I awoke to smell smoke. Standing up I raced a fast and steady pace towards the village that kept me contempt. I began growling then full on bellowing. Challenging the intruder in the air and on the ground who have devastated the village. They've killed everyone in the village who've I've known and protected.
The one on the ground was broad and bulky. But he smelt of wood and poison frogs, he turned towards me and had an emotionless look on his face. While the one in the air had smelt of clay and smoke, he was surprised at my size and looks. I brought my head down low and a low growl of "Get going" was coming out.
They looked at each other and a signal was passed between them. A clay spider was at my feet before I knew it.
*Boom*
I ran and roared in defiance as the patch of grass where I was once standing on had been lit a flame and a huge crater was there to show for it.
I jumped and snapped my jaws at the clay bird, but he was too high up for me to snatch in my mouth. Add to that. More bombs were going off.
I gave up on him and went to the scorpion intruder. I would normally listen to my senses and right now they say this intruder is dosed in poison. But they have destroyed my home. I was welcome here. They destroyed my family, my home.
I snarled out multiple human curses. Angry with my self, I charged at him dislocating my jaws to grab a hold of his head and break his neck. My claws shredded the cloak covering him, while his tail stabbed my side.
I sliced his side knocking him over with a headbutt. Grabbing his head in my jaws I snapped his neck. Roaring at the unmoving figure. I walked away.
A deep pain surged through me, I heaved several times, before I vomited up several mouthfuls of blood. Groaning, I staggered trying to gain my footing. My vision becoming blurry. I felt a sharp pain stab deeper into my side. I staggered more, slipping and falling. I snapped and roared at the approaching cloaked figure smelling of clay and smoke. My head falling back with a heavy thud. The world going black.
