October Special: Day 2
Narrator
It was dark out, like it should be.
But S, Anti, Star and Moon didn't need any flashlights because they saw best in the dark.
But Anti still managed to bring glowsticks for everyone.
They trick-or-treated in the small town of Jasper. Surprisingly, for a town so small, there were plenty of houses to hit.
They had gotten there from S shadow travelling them in and old alley where no civilians would be suspicious.
"Oh, goodie. Time for mah jazz." Jaz snickered to herself at her bad pun.
Holly rolled her eyes as Silver gave Jaz a high five.
Anti rolled his eyes and groaned. "Oh, here we go."
Star latched onto Silver's hand. "Auntie, Anti's being mean. Could you smack him for me?"
Anti blinked blankly, his mouth agape.
Moon and S laughed as Silver quickly vapor traveled to him, smacking Anti across the face, hiding behind Moon.
Jaz snickered as Holly rolled her eyes.
"Silver!" Moon hissed. "We're in public!"
"Nah. We're good. Mist covers it up. And if it doesn't work, I can always ask Hectate for help." Silver shrugged it off.
"Oh, I almost forgot." Moon said, signaling everyone to huddle up.
"Yeah?" Silver asked.
"Girls, pay attention." Moon said, lowering her voice. "Call me Gracie, S and Star Sam, and Anti Sean. You can't say our real names while we're out in public, alright?"
"Yep!" Silver said.
"Sure." Jaz shrugged.
"Of course, Moon." Holly replied as they broke the huddle.
"Good." Moon said, smiling. "Now who's ready to go get some candy?"
"MEEEEEEEEE!!!" Silver and Jaz said excitedly as Holly smiled.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Moon said, walking down the street.
S trotted after her, putting his hand on her shoulder.
He then decided it was fun to flip her on his shoulder.
"Agh! Dear, careful!" Moon said, trying to keep her balance.
S quickly set her down. "Sorry. Forgot." He sheepishly grinned.
She gave him a slught glare.
Anti looked at the four girls. "That street looks promising." He said, holding his sisters hand as he walked down the road.
Jaz snickered before grabbing Holly's hand and pulling her towards the two siblings.
"I can walk by myself." Holly protested.
"Doesn't mean I'm lettin' go, Paxton." Jaz grinned, continually tugging her down the street.
"Why did we introduce those two?" Silver muttered to herself, racing after them.
Because I asked you if it was a good idea and you liked it. Your fault. :)
"Don't make me seperate you two..." Moon chuckled, elbow resting on Silver's shoulder.
"Come on, guys! First house!" Anti said, turning on the purple and orange LEDs lining his nerdy glasses and headphones.
"Sh-apies they glow. Dude, that's fu-osting awesome!" Jaz said, struggling to keep her language rated G for Star.
Holly let an amuzed smile escape her lips as Jaz tried not to curse.
Silver laughed into Moon's shoulder.
Anti grinned at Jaz. "One of my majors is computer and electrical tech." He clicked the same button, and the LEDs started to change color slowly.
"Go on, now. We'll wait for you slowpokes." Moon grinned, going to her Mate and leaning into him.
He was now 6 foot 3, but he refused to go any shorter than that.
"Awesome, dude." Jaz grinned to Anti.
"Come on, flirts." Silver said as she rolled her eyes at the two, getting her candy.
"I AM NOT FLIRTING! I'M GEEKING OUT!" Anti whined, helping Star get her candy.
"I think they are." S smiled.
Moon rolled her eyes at him. "He does have a girlfriend, you know."
"She also has Jazz." Holly added.
Anti nodded to her. "Thanks, Holly. Now go get some candy before I go to all the houses first." He grinned.
"No way. I'll get more." Jaz snipped back.
"Children, we all know I'll get more." Silver said, shaking her head.
"How about a little competition? Whoever gets the most candy before we get home gets a special prize." S suggested, Moon nodding.
"I'm up for it." Silver grinned.
"Bring it, water girl." Jaz challenged.
"Rules before we start. No stealing from anyone else's bags, no going back to the same houses, and we stay together. We clear?" Moon said, making sure that Silver knew that they stayed with one another.
"Yes, ma'am." Anti said, almost saluting out of habit.
"Stay together?" Silver pouted. "Okay..."
"Pouty butt." Jaz smiled as Silver gave her a slight glare.
"Yes. Staying together is a good thing. Especially with all the creepy crawlies in the dark." S chuckled, knowing he was always the one to stay in the shadows.
Moon sighed, pinching her nose at his terrible joke. "What am I going to do with you?" She groaned.
"Be on my team?" S shrugged, giving off an innocent smile.
Moon chuckled. "We'll see." Her eyes caught on something. "Hey, Sean! Jaz! I see an obstacle course!"
This got the attention of both Anti and Jaz.
Anti looked towards Jaz. "Wanna race?"
"You're on." Jaz smirked.
Anti gave his glasses and headphones to his mom, dashing to the course.
He rubbed his hands excitedly. "Let's see here... Tire jumps... Monkey bars... Rope swing... Is this a joke?" He asked, a little bummed.
"My job is better than this." Jaz looked pitifully at the course.
Anti shrugged. "Oh, well. Wanna race me anyway?" He grinned.
"Oh, I never back down from a challenge." Jaz grinned back.
"Alright. Time me first?" Anti suggested, handing her a timer.
"Sure."
Anti walked over to the tire steps. 8 tires.
"1... 2... 3..." Jaz said, clicking the timer on.
Anti jumped in the tires, jumping to the monkeybars with ease, then jumping off a trampoline and then sticking the landing, but then was delayed a couple seconds from dodging tennis balls that were being thrown at him.
He ran back to Jaz.
His time was 25 seconds.
Anti got a little steamed at his time, knowing he could do much better.
Then Jaz went.
She did flips and all this acrobatic stuff, and when she was done, she had 15 seconds.
Both soldiers agreed that the playground was rigged.
They both made thier way over to the others.
Moon chuckled. "I would love to show you two what's up, but I pulled a muscle in my leg. You know what doc wpuld do to me if he found out if I was overworking myself."
"Like how he yells at me for eating my diet." Silver whined.
Moon sighed. "Liquorish and chocolate is not a diet."
"It is too a diet!" Silver defended her wonderful eating habits.
Moon sighed, looking at the other girls. "This is what I have to deal with."
"Silver..." Holly sighed, facepalming.
"Cant be as bad as Terror Twins and Mudflaps and Skids." Jaz added.
"Don't give her ideas." S glared as he pulled his Mate closer to him.
S looked into the bags by glancing downwards.
He tapped his wrist as if he had a watch on. "Kids, time is ticking."
And of course, Anti was starting something with Jaz.
"Well, at least I'm the better glider in a glider suit!" He argued, nudging her to make sure she knew what he meant.
"Whatever, it just makes you a good kite to use." Jaz easily countered, rolling her eyes at him.
Anti scoffed at her. "Do you realize how hard gliding is? Locking your knees and not crashing into walls?"
"I know. I've tried it. Will makes me practice as part of N.E.S.T. Training." Jaz scoffed back.
"Both of you, stop it now. You can argue later." Moon snipped, her arms looped behind thier necks. "And if you don't stop, I'll squash this argument very quickly. Understood?"
"Yes, M-Mo-Gracie." Jaz stumbled on the words.
"Good." Moon nodded. "Now go get some more candy. Dinner's all most done."
"WHAT?!?!" Jaz gasped as she grabbed her bag and ran off to the next house.
"I swear, she's almost as crazy as I am when it comes to candy." Silver said, laughing.
"I don't doubt it." Holly said with a small smile.
"Momma, I'm getting hungry." Star said, giving her full candy bag to her father.
Moon smiled at her daughter and went to pick her up.
But she started wincing and gasping in pain.
S immediately dropped the bag and put his daughter down on the ground, all the while keeping his Mate steady.
"Scrap nuggets." Silver muttered, grabbing Star's bag as Holly helped S.
"You all right, mom?" Anti asked as he looped his mother's arm behind his neck.
She nodded. "My leg hurts." She winced. "It feels like the tendon gave out." She watched how worried her Mate looked. "Hang on..." She said, moving her leg back and forth. She then slowly added weight on it. "I'm better now." She pinched her nose and muttered so quietly no one else could hear. "Fragging leg."
S still let her lean on him.
"You sure you're okay?" Silver asked.
Moon nodded. "Yeah. Just can't pick up anything. Sorry, baby." Moon looked at her daughter, giving her a one-armed hug.
Anti was starting to get antsy. "Should we head home?" He asked the girls.
"Are we still trick or treating?" Jaz asked them, making sure Moon was okay.
"You all can stay. I'm taking her home. Comm me when you guys are done, and I'll come get you." S said, making sure all of Moon's weight was off her bad leg.
"You sure?" Holly asked. "I can go with you."
"Thank you, Holly. But we should be fine. We'll check in about half an hour. I need to slow down, anyway." Moon said, smiling to her son.
"Alright." Holly nodded.
"You better be okay when we get back Mo- Gracie." Silver told her sternly.
Moon nodded in response. "I just need a few herbs. I should be fine." She turned to her tiniest daughter. "Star, listen to your aunts and brother while we're gone, okay?"
Star nodded. "Okay, momma."
Anti took her candy bag from Silver. "Be careful, ma."
Moom nodded and gave him a hug.
After the Mates turned the corner and disappeared into the shadows, Jaz made a challenge.
"Race ya to the next house?" She asked.
"Bet you can beat her for me." Anti whispered to his sister.
Star grinned. "First one to the house gets the candy!" She said, dashing off.
After Jaz covering a curse, she ran after the 8 year old.
But she lost and Star got a full sized Reeces peanut butter cup.
After everyone was dome trick or treating, Anti and Silver teleported them back to base.
Okay! Whew! Finally done! (This part any way) Silver-Ashley, we really need to work on keeping these a little shorter! Lol. Okay, hope you enjoyed! Bye! (For now) 😀
