(Sorry about the short chapter but, even if I didn't but it in, I'll add the music that plays when Fred gets on that beautiful motorcycle.)

After escaping the Pterodactyl Ghost, the gang entered the mining town but Scooby parks in an old shed. Without wasting time, everyone hurries out of the Mystery Machine. "All right, gang. The Monster Hive is right over there." Fred says, "Let's get this control panel and plug her in."

But before they could do anything, the Black Knight Ghost appears, riding a creepy ghost horse and wielding a lance. Blocking their path to the Monster Hive. "You go nowhere, knave." It says. "You guys take the long way around. I'll hold him off." Fred says, starring down the ghost. "I'll stay. I owe that guy a beating." Kevin says, punching his fist into his palm.

"Come on." Velma says, holding the control panel and urging everyone to move on. "Go get him, Fred." Shaggy tells Fred, then he and Scooby follow Velma. "Be careful." Gwen tells Kevin. She follows the others but Daphne remains behind and gives Fred a worried look. Ben gently grasps her shoulder and she looks at him then back at Fred before hurrying to catch up with the others. Ben gives Fred and Kevin a supportive nod then runs off to catch up with the others.

With the others, they were running to get to the Monster Hive they jump over a small stream of water when suddenly the Ten Thousand Volt Ghost appears. "Not so fast!" It places its hand in the water, causing it to light up with electricity, separating Daphne and Gwen from the others. "You guys go! We'll take care of Sparky." Daphne declares, starring down the ghost. Gwen turns into her Anodyte form, summoning mana disks, ready to fight. "Go! Get that panel to the Monster Hive!" She shouts to the others.

"Go, go, go!" Shaggy exclaims. "We've got it, guys!" Velma exclaims. "Be careful!" Ben exclaims, and with that he and the others run off.

Daphne gets into a stance as she and Gwen stare down the electrical ghost. "Ooh, scary." The Ten Thousand Volt Ghost mocks. "Get ready to taste the pain glowing ugly thing." Daphne says, trying to sound threatening. Gwen gets ready to attack but Daphne acts first, "Daphne!" She shouts, and jumps to grab Daphne. Shielding them in a mana bubble as the Ten Thousand Volt Ghost sends them back.

As for Fred and Kevin, Fred was on a motorcycle, challenging the Black Knight Ghost as Kevin watches on the sidelines in case anything happens. The two charge at each other and end up knocking them both off their rides. Kevin moves and catches Fred but notices a pink bubble coming their way it lands to his left and it disappears. Daphne and Gwen having the wind knocked out of them. Fred lays down Fred as he moves to the other side of Daphne to check on Gwen.

Fred groans as he turns his head to look at Daphne, "Daphne, Gwen? You two okay?" He asks them. "I think so." Daphne says, "Guess this is it, huh?" Gwen and Kevin looks at them but stay silent to let them have their moment. "Oh, baby. I'm afraid so. What a wimp, huh?" Fred says, rolling his eyes. "Dude, you're the farthest thing from a wimp." Kevin tells him. Gwen smiles and nods in agreement. "He's right. It makes you human." Daphne says, smiling at her boyfriend.
