Meanwhile, Frisk woke up to the two buttons. 'CONTINUE' 'RESET' She reached for 'CONTINUE' when a black shadowy vine grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. "YoU'rE nOt StOpPiNg Me ThIs TiMe." She turned and saw Chara, but she was different. She was glitching. Frisk tried to pull her hand away but they held a tight grip on her. "Stop it Chara!" She yelled. Chara simply smiled. "No. YoU cAn LeArN wHaT iT's LiKe To Be FoRgOtTeN." Suddenly, the vines pulled her so hard she fell away and then, nothing. A loud 'bing' was heard as a button was clicked.

3 Years Later~

It's been 3 years since that day, but no one remembers. Except Sans. He remembers everything. Like how Flowey killed Frisk, and that Frisk reset but never came back. Sans went to the Ruins everyday, waiting for Frisk to walk through those doors... but nothing happened. The barrier was never broken. The monsters never knew they had freedom and yet... they all felt like something was missing but they could never guess what it was.

Sans sat outside the door to the ruins, waiting for it to open so he could hug, cry and yell at Frisk. He missed her so much. During the time she has been gone, Sans has realised he had feelings for her. He put his head in his bones hands and sighed. "She's not coming back... is she?" He asked himself before sighing again and standing. "Bye kid. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." He said as he began to walk away.

Sans POV:

I'm in my room, thinking about what's just happened... Oh yeah, you don't know. So basically, I was at the Ruins which you all know when you went through them after sparing or killing Toriel, whichever route you decided to take and before you go on about saying, 'FOURTH WALL BREAKER' or something like that, it's Sans. Whatd you expect. So anyway, I was bored of waiting so I decided to leave.. and then...

~FLASHBACK~

As he was leaving, Flowey popped up in front of him. "No need to sulk comedian. She's not gone forever." Sans jumped at the voice and then summoned 5 gaster blasters. A bit overkill yeah, but he didn't care. "Hold on. You want to hear what I have to say." Sans glared at the flower but kept the blasters from shooting. "Frisk isn't gone forever. She's in a coma. Outside the world." Flowey said and Sans looked at him confused. "What are you talking about, weed?" Flowey rolled his eyes. "Frisk was going to pick the 'CONTINUE' button when Chara stopped her, sent her into a coma and then hit 'RESET'." Flowey said in a 'its so obvious' tone. "How do you know this?" Sans asked, curious. "Because it's me. I always know." Flowey said, proudly. Sans rolled his eyes and the blasters disappeared. "Whatever weed, I'm going home. She's not back and I don't care what you have to say." He said before trying to step on Flowey but he disappeared.

But yeah, as you can see, I have a lot to think about. What I wanna know is of that Flowey was telling the truth, does that mean Chara now has Frisk's soul? I honestly don't know. I let out a sigh and heard a knock at the door. "Come in Pap." He walked in. "SANS, YOU'VE BEEN IN YOUR ROOM ALL DAY. YOU'VE BEEN ACTING LIKE THIS FOR A WHILE NOW AND IM WORRIED ABOUT YOU." I laughed slightly. "WHY DON'T YOU JOIN ME AND UNDYNE LATER FOR TRAINING?" He offered. I shook my head. "No thanks bro. Imma just stay here." I said before closing my eyes. "YOU NEED TO STOP BEING SO LAZY SANS." He walked out the door and I heard a loud thump. I sat up when I heard him yell from downstairs. "AND PICK UP YOUR SOCKS!" I laughed and laid back down. Some day... I know it...
