching the car. "I thought you were gonna spend the night there!" he added amusedly.

"Like hell!" Leo deadpanned and opened the car door of the driver's seat.
