Sameera

"I am Sapna's mate. I can locate her through the mate bond we share." Ansh said excitedly.

"Can he?" I asked, to which everyone nodded "Yes".

"Then what are you waiting for? Christmas." I spoke irritated of everyone's slow pace.

Glaring at me for a second Ansh closed his eyes. But when he opened his eyes after 5 minutes, he was more irritated than me, frowning dissapointedly at himself.

"I can't find her. Something's blocking me. I can feel her presence, her emotions, she is worried, scared and tired. She is waiting to be rescued. She is waiting for me." Ansh spoke emotionally.

If not for our presence, I bet he would have been crying by now. Water droplets formed at the corners of his eyes. I can't imagine how much pain he must be going through right now.

"That's not entirely your fault. That witchling did a spell on you that hampered your mate bond connection with Sapna. She made you believe that she was the real Sapna. She prevented Sapna from contacting you with that spell. It's broken now that she is dead. But the after effects may last for a while." Explained Joseph.

I nodded to myself in understanding. But Ansh seemed even more pathetic after hearing that piece of information.

"But we don't have that much time to wait for the spell to fade away completely." Ansh countered desperately.

"It's okay Ansh. We will figure out a way to reach her. At least now we know she is in danger, not with us. I am sure Suyash can help, and we have a werelock super cop with us. They can enhance the Mate bond network to reach her, crossing all the barriers." Said Trishna.

She is a year older than Ansh making her the rightful Alpha, but she refused the position. I don't know why though? She would have been a great Alpha, even better than Ansh, I think.

"Um, if you don't mind, may I know who is this Suyash and how can he help?" I asked out of curiosity.

Arav tried to hide his amusement, but I noticed.

"He is our pack doctor. The one who healed you after that full moon night. He is quarter Fae enabling him to use magic and other spells up to an extent along with his Werewolf abilities. He can help enhance the Mate bond network with Joseph's magic." I nodded, understanding her words. Fairies and Faes. Just what I was missing.

"Wait, Sameera can help. Smeeara is the one who saw Sapna's captive state, right. Then she can see her current state too. She can see where they are hiding Sapna. Then we just need to attack on full force and rescue her." Said Paras.

And then he made steady eye contact with Ansh and Trishna for a minute. They gazed at each other. After a second I understood that they were talking through the mind link, a form of werewolf telepathy.

"I agree with Paras. Even I was wondering why none of our memory wipe abilities worked on Sameera. Why she could see the truth about Sapna while even I couldn't. There is no doubt that Sameera is no ordinary human."

I am not?

"And from what we saw till date, I think I she is a Seer. If I am not wrong, she can see and try to find Sapna's whereabouts." Ansh concluded his speech.

Now that was a real shocker. I am a supernatural. I can't believe this.

But maybe he is right. I can't deny that even I had the feeling of being a supernatural creature for a short while. I just couldn't find any signs suggesting that I belonged to any specific supernatural race. I had a crash course on all the races last night from Arav.

"What's a Seer?" I asked.

I don't remember Arav telling me about a supernatural race called 'Seer'. Do they also suffer from sleep and dream dysfunctions? Or is it because of being immune to memory erasal spells?

"A Seer is someone who has the ability to see anything he or she wishes, be it past, present or future regarding anything or anyone. It's what humans call seeing premonitions. Only humans tend to have the ability of a Seer or Receiver. But they are very rare."

"Especially the Receivers. They are the ones who can hear whatever they want from whomever, wherever and whenever. They are also able to feel what others are feeling. They receive messages from the environment, even if it's not sent to them. And with too much concentration, they can contact anyone using the mind link." Described wolverine before Arav could.

"But I also heard her conversation with her kidnappers, I heard them talking ill of her. Every word. I also felt her pain. In fact I felt like I was inside her body. Does that happen with Seers?" I asked confused of my newfound speciality.

"Not that I know of. But some Seers  have had out of body experience before. If you are saying that you felt being inside her body, then I guess it clears everything. You are a Seer. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's the only logical explanation of your abilities right now." Ansh said noticing my astonishment.

Not only me, but everyone in the room was as much surprised by Ansh's hypothesis regarding me.

"But then I should be able to see her anytime, anywhere I want. Then why is it that I can only see her in my dreams? I also had a dream last night of Sapna. But her eyes were blindfolded this time and some vampire, tried to feed her a stale piece of meat, which she wouldn't eat otherwise." Trust me. That was the worst experience of my life till date.

"I have been trying since yesterday to see her again, I concentrated, even tried to daydream about her, but I was able to see nothing. I couldn't even feel being in her body like I felt when she was blindfolded. Why couldn't I if I am a Seer?" I asked recalling my last dream about Sapna. I need to know better if I am to locate her.

"The abilities of a Seer and a Receiver varies in quality and intensity. Some people in different supernatural communities possess a special gift exclusive of their hereditary abilities. Just like that, some humans are gifted with either Seer or Receiver abilities. But as I said it varies from individual to individual. Maybe your powers work better when you are dreaming, as you were ignorant of your gift. But now that you know, possibly they will operate as per your will soon." That came from wolverine.

He makes everything so easy to understand. No wonder Arav let's him explain everything to his superiors.

"Um sorry to interrupt but Alpha, we have an uninvited visitor." Said a soldier wolf of the pack.

We followed him outside to find a chubby 5'3", chocolate skinned, brown short and straight haired girl.

She was disappointed to see us. She looked for someone else to arrive behind us. "What business do you have here, she-wolf?" Ansh asked her.

Oh, so she is a werewolf too. Werewolves can smell their species and many other species too. Though recognizing werewolves and vampires comes naturally to them than recognizing any other species. Arav told me all this.

But who is she looking for in this pack territory other than the Alpha and Beta? She seems to be waiting for the arrival of someone in particular.

"Um, hello, you must be the Alpha. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I am Mitali sheikh from Wolf's Blade pack. Your mate Sapna is my childhood friend."

Oh. So she is Sapna's friend. Or maybe she is another lying imposter. Whoever she is, friend or foe, Joseph would know soon enough.

"I came here to meet her and congratulate you both personally for your upcoming mating ceremony as I won't be able to attend. So may I know where she is? Sapna, I mean. Where's Sapna?" The question which left us all dumbfounded.

Ansh and Paras were about to attack her when Trishna signaled them to stop.

"I know her. Sapna told me about her once. She is her best friend from her previous pack. I think we should tell her everything. She might help us to locate her." Said Trishna to which our super cop pair disagreed saying it will be bad if the word spreads, but Ansh permitted. He is willing to do anything to find Sapna.

We all sat in the living room while Trishna explained everything to Mitali. Apparently my stomach growled signalling the activation of my hunger drive. Arav's stomach followed after mine leaving us both embarrassed. That lead me to the conclusion that Supernatural creatures posses less appetite than humans.

Mitali started sobbing after knowing the mishap with her friend. Though Trishna was able comfort her enough to stop shedding tears.

"I don't know what to say. I came here to celebrate her happiness, but this is so very bad. I promise to help you as much as I can. I give you my word."

Jeez. She cries too much for a werewolf. But then again, she's just a teenager whose friend has been kidnapped.

"Do you have any idea where they have relocated her to?" Asked Mitali, still sobbing.

"We don't know. But we are guessing Sameera might be a Seer. She can help us find Sapna's current location with her powers, if she can control them." Said Ansh.

Then Mitali looked at me and said,"I am so grateful to you for saving my friend's life. Kind humans are so rare these days. And you are still helping to rescue her. Have you tried to look for her using your powers?" She asked.

"Yes I tried, I have been trying even harder since you arrived, but seems like my powers only work while I am asleep. I hope you can provide me some tips on that. And thanks for your kind words." I told her disappointed at myself.

Why can't I see her in my conscious state?

"So you saw, heard and felt what she saw, heard and felt but only in your dreams. And that made you remember about her, even after your memories were erased by professionals, right?" She asked enquiring to which I nodded yes.

"Hmm. Well, has her blood ever entered into your body by any means?"

I squeezed my eyes together at her sentence. What kind of question is that? But then I thought clearly.

"Yes, it has maybe. I mean, the night I helped her, I was injured as well. While cleaning her wounds our respective injuries must have touched." I replied.

"You sure?" She asked again.

I emersed myself in that night's flashback to be sure.

"Yes. Actually our injuries did touched, now that I think of it. But what does it have to do with the current problem?" I asked confused.

"That clears everything. Sorry to say Sameera, but you are no Seer. My Nani maa (maternal grandmother) was a seer herself. So I can identify a Seer or a Receiver when I see one."

Come again

"I was surprised when Ansh said you are a Seer, whereas I felt no such special aura around you that my Nani maa had. Don't mind me saying, but you are purely human. I feel no other special aura around you that would make you different from a human. You have no specific Aura of either a Seer or Receiver." Mitali said.

"How can you be so sure?" I asked. I felt disappointed with her revelation.

"I am sure because my maternal bloodline possesses the ability to sense all kinds of supernatural aura. And I sense no such supernatural aura around you, except for a weird shadow which I am unable to recognise." She explained.

Apparently, Mitali inherited this ability from her mother (who is the human mate of her werewolf father) who inherited this ability from her father and the family tree goes on. This concludes that Mitali is half werewolf, half human. A 'half breed' as Joseph categorised her.

"What shadow?" Asked Arav.

"I said I don't know. It's harmless, if you are concerned for Sameera's safety. But other than that, I can't tell what the shadow stands for?" She replied.

Maybe the shadow is a result of my psychological history or something. That's something I can deal with later.

"But then, how am I being able to see Sapna? Explain that please." I prompted.

"The only reason you are seeing Sapna in your dreams is because she is making you see."

My superpower bubble just got busted by a 17 year old she-wolf.

"What are you saying? How can Sapna make her see things? Sameera is only a human, as you confirmed. Even I can't connect with her and I am her mate." Ansh questioned.

"Sapna can make anyone see, hear and feel what she sees, hears or feels who has a blood connection with her. Such as her immediate blood relatives or anyone who has her blood inside their body. It's her gift."

Newsflash. Sapna is a Gifted too. Like her mate, Ansh. Now this is called  'A Match made in heaven'.

"Sameera had an immediate blood contact with Sapna during that night, leading to the formation of a blood connection between them. Sapna is trying to contact Sameera to help her, cause she is the only one in this world right now who Sapna can connect with, regardless of all barriers. Sameera has no powers, Sapna has." That made me remember what that wicked witchling mentioned.

"Yes, remember that witchling said that Sapna was gifted. This is what she meant." Said Arav to which everyone consented.

"But then why does she only contact me in my dream, why not when I am trying to contact her as well?" I asked Mitali.

"Sameera, I don't know. She should be able to connect with you whenever she wants. But as much as I know, when a person is mentally strong, it isn't easy to enter their consciousness. You are a strong willed, brave and confident person from what I gathered. There is no doubt you are mentally strong." So many theories about me in one single day.

"Hence, Sapna's only able to contact you while you are asleep; unconscious and relaxed. She can connect with you only when you have an open mind to outside stimulations." She explained.

This seems more logical than me being a Seer. But the question remains.

"But that doesn't change anything. How are we supposed to find her then? The solution is still unknown." Ansh sighed.

"Actually no. It's even easier to locate her now that you have a blood connection with Sapna." Said wolverine.

I cocked my eyebrows at him asking "how" in response to which he only smirked wider.
