The wagon was picking up speed now. Alexis tugged frantically at her knots keeping the handle up, but her shaking fingers could barely grasp it. Maybe it had been a bad idea to go down the tallest hill in Allegra City in a wagon.

She glanced down, and immediately wished she hadn't. The ground was passing by too fast. No, this was a really bad idea-

A completely different sound began: wheels on concrete. Alexis whirled around. The wagon was hurtling along the sidewalk, right towards someone's garage.

She gripped the sides of the wagon and prepared for the crash.

I found the energy and inspiration to write this a day too late to submit for @action's Write to Rank contest. And that's probably for the best, anyway, because it takes all the stress out of writing this and makes it into simply a fun prompt. Hope you enjoyed!
