Dinner
Jeongguk places his hand on the small of Taehyung's back, gently guiding the still trembling boy into his living room.
"I made bulgogi barbecue..." Jeongguk starts, pride evident on his features.
"It's your favorite." He claims, smirking with a glint in his eye.
Taehyung exhales harshly at this comment, not realizing how much this stalker must actually know about him.
He knows it'd be stupid to defy the very tall, very strong, very scary, very much gun toting, man besides him... but some part of Taehyung just wants to feel the slightest bit in control.
"No it's not." He murmurs before he can come to his senses.
Jeongguk freezes in place, a mere few feet from the dinner table, Taehyung notices as he clenches his jaw and his tongue pokes his cheek.
"Yes it is." Jeongguk's voice growls lowly, not turning to look at the red headed boy in his grasp.
Taehyung takes another shaky breath in, "n-no, my favorite f-food is..." he pauses as he tries to think of another answer, "shellfish."
Now Taehyung is deathly allergic to shellfish, so why he chose this as his "favorite food" he doesn't know.
Maybe because he wants to test how much his stalker knows about him. Because no one, except Taehyung's own parents, knows about his shellfish allergy. It simply hasn't come up in conversation with his friends before.
He feels as the intruder tightens his grip around his waist, flipping Taehyung around to face him.
Jeongguk grabs Taehyung's chin and jerks it upwards to look into his eyes menacingly.
"Baby, you know you'd die if you ate shellfish, why are you lying to me?" His captor pouted, puppy dog eyes looking curiously down at Taehyung.
Taehyung's nostrils flared as an all too familiar sense of fear filled his stomach again.
So he knew everything then.
How long had he been watching him?
As though Jeongguk had read his mind he spoke again, "That's right, I know. Like I said I know you better than you know yourself. I know what's good for you. I only want what's best for you."
Taehyung tried his best to glare at Jeongguk, mustering up the little courage he had left.
"Who are you?" The smaller whispers, brows furrowing together.
Jeongguk nearly giggles, his grip on Taehyung causing the boy to shake with every laugh.
"That's a fun question... hey, why don't we play a game?" He grins, eyes wild with excitement.
Taehyung doesn't move but Jeongguk does, pushing Taehyung down into one of the wooden chair by the dinner he'd prepared.
The soft tinkling of metal caught Taehyung's attention as Jeongguk moved behind him.
"Don't be afraid, love. This is just for your safety." Jeongguk says calmly as he tightly grips Taehyung's wrist.
Taehyung watches in horror as his stalker slips a pair of sliver handcuffs around his wrists, securing them tightly to the chair he was sitting in.
Taehyung began to panic again, mind trying to think of anything that could save him.
"A-ah um, h-how am I going t-to eat?" He stutters, cursing just fear for making him sound weak.
Jeongguk looks up and smiles again, a smile too warm and too kind to truly belong to a psychopath.
"I'll feed you, pet. Don't you worry." He hums before ruffling the handcuffed boys hair fondly.
Taehyung bites his tongue to stop words that may put him in more danger from flowing out.
Jeongguk grabs the other chair and pulls it across the ground, a loud screeching sound echoes throughout the home as it drags across the floor.
He pulls it up next to Taehyung and finally takes his own seat, turning eagerly to look at the boy again.
Jeongguk places his elbows on the table and rests his chin in his hands like a schoolgirl with a crush.
"So you wanted to know who I am?" He asks all too enthusiastically.
Taehyung nods his head carefully, eyeing the man.
"Well then let's play a game! I'll ask a question, you a question, and if you answer truthfully, you can ask me a question." He explains, bouncing his leg up and down.
Taehyung nods again, thinking that at least this game was easy. If he just answered some questions he could finally get some insight on who this boy was.
"Great!" Jeongguk clapped just hands together at Taehyung's confirmation, "then let's begin."
Jeongguk shuffles in his seat, eyes looking upwards in thought before they widen with glee.
"Question one..." he begins.
"Are you happy at your job?"
Taehyung pauses to think, knowing that Jeongguk would only accept the truth.
Though he wasn't in the exact position he would've liked today was a fun experience. While Jen was out he got to live his dreams of being a photo shoot director and he showed enough skill that hopefully he could be promoted.
For a split second, the joy of today's happenings at work distracted him from his current situation, and he smiled.
"Yes, I am." He answered, smiles fading quickly as he remembered just who he was talking to.
Jeongguk's eyes widened, but not in joy this time.
He slammed his fists down on the table, causing the glasses of water to topple over and spill into Taehyung's lap, making the boy hiss.
"NO, YOU'RE NOT!" Jeongguk bellowed, face turning red as Taehyung could see a vein strain against the man's forehead.
"TELL ME THE TRUTH! I KNOW YOU HATE IT! I KNOW YOU HATE YOUR MANAGER JEN!" He continues screaming at the top of his lungs.
Taehyung's eyes became wet once again with tears of fear.
He had answered truthfully but still, Jeongguk was not satisfied as he continued to shout.
"THEY'RE NOT FAIR TO YOU! THEY TREAT YOU LIKE TRASH! THAT'S WHY I KILLED JEN!" Jeongguk finishes, sitting down once again and heaving for air, chest rising and falling quickly as he regained his sanity.
Taehyung on the other hand froze deadly still.
He didn't move an inch as he tried to comprehend the words that had just escaped the intruder's lips.
Killed..... Jen?
Taehyung's brain ran over all the events of today's work day.
"Have you seen Jen?"
"Jen is gone."
"She just disappeared."
"Is she on her lunch break?"
"Taehyung you're needed."
"Go show them your talent Tae."
Taehyung gasped for air as everything hit him at once, his pupils shook as he looked up to a now, more calm Jeongguk.
"Y-you k-killed..." Taehyung couldn't bear to finish his sentence.
Jeongguk smiled broadly, though it didn't reach his eyes.
"Mhm. That's right. She wasn't good for you, she was holding you back. But she's gone now." He spoke while trying to contain his laughter.
Taehyung continued to stare in absolute horror and shock at the man who seemingly reveled in the death he brought.
"Oh! That reminds me. I know you hated her... so I brought you a little present.." Jeongguk trailed off and he hopped up giddily from his chair, fumbling through his large gym bag for something.
Taehyung's eyes didn't follow the man, he simply continued to stare apathetically at the table.
What the hell was happening to him?
Why was this happening to him?
He never wanted anyone to die....
A loud thump resonated from the table as Jeongguk set something down.
"Ta-da!" He exclaimed, revealing his "present".
Taehyung looked at the table.
Then he screamed louder than he'd ever screamed in his life, he struggled against the handcuffs, cutting his wrists with the tension. He screamed and screamed, tears blurring his vision as fear took over all of his senses.
Because there on the table...
Sat Jen's disembodied head.
