Naruto and Inari were having a scene full of snot and tears as I waited next to Haku and Zabuza.

"I would like to thank you for saving our lives and also apologize for our actions." Haku stated and I nodded in response, closing my eyes.

"You were just following orders." They left it at that and walked away without another word.

"Half-pint three o'clock." Sasayaki hissed just as I felt a tug on my robe. Looking down I noticed a very nervous looking boy.

"I-I u-umm.. Well... thankyouverymuch!" The boy bowed slightly as he trembled causing my eyebrows to furrow in thought. The boy's hair was blonde, uncut and very messy and his clothes weren't in the best shape either. When he looked back up at me I immediately grabbed his hand and began walking away from my team and into the town.

"W-wait! W-what're you d-doing?!" The boy cried out with wide dark red eyes and I came to an abrupt stop causing him to run into my back before falling on the ground. Turning towards him, I noticed just how skinny he really was.

"You don't have a home do you?" I asked and the boy looked away from me, unresponsive.

"Kami? Where are you going with thisss?" Sasayaki questioned, finally awake.

"He is a stray child. I am going to keep him and give him a home." I stated helping the boy up, who now had tears in his eyes.

"A h-home?" I nodded as I grabbed his hand once again and led him to a small clothing store.

"How old are you?"

"N-nine."

"Do you have a name?"

"N-no..." I paused as I scanned over the clothes the store had to offer.

"Seiichi," The boy didn't seem to understand as he opened his mouth to question me, but I stopped him by shoving a jacket in his face before grabbing a pair of white shorts and a black tanktop. "Go try these on and I'll wait for you here, if they fit I will get a few more outfits for you that should fit you according to those sizes. Now hurry up, I still have to find you some shoes and get back to my team." Shoving Seiichi towards the changing room lightly I turned to see a woman with long black hair that seemed to be blushing.

"You and your brother are so cute!" The woman hugged me tightly before handing me some candy and running off. I blinked at the candy, confused by the woman's actions, but continue on looking for some sandals that could fit Seiichi.

"U-umm sir? They fit."  Seiichi called and I nodded handing him some black sandals.

"Try these." Remembering the sizes I handed him earlier, I grabbed a few t-shirts and shorts before walking up to the counter, making sure to grab Seiichi as well since he was still wearing the clothes and sandals I had picked for him. The woman at the counter smiled kindly at us and began adding up the total.

"3,903.55 yen." Seiichi's jaw dropped and I nodded pulling out my wallet and handing the woman the exact amount as she put the clothing into a bag.

"Thank you." Grabbing the bag and Seiichi's hand I led him back to the bridge. Seiichi's stomach suddenly made a grumbling sound causing the poor nervous boy to blush in embarrassment. Pausing mid-step I turned to him and handed him the candy the woman handed me earlier.

"Here, we do not have time to stop for food at the moment, so this will have to work for now. I will get you something to eat when I can." As I began walking again I noticed Seiichi staring at me, but I didn't question it as I hurried along the bridge. Just before I reached my team Seiichi's hand suddenly left mine and arms were thrown around me from behind.

"T-thank y-you sir!" I smiled down at the nine year old before ruffling his hair.

"It's Kami, not sir." Seiichi nodded sudden looking more determined than he was a minute ago.

"Right!"

"Kami? Who is that?" Seiichi's suddenly determined demeanor switched at almost the exact time as Kakashi spoke, the boy suddenly hiding behind me.

"This is Seiichi. I will be taking him home with me." Kakashi nodded as I shoved the boy in front of everyone.

"YOU CAN'T JUSSST KIDNAP SOME RANDOM KID!" Sasayaki suddenly yelled causing me to groan internally.

"It's not kidnapping if he doesn't have a place to go." I argued calmly and she didn't respond.

"I believe you still owe us an explanation Kami." Kakashi interrupted the silence and I sighed knowing what he wanted.

"When I was younger I was taken from my family by a certain person who took me to his leader. They did a whole bunch of experiments on me, the whole time I couldn't see anything because of the bandages around my eyes... eventually two syringes were stabbed into my eyes, altering them for good. The reason I gained the sharingan is because whatever was injected into my eyes is supposed to make it possible for me to gain the Dōjustus. As for my snake eyes, I cannot really explain that. It just happens whenever I summon or need to use my snakes." Kakashi nodded not asking any further questions, but I could tell he was thinking. Out of nowhere a small dog ran past me and went right up to Kakashi, who bent down as soon as the dog reached him.

"Alright. Kami, Pakkun here is going to guide you to what you are looking for. Be ready to go soon." I nodded looking down at Seiichi.

"Seiichi," the boy looked up at me. "Do you want my team to take you to my home in Konoha or would you rather stay with me while I go on a personal misson?" I asked and the boy instantly paled.

"I-I want to stay with you if t-that's ok..." I nodded letting him know that it was fine with me before motioning him to climb onto my back. He did so without question as Sakura walked up to me.

"Hold it there Kami! Who exactly did those experiments on you?" She asked quite rudely and I didn't respond causing her to huff in frustration. "I have a right to know. I am your teammate after all."

"Says the teammate who jumped to conclusions and slapped me for no reason," I glared at her causing her to take a step back. "You have no rights to know anything about me until you actually trust me. As your teammate I have a right of my own. Keeping my past to myself." I nodded at Pakkun who took off in return and I immediately ran after him ignoring my team's calls.
