SO I REALIZED THAT YOU GUYS - MANY OF YOU SEEM TO BE CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THIS STORY.

SO THIS IS JUST A LITTLE OVERVIEW OF WHAT YOU'VE ALL READ SO FAR:

·      The story starts off with Kaden and a woman, getting a phone call, it's in the past. There you learn that he and this woman have seven children, they just had the seventh, eight weeks ago.

·      Then you have more information from the past, Lana rejects him when he is thirteen years old.

·      He goes to find Etta because she's been calling him, but he doesn't know whom she is... This part was tricky to write because if you all go back and read that chapter you see or get the feeling that Etta already knows who he is. The things she says, the way she reacts to him showing up at her place isn't normal... It's there, but I think I wrote it so subdued that it probably didn't seem that way.

·      You learn that Kaden/Reese can't remember certain parts of his life the first reason he says is because whatever was done to him took some memories away. The second time, we still don't know what happened.

·      We learn that both those two black spots in his mind, they have to do with Etta.

·      Kaden also comes to find out information about Etta as well, her history. If you're reading my other stories with Chelsea/Gabriel/Oakley and the gang, you should see that Wyatt is the Fae that Wolf told Chelsea about. Kaden and Etta are the two that Gabriel also has contact/connections with. So while we are in the present with Chelsea/Gabriel, Etta and Kaden's story are still in the past.

·      Etta calls her two children Kiki and Coco, tells Kaden they are nicknames, and that their father has never been in the picture.

·      Kaden gets a call phone his foreman on a project he's handling, and he Etta, Myles and Vivian go to New York.

·      While Kaden is in Manhattan, in Scarborough, New York in her childhood home, Etta takes Myles and Vivian to the park. 

·      When Kaden heads to Etta, he finds her in the middle of a fit, trashing an office, blubbering about two children, that they are alive and so on. He has no idea what she's talking about at all so when she finally cries herself to sleep he goes to check on Myles and Vivian and just then Sean and John show up and explain to him.

·      IN CHAPTER NINE: Kaden learns that he knew Etta when they were younger but he did something that hurt her.  

·      IN CHAPTER NINE: While Etta took Myles and Vivian to a park she saw two children, she believes that they are her children she thought died eight/seven years back.

·      IN CHAPTER NINE: John tells Kaden that Kiki and Coco are actually his children, and from the photo Etta took of those two children at the park, he can see they are theirs as well.

·      IN CHAPTER TEN: It is confirmed that Etta knew Kaden, by Etta herself. As well as knowing Reese. HOW? I've sort of let it be implied that Kaden approached her as Reese because she wouldn't give him the time of day as Kaden. Which brings us back to what Etta said when he asked her which face does she like? REMEMBER HE CAN SWITCH APPEARANCES, as Reese and as Kaden. Etta answers that she doesn't care about the face that she wants to love the man inside.

·      IN CHAPTER TEN: We do not know the name of the two children that she saw at the park yet, only that they were with a human. When Kaden is asking what the children's names are, he isn't asking about the ones at the park, he's talking about Kiki and Coco, and Etta tells him that their names are Reese and Morgan.

QUESTIONS:

Wow, this is a lot to ingest. He broke her heart twice and left her a single mother both times, yet she still wants him? Why? There is so much more to learn here. Please continue when you're able. It's awesome. So I really needed to laugh, cause as I said my mind is just filled with worry and dread, but this was a funny question. There is SO MUCH that we don't know... this book is sorta going to be going at full speed. I know that some may stop reading and think Etta is a total push over because well he left her pregnant twice... but it's not really so cut and dry.

I mean think of how immature you were when you were just fourteen/sixteen... He didn't leave her pregnant to be honest, he didn't know at all, not even John knew. The first time.

The second time, I haven't covered what happened here, BUT I have told you that the second time, he approaches her NOT as Kaden, but as Reese. I haven't even went over HOW Etta realizes that Kaden is Reese. I will say that at fourteen she loved him as Kaden, and at 20, she loved him as Reese.

I HOPE THAT THIS CLEARS UP SOME OF THE CONFUSION YOU GUYS MAY BE HAVING...
