Jasmine pov
After awhile, Jasmine exited her room and walked back down the stairs where Sidney was on the phone with someone. "Who is it?" Jasmine asked quietly.
"Hmm, oh just Randy." Sidney responded with a small smile, earning an understanding nod in
return.
"Do you like scary movies, Sidney?" 'Randy asked her, his voice sounding unusually familiar.
"I like that thing you're doing with your voice, Randy, It's sexy." Sidney said, laughing slightly.
"What's your favorite scary movie?" He asked her, Sydney furrowing her brows at the familiar question, a shot of alarm going through her, praying the person on the other end of the phone wasn't who she thought it was.
"Oh, come on, you know I don't watch that shit." Sidney told him, causing Jasmine to shoot her an offended look. "Why not? too scared?" He asked.
"No,no, It's just, what's the point? they're all the same." Sidney said, throwing her arm out. "some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can't act, who's always running up the stairs when she should be going out the front door, It's insulting."
"Are you alone in the house?" 'Randy' questioned, causing Sydney to stand up straight in small alarm.
"Randy, that's so unoriginal, I'm disappointed in you." Sidney said, the cousin to share a look as Sidney kneeled on the couch to look out the windows.
"Maybe that's because I'm not Randy." The man said, sending a chill down Sydney spine.
"So, who are you?" Sidney asked after a moment of silence, standing up from her spot on the couch.
"The question isn't who am I? who question is where am I?" The man said taking the phone from Sidney's hands, Jasmine asked slowly. "So, where are you?"
"Your front porch." The man responded, causing Sydney faces to drop.
"Great idea, Sid, go to the front porch where a potential psychopath is." Jasmine muttered to herself before asking, "Why would you be calling from my front porch?"
"That's the original part." He responded.
"Oh, yeah?" Sydney asked as Sidney looked out the window on their door. "I call your bluff."
"So, where are you?" Sydney asked him, already knowing Sidney was standing on the porch alone.
"Right here." The man responded, causing Sydney to spin around quickly, only to exhale in relief when she realized nothing was there.
Joining her cousin on the porch, Jasmine questioned the man. "Can you see Sidney right now?"
"Uh-huh." The man said in confirmation.
"Okay, what is she doing, huh?" Jasmine asked, knowing if this situation wasn't so serious she would have laughed at the sight of Sidney picking her nose.
"Huh? what am I doin? Hello!" Sidney called out, only to receive no response.
"Nice try, Randy." Jasmine laughed, "Tell Tatum to hurry up, okay? bye now." The two cousins linked arms, making their way back inside.
"If you hang up on me, you'll die just like your mother!" The man said, causing both girls faces to drop and them to freeze, knowing this definitely wasn't Randy.
"Do you wanna die, Sydney? your mother sure didn't." The man told them, causing Sydney hold on her cousin arm to tighten.
"Fuck you, you psycho!" Sydney snapped, the two girls quickly rushing inside and shutting the door.
Although to no avail, as the killer popped out of the hall closet and swung his knife at Sidney
which she managed to dodge but the killer knocked both girls to the ground.
The killer crawled on top of Sidney and tried to stab her as she desperately held the knife above her head, not willing to let her cousin die
Jasmine kicked the killer off of her cousin which made him turn and slam her into the ground, causing her to groan painfully.
The killer turned back to Sidney and held his knife up, preparing to stab her as Sidney went wide-eyed, quickly kicking the killer off of her and trying to open the door, not realizing it was latched.
Knowing they weren't gonna make it out the door, Jasmine quickly grabbed her cousin hand as they turned and raced up the stairs with the killer hot on their trail.
Making it to Sidney's bedroom, Jasmine quickly swung the door shut and locked it, Sidney putting her closet door in front of her bedroom one so the killer couldn't open it.
Sidney picked up the phone and tried to dial 911 only to realize the phone line was dead. "Shit!" She cried, as the killer got closer to busting down the door. Sidney turned to her computer and typed in 911, getting an answer this time. Then it suddenly stopped, the killer was gone.
Hearing a thud at Sidney's window, both girls jumped and turned towards it, only to realize it was Billy. "Billy!" Sidney cried, rushing over to the window and helping him inside.
"The door's locked, I heard screaming, you all right?" Billy asked, looking over at Jasmine.
"The killer's here, he's in the house." Sidney said, clinging tightly to her boyfriend. "He's in the house, he's got a knife."
"He's gone, he's gone." Billy comforted "It's all right." everything was fine until something dropped out of Billy's pocket, a mobile phone.
"What?" Billy asked as Sidney slowly unwrapped her arms from around him.
Sydney slowly backed away from him quickly grabbed ahold of her cousin hand, the two rushing out of the room. "Whoa, whoa, wait, wait wait, Sidney, Jasmine, wait! wait, wait, wait, wait, what's going on? girls, come back!"
Sidney opened the door in a panic only for both girls to scream making Jasmine punch him, as they came face to face with the killer's mask, Dewey screaming in surprise and pain. "Sorry! I found this, ow you hit hard, come on!" Dewey said.
Jasmine and Sidney now sat side by side in an ambulance as the Sheriff and Dewey walked over to them. "Well, we're seein' a lot of you today."
"You girls gonna be able to come down to the station and answer a few questions?" Dewey asked them.
"Oh, shit! Sidney! Jasmine!" Tatum called out, quickly running over to them. "God, I'm so sorry I was late, are you all right?"
"Tatum, you can't be here, this is an official crime scene." Dewey said, attempting to drag his sister away.
"It's okay." Sidney told him quietly.
"Her dad's out of town, alright? they're staying with us tonight." Tatum told him.
"Does mom know?" Dewey asked her. "Yes, doofus." Tatum responded.
"Let's get you out of here." The Sheriff said, helping the two girls out of the ambulance.
"They'll be okay." Tatum said. "Thanks."
The two girls got in the car as they clung to one another for comfort. As the car started up, they saw Gale Weathers get out of her car and call out for them as they drove away.

"Did you find him?" Sidney asked, referring to her dad Neil Prescott.
"You sure it was the hilton?" Dewey asked them, the two girls turning to face him. "at the airport." Jasmine nodded.
"He's not registered there, could he have stayed somewhere else?" Dewey asked.
"I don't know." Sidney said tiredly. "I guess."
"Don't worry, girls, we'll find him." Dewey said reassuringly, placing a hand on Sid's knee who was sitting closest to him.
An officer walked up beside Dewey and placed some papers down. "Dewey, they got that mask in." Dewey grabbed the papers and stood up, pushing his chair in before walking off. "I'll be right back." He told them.
Although Sidney refused to look, Jasmine turned and make direct eye contact with Billy who stared back at her she looked smirked at him before catching up with her cousin.
After awhile of waiting, Billy was dragged out of the room he was in as he called out to the two girls. "Sidney! Jasmine, come on, you know me, Sidney, look at me! Come on!"
Tatum walked over and wrapped her arms around them, "Hey, we're gonna get you both out of here, okay?" both girls nodded in response, sniffling a little, exhausted from the nights events.
"Oh, come on!" Tatum said impatiently as she stood in between the two girls chairs. "hey, Dewey, can we go now?"
"Hold on a second." Dewey said, holding up a finger in their direction. "Goddammit, Dewey!" Tatum said.
"What did mama tell you? when I wear this badge, you treat me like a man of the law!" Dewey practically whined at his sister.
"I'm sorry, deputy dewey-boy, but we're ready to go." Tatum semi-shouted at her brother,
"Now, okay?"
"Take 'em out the back way, avoid that circus out there." The sheriff told Dewey.
The three made their way out of the station as Dewey and Tatum continued to bicker exiting the building "You guys just stay here, I'm gonna get the car, don't move, don't make a sound." Dewey told them.
The three girls stood there as Tatum rubbed both their backs supportively, only to hear a voice call out to them. "there they are, girls!" The girls turned as Gale Weathers ran over to them.
"Hi, that's some night, what happened? are you all right?"
"They're not answering any questions, alright, just leave us alone." Tatum said, moving the microphone from Sidney's face.
"No, Tatum, it's okay, she's just doin' her job, right, Gale?" Sidney said, pushing Tatum back lightly, and after years of reading her cousin's actions, Jasmine knew her cousin was about to throw down.
"Yes, that's right." Gale nodded. "So, how's the book?" Sidney asked.
"Well, it'll be out later this year " Gale said, obviously surprised.
"Oh, I'll look for it." Sidney said, her voice wavering as she turned to walk away.
"I'll send you a copy." Gale said, just in time for Jasmine to turn and punch her, sending her back into the camera man's arms.
Dewey quickly ran up to them and grabbed Jasmine, escorting the girls to the car as he held onto her arm "Where'd you learn to punch like that?"

"God, I loved it." Tatum said as she and Jasmine layed side by side on her bed, Jasmine wanting to give her cousin some space because of everything she was going through, a bandage on her head
"I'll send you a copy, bam! bitch went down,I'll send you a copy, bam! Jassy superbitch! you are so cool."
"Thought you might want some ice for that right hook." Dewey said, tossing Jasmine the pack of ice in his hands. "Thanks." Jasmine said.
"I'll be right next door, try to get some sleep." Dewey told them, as Tatum waved her brother off. "Yeah, yeah." Turned to face Jasmine, Tatum asked. "Do you really think Billy did it?"
Sydney tried to give a proper response, but all she could say was. "He was there, Tatum."
"He was destined to have a flaw, I knew he was too perfect." Tatum said, bobbing her head, a knock at the door interrupted their conversation, "Telephone, honey" Tatum's mom said.
"Who is it?" Tatum asked. "It's for the girls"
Tatum's mom responded. "My dad?" Sidney asked hopefully
"I don't think so." Tatum's mom shook her head.
"Take a message." Tatum said leaning back against the headboard.
"No, um, I'll get it." Sydney said, standing up from the bed and making her way out of the room to where the phone was.
"Hello." Sydney greeted, picking up the phone.
"Hello, Sydney." The killer said.
"No!" Sydney shouted.
"Poor Billy-boyfriend, an innocent guy doesn't stand a chance. " The killer said mockingly.
"Leave me and my cousin alone!" Sydney exclaimed desperately, tired of the man who had already taken so much from her.
"Looks like you fingered the wrong guy, again." The killer told her.
"Who are you?" Sydney asked in confusion, not knowing what the killers words meant.
"Hang up, syd." Jasmine begged.
"Don't worry, you'll find out soon enough, I promise." The killer told her, the line going dead not to long after.
"What?" Dewey ran out of his room a moment too late, as Sydney sat the phone down and rubbed the back of her neck uncomfortably as the girls all left the room. "What?"
