It's always interesting to see how your drawing has changed and improved. Here is my original drawing of my OC Ash and the one on the right is my redraw.

I'm really happy with how my drawings have changed and grown. Colouring is one thing. I used to just lightly colour in my pictures but now I press down harder on the pencil crayon so I can get a nice clear colour.

In a redraw, it's also good to look at what didn't work in the original. Such as the hair, in his instance. The random black lines made it look weird so I needed to try a new way of drawing it. As well as the fire on the shirt. It made the picture look a little tacky so I switched it for a simple necklace. The colours I used were also less bright in the redraw, so it made the character look more mature.

I tried to keep the basic things of the character the same. Her pose, hair colour, eyes, outfit. The new version still is reminiscent of the first but much cleaner. It's also one of the only pictures where I didn't mess up too much on the outline!
