SCP-7883 instances are to be stored together in a non-animate object locker at site-##. Level 2 and higher personnel are permitted research with permission from site-## overseers.
Description:
SCP-7883 is the designation given to 4(four) contact lenses of varying color all labeled "Dr.Wondertainment's goofy vision!, ages 9 and up" in microscopic print.
All instance's anomalies abilities activate when placed on a seeing person's eye. This effect may be distorted if the person has near or far sighted vision and will not improve their eyesight like a normal contact. When the active state is entered the subject's eye that is not currently wearing an SCP-7883 will go permanately blind even after the effect wears off.
When the effect is in an active state the subject will experience one of 4(four) different hallucinations depending on the color of the instance they are wearing. Research conducted by foundation researchers suggest these hallucinations may be a way of seeing into alternate instances of our existence, but that is still being determined and possibly can never be fully proven.
Below is a log of the hallucinations each instance of SCP-7883 causes, note that the hallucination appears to only effect the subject's eyesight and will not physically insert them into the hallucination.
Log of Instances and Effects
SCP-7883-1, color- Blue: Subjects reported seeing several large, tentacled beings that resembled Dr.#######. Subjects approximately 20(twenty) minutes after wearing instance went into comas that lasted [REDACTED] months. After awakening subjects displayed [REDACTED], Agent F## and agent W########## were killed in the second test of this object after D-567239 awoke.
SCP-7883-2, color- Black: Subjects wearing this instance described seeing multiple colors they could not describe swirling around them. When an agent entered testing chambers subjects began having violent seizures and one subject attacked the agent in a burst of anger. Subjects that wear this instance are to be transported to site-### in [REDACTED], Canada for research following testing.
SCP-7883-3, color- Orange: RESULTS EXPUNGED DUE TO o5 REQUEST. INSTANCE REVEALED INFORMATION NOT PROHIBITED BEYOND o5 KNOWLEDGE. INSTANCE SCHEDULED FOR INCINERATION.
SCP-7883-4, color- Silver: Subjects that wore this instance described seeing a dark room, and reported hearing audio hallucinations of a dead individul that they knew of. After testing subjects were diagnosed with extreme anxiety and depression.

Reasearcher's note: According to research into the "Dr. wondertainment" corporation it has been discovered that there are approximately 2 dozen variations of the lenses not within facility containment. Several teams are to be dispatched in the area That SCP-7883 was recovered in to locate the missing instances.
