(Enter Emma, Olivia, Ava, and Mia.)

Olivia : Alright guys, this time I know we will catch Santa this year!

Mia: But if we catch him he probably will put us on the naughty list and I've tried really hard to be good all year.

Ava: No you haven't you've been really mean!

Mia: Have not!

Ava: Have too!

Emma: Guys! Be quiet! The elf on the shelf is watching!

Olivia: Oh no! He'll tell Santa our master plan!

(Get in a circle and start whispering then break up the circle and start wandering around the room. Suddenly Mia leaps on the elf and with the help of the others gags, blindfolds, and ties it to a bench leg.)

Emma: That's for telling Santa I ate his cookies last year!

Olivia: Guys I hear the reindeer on the roof! (Shrieks) HE'S HERE!!!!

Emma: Shhh! We want to catch him by surprise! Quick hide!

(Everyone hides. Enter Santa.)

Santa: Ho, ho, ho! (Gets to work.)

Everyone: SANTA!!!!!!

(Emma hugs Santa andOliviatackles him so he falls over. Ava and Mia dump out his bag and rummage thru the things.)

Santa: But how? I had the elf on the shelf watching you!

Ava: Ha! I knew it all along! But mom said it wasn't really watching us and it was just a toy!

Emma: I bet parents were in league with Santa and his clever way of spying on us!

Mia: Let's overthrow Santa and his spies and take over his factory forever!

Santa: Noooooo!

(They toss a blanket over his head and all exit except for Santa who is struggling with the blanket. Re-enter Emma as Mrs. Claus.)

Mrs. Claus: Wake up, Honey! (Santa wake up.) Having nightmares again?

Santa: Yes.

Mrs. Claus: Is it the one were the cookies come alive and eat you with milk?

Santa: No, this time there were a couple of kids who tied up their elf on the shelf and then I didn't know they were awake so they captured me and overthrew us all!

Mrs. Claus: Oh, that's awful!

(Enter Ava and Mia as Elf 1 and Elf 2.)

Elf 1: Sir! It's been reported that all across the country our spies are being imprisoned and even murdered!

Elf 2: And there is a mob of angry children coming this way!

Santa: Noooooo!

(All freeze then get in line and bow.)
