Scp 029 A Sacrifice
A/N: Decided to do an SCP nobody really talks about. Since there aren't really any tales about her that gives us much insight besides from her file, I decided to just wing it. Hope this isn't OOC too much.
Andrea Denver was the poor scientist that was tasked with the interview of this notoriously dangerous SCP. She was surprised they were even trying anymore since nearly every attempt led to 029 trying to convert them if they were male or trying to strangle them out right. She definitely didn't plan on any sudden early permanent leave of this world anytime soon, but still, duty calls.
She had grabbed a bag of McDonald's on the way to work. She figured that even though 029 didn't need food, she'd probably still be happy to have something to munch on. Just because one doesn't need to eat doesn't necessarily they might not feel hunger. She walked towards the control room of 029's cell and looked at the cameras. 029 herself was sitting at her end of the desk, which had been placed there by some unlucky D-class or something. She really couldn't care less, she just needed to know that 029 wasn't in the corner waiting to try and kill her and escape.
Andrea entered 029's containment cell and was immediately blinded by the numerous flood lights placed in her cell. Goddamn, she understood that light weakens 029's anomalous abilities but this was just ridiculous. She'd be lucky if she only needed eye surgery at the end of this, granted, if 029 decides not to try and kill her on the spot.
Speaking of 029, she was sitting on her chair, her face and body language unreadable. This just Andrea even more unnerved. Nonetheless, she had to do her job. Andrea sat at the table next to her and putting the McDonald's bag in the table and sliding it towards 029
"Hello SCP 029, I thought you may be hungry so I picked you up something." Andrea said in her most professional voice. Perhaps this would maybe make her more talkative or at least less likely to choke her with the nearest thing she could reach.
029 narrowed her eyes at the fast food bag before looking at the scientist. "I don't need to eat." She said
"I know, I just thought you might like it either way." She said.
029 then rummaged through the bag, grabbing the burger inside of it and began eating it rather quickly. Maybe Andrea was correct, since 029 then ate the fries with the same ferocity. When she finished, she spoke again
"Is this your plan to get me to speak for your little foundation?" She asked, before Andrea could respond, she continued.
"I will answer your questions, after all. They were kind enough to send me a sacrifice in time for the holy day of my goddess"
Andrea shivered a bit, but was determined to stay calm. She asked her question as quickly as possible and she had to admit, 029 was fairly responsive and she got a lot further than the other interviews went. Eventually, she got into the subject on her goddess.
"What is this.. Holy day of yours? What exactly do you do?" Andrea asked with slight hesitation. The Daughter of Shadow's smirk didn't help. 029 leaned slightly towards Andrea, who was now starting to lean back in her chair, trying to create as much distance as possible between her and the SCP in front of her.
"It is one of the sacred of days to my goddess. It is the day me and my followers pay proper respects to her in exchange for salvation for the destruction she'll lay upon your world. And what better way to pay tribute to a true goddess than a sacrifice. A sacrifice of something precious.. Worthwhile. The sacrifice of a beauty such as yourself will do nicely. The sacrifice of this organization's best up and coming scientists will surely do the goddess justice." She said, beginning to stand up from her chair.
"GUARDS!" Andrea screamed, and no sooner did she did it, the containment cell door open to allow about 5 guards with guns drawn to pour into the cell. 029's smirk didn't fall, in fact, it just widened, she calmly sat back in her chair
"Soon enough.. Soon enough." Scp 029 said, tapping her fingers on the desk
Andrea tried to regain what composure she had, trying to hide the fear in her face with an confident one and fearless one.
"I believe it was time to conclude this interview. Have a nice life in this cell." Andrea said with a glare as she and the guards walked out of the containment cell, with the door closing behind them. When Andrea got back to her office, she nearly passed out from the shock of it all. It had been her first time interviewing a keter class SCP. She hoped that if she had interview another scp again, that it would be someone or something that didn't want to murder her for their crazy a$$ cult or whatever other f*cked up reason these anomalies could come up with.

Andrea was in the breakroom with her fellow co workers, enjoying their break with a well earned coffee and some lunch while talking about their recent experiences with the SCPs. She was sitting at a table with another scientist, sipping on their drinks.
"I'm surprised you're not dead." Jacob, a long time friend said before sipping on his coffee. "She normally strangled anyone who she can't control"
"Well, apparently she would rather try to scare them with threats and promising to sacrifice them to their god today. Hoping I get assigned with some other SCP." Andrea said, she felt shivers go up her spine as the words SCP 029 had said to her.
"Well I just got done doing some basic tests with Cain. Seems like a pretty chill dude, can't say the same about his brother though. I'm scheduled to interview SCP 343 next week." Jacob said.
"Lucky bastard." Andrea muttered before the blazing sound of the alarm went off
"WARNING, THE FOUNDATION IS UNDER A BREACH. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CURRENT LOCATION AS LOCKDOWN SEQUENCE WILL BEGIN. "
"God damn it. Well, at least we're stuck in the break room." One of the other female scientists said. Everyone wasn't too worried about it. The door had been upgraded recently from wood to the standard steels one that could be locked automatically, unless you had a keycard, you weren't getting in.
Everybody thought they were fine, whatever escaped probably was already being handled with. That soon enough, they would be able to continue their day as usual. They sat there, waiting patiently for this to be over with, only for the door to suddenly open. It revealed a group of guards at the other side.
"About time somebody came by to tell us it was over! What, did the alarms malfunction or something, because they're still ringing that damn annoying alarm!" one of the scientists, Dr. Richard said, standing up from his seat nonchalantly, and walked towards the guards. One of them suddenly grabbed him by the throat and began squeezing. Richard tried to scream out but found it impossible to do that, let alone to breathe. The other scientists started to make their way towards Dr. Richard to help them only to find themselves being pounced upon by the other guards. Jacob struggled underneath his attacker while Andrea began fighting off her attacker with anything she could get her hands on, mainly mugs, chairs, and a microwave. The guard managed to grab her and hold her down.
"You will bow before our mistress!" The guard hissed.
Andrea looked up to see what he was talking about, only to see SCP 029, being carried on the shoulders of some converted male D-class. They gently let her down into the floor. SCP 029's sadistic smirk was enough to ensure Andrea would have nightmares for weeks, that's if she survives that long.
"Well well well. What do we have here? Did you truly think you could escape me? That your security system would be enough to hold me back forever?" 029 questioned before chuckling to herself.
She grabbed Andrea by the chin, forcing her to look into her eyes. "How will we go about this? My little sacrificial lamb?" She asked.
Jacob began to break from his guard's hold, trying to reach 029 "DON'T YOU F*CKING TOUCH HER!" He screamed in defiance. 029 looked at him, Andrea could feel her guards grip on her loosen and Andrea took her chance. She bit hard down hard on the SCP's hand, piercing the flesh and drawing blood. 029 screamed as she retraced her hand, holding in her other hand. Andrea managed to squirm away from the guard and took off running. She could hear 029 yelling after her
"YOU CAN RUN AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE, YOU WON'T GET FAR! YOU'RE ONLY MAKING IT WORSE FOR YOURSELF!"
Andrea kept running, dodging converted D-class and guards alike, the only light to guide her was the flashing red light of the alarms and even that, it was pretty dim. After a while of running, she eventually stopped to rest, seeing that she had lost all of the people SCP 029 converted to her twisted will. She hissed at the throbbing of her feet, running in heels were literal hell. She was tempted to just throw them off but decided against it, it was better to have something covering her feet than nothing at all, right?
That's when she heard something. The sound of feet stepping on the the marble floor of the foundation. Andrea immediately went to run, looking back behind it as a all to familiar figure was right at the end of the hall, with horrifying speed she ran towards her with a blunt object in her hands. She didn't have time to process things as she felt something hard snap her ankle and making her fall onto the floor. She screeched in pain as she held her broken ankle, rolling around on the floor.
She felt a hand grab her hair and began dragging her into the darker areas of the containment site. Andrea screeched and struggled, grabbing hold to anything, only to be ripped off with another forceful tug at her brown hair. Andrea felt her hands grab something that felt like a flashlight, she remembered that light weakened her, sure, it was just a flashlight but even if it would only weaken her slightly, she would take it. She turned it on and pointed the beam of light into her attackers eyes. Scp 029 stammered away, covering her eyes as Andrea ran for it again, well, more like limp. It was just now did she see all of the bodies of victims that had been killed off by either other SCPs or by 029 herself. She looked around for anything she could use for self defense with her flashlight, a shiny object caught her attention.
She hastily grab it, upon further inspection, it was revealed to be a pocket knife. Not an moment too soon she felt something twist the arm holding her flashlight in an unnatural position, the unsettling popping of bones didn't help. She was now on the floor, hurriedly trying to see where 029 was. She crawled her way towards one of the red dim lights caused from the alarms to get a better view. She could now somewhat see 029 in front of her, slowly approaching.
Andrea gathered all the strength she could and lunged at her, the knife pointed at her chest. 029 grabbed her wrist right as the knife was about to stab her and snapped it with a sickening cracked. Andrea screamed once again, falling to the floor and dropping the knife, which 029 grabbed. She slowly crouched down on top of Andrea, slowly bringing the knife down to the scientist's face. Andrea closed her eyes, expecting the worst.. Minutes went by before the sound of metal hitting the ground next to her was heard. Andrea opened her eyes, only to see that the pocket knife was sitting idly on the floor next to her.
Andrea didn't have a chance to even say anything before she felt 029's hand constrict around her neck, slamming her head down onto the ground. 029 watched in glee as Andrea struggled, flailing around in a fruitless attempt to get away. She watched as Andrea's face turned blue from the lack of oxygen. Soon her struggling began to slow and eventually stopped all together. 029 kept putting more pressure on her neck for a few moments to ensure she was indeed dead before getting up.
A sick smile came across her face as the patch of albino skin on her face became more consumed in the pitch black skin that covered the rest of her body. She was that much closer to her goal. And now that she had fulfilled her sacrifice, it is time for her and her newly acquired followers to leave. She remembered seeing the exit when she was looking for Andrea. Freedom awaited her people once again.
