Meanwhile...

Lukas: [panting] OK, I lost them. I'm lost. Again.

He looks around to make sure. He sees the bush, and cautiously goes to it, and moves the leaves.

Lukas: [fear] Hello?

Lulu pops out, meowing.

Lukas: [sighs] Oh, Lulu. For a second there, I thought you were that-.

???: Hello mister.

Lukas: [fear/slowly turning around and seeing the little ghost girl] H- Hi.

Lulu meows as she walks to the little ghost girl, making the science nerd realize...

Lukas: Y- Y- You're... Alice May.

Alice nodded and gestured for Lukas to follow her.

Lukas: Uh, ok?[followed the ghost]

He looks around, making sure there are no other zombies around. The ghost of Alice May shows him the mound of dirt.

Lukas: Ok, now what?

Alice: In there... The answers.

Lukas: I'm going to have to dig, huh?

Lulu meows his answer. Lukas starts to do what they say and starts to dig up the mound.

Meanwhile, Scooby and Shaggy leave the cave while bats come out, and screaming is heard from the house as the gang follows.

Fred: Lena!

It was dark and empty as they entered the house.

Daphne: Simone!

Velma: [turning the switch up and down] Scooby, Shaggy, Lukas!

Beau: The generator must've gone out. I'll go check.

Velma: No way! [Grabs him by the shoulder] I'm not letting you out of my sight.

Then, they heard a noise.

Fred: [gasps] Lena!

Beau and Velma: [gasps]

Fred walks to the stairs.

Fred: Lena?

He steps forward but the stairs break apart and he falls. Daphne walked around the house until she found the secret entrance.

Daphne: Fred, are you-

Lena: -alright?

Fred: Yeah, thanks.

Lena: Where's Lukas?

Daphne: He went to a different path after we split from the zombies.

Lena looks saddened

Fred: Don't worry, he'll be fine.

Beau and Velma arrived.

Daphne: What's going on?

Lena: It was a nightmare. Miss Lenoir and I went outside to wait for you when we were attacked by these, these...

Velma: Zombies?

Lena: Yes! We ran back to the house, and Miss Lenoir opened the secret passageway, she said it was built during the Civil War to hide from Union Soldiers. But the zombies came after us, they grabbed Miss Lenoir and dragged her away! Oh, thank goodness you come!

Lena fibbed as she landed on Fred's chest while Velma checked the footprints.

Velma: You say the zombies dragged Simone away?

Lena: Yes. It was horrible!

Fred: Don't worry, we'll find her and it's going to be okay.

Then, both Velma and Beau have their suspicions as Daphne presses forward.

Daphne: Come on. We've got to save Simone.

They venture to the tunnels, finding two other tunnels, having the footprints leading to them.

Velma: Come on, this way.

They go further to show the hidden door, opening to surprise them to show the odd-looking room.

Daphne: Where are we?

Daphne asked as they looked around and saw several assorted candles and one idol with a bowl of fire as well as a moon dial.

Velma: Looks to me like a place for voodoo rituals. But why don't we just ask, Lena?

Fred: What are you talking about?

Velma: Think about it. After she said that Simone was dragged away, I saw the footprints of Simone's heels and realized that she wasn't dragged, she walked down that tunnel.

A sound of chains was heard as it showed the machine that reeled in the chains, opening the hatch to show the moonlight.

Simone: Very clever, Velma, especially you, gardener, but it's too late.

Simone spoke as she walked into the light before she laughed evilly.

Then, Simone held out Daphne and Velma's dolls before placing them on the wall, suddenly forcing Daphne and Velma to hit the wall behind them, earning Fred's gasp.

Lena: Sorry, Freddy. I do like you.

Lena spoke penitently before she then got out Fred's doll and placed it against the wall, knocking him back to the wall behind him as well, causing the camera to land on the table perfectly, doing no damage to itself whatsoever.

Fred: What would you do if you didn't like me?

Fred puzzled weakly before Beau went after Lena.

Beau: Hey!

Beau shouted as he ran towards her before Lena lifted Beau's doll, causing him to float she then placed the doll on the wall, sending him crashing to the wall next to Fred, before tying up the dolls as Simone already did so for the other three.

Velma: Voodoo dolls!

Simone: These dolls do come in handy.

Simone admitted with a chuckle as she then set the dolls on the table.

Velma: So, that's where the cleaning cloth was. Sorry, I doubted you.

Beau: Apology accepted.

Simone: The harvest moon will soon reach the midnight point on this moondial, and then, the ceremony will begin.

Simone illustrated as she turned around to the others.

Fred: What ceremony?

Daphne: You won't get away with this!

Simone: Quite the contrary. I've been getting away with it for 200 years.

She suddenly starts to unknowingly hiss animalistic before her teeth get longer and her ears get longer, gaining the facial features of a feline.

Fred: At least, Scoob, Shaggy, and Lukas are still free. Maybe.

Fred hoped before Lena, who was in the same state as Simone now, spoke.

Lena: I heard that, Fred. Those two simpletons and that cutie Luke boy, we didn't even bother making wax dolls of them! A waste of time and magic wax![snarls]

Fred: Just what are you planning to do to us?

Simone: Ah it's simple, every Harvest Moon, I must drain the life force from victims lured to my island, to preserve my immortality.

Daphne: This is more haunted stuff than I wanted!

Meanwhile, Lukas has just finished digging up the mound to find the bones of an adult and a child.

Lukas: What the?

Lulu meows.

Lukas: You want me to touch the bones?

Lulu meows his answer. Lukas slowly moves his hand and touches the bones.

Lukas: [gasps]

The rings glow green, causing his eyes to glow white as well, flashing to show to be a memory.

[Flashback]

The Pov of a little girl who is assumed to be Alice and her mother inside a dungeon he then watches as Lena and Simone transform themselves into Cat People.

The mother of the girl holds her tight and quickly runs away from them. The Werecats then proceed to drain the life force of Alice and her mother killing them painfully.

Both of them slowly fall, the girl hears a faint meow as she sees her kitten close to her, slowly petting her.

Alice: Lulu... My sweet cat...

[End of Flashback]

Lukas reawakens, tears racing down his eyes with the realization of what he had just witnessed and felt. Anger builds inside of him. He then notices the crowd of zombies around him included among them are Alice and her mother as well as Morgan Moonscar and Cornel Jackson T. Pettigrew not doing anything just waiting.

Lukas: You're not the monsters you're all victims.

Lukas gains his determination build before he looks at the zombies

Lukas: Where are the real monsters?

The zombie Alice then presents her hand to the young man and he takes it with her leading him to where those werecats are with the other zombies following.

Meanwhile, near the docks, Shaggy and Scooby arrived over by where they entered in the first place just as a ferry boat suddenly arrived and was slowly lowering the bar.

Shaggy: Jacque! Like are we ever glad to see you? There's no time to waste.

Jacques: I am happy to see y'all.

Jacques spoke with a chuckle before he suddenly turned into a sort of werecat as his hat fell off while his shirt tore off, he grew orange fur and sharp teeth as well as his eyes turned into a yellow cat-slit sort, and claws.

Now we go back to the captive heroes and the villains at the moon dial.

Velma: If you're as old as you say you are, then I'll bet you're the one who found Morgan Moonscar's treasure.

Simone: Morgan Moonscar.

The screen slowly shifts into a flashback of Moonscar's ship arriving on the island.

Simone: He was the cause of all of this! We were a group of settlers that made this island our home. We look to our Cat God for a bountiful harvest.

The past Simone sits down as Lena prepares the food, and then we cut to Moonscar and his crew coming in.

Simone: Until that night. When he came a shore.

Morgan Moonscar and the pirates came to shore. Then we go to the party where the people are dancing, then they see Moonscar and his pirates interrupting the party. Then the pirates begin to attack the party and scare people away.

Simone: He drove the islanders into the bayou. All except for Lena and myself.

Then a group of Alligators came into the water swimming toward the panicked people, as Simone and Lena saw the event many people were now killed by a group of Alligators. Now we go to the secret passageway when Simone and Lena are inside, praying to the Cat God as Simone is crying over the death of people while Lena watches in sadness. Then they see the full moon shine upon them.

Simone: We uttered a curse on the pirates, to destroy them as they had destroyed our island! Our wish was granted.

Simone and Lena transform into werecats and leave the cave. Now we go to Moonscar and his pirates are digging the hole preparing to put the chest inside the hole as they see Simone and Lena in their werecats forms.

Simone: We became cat creatures and destroyed the pirates!

As the Flashback was over, Lukas was at the entrance of the cave.

Lukas: [to zombie Alice] In there?

Zombie Alice nodded and Lulu meows at Lukas, thanking him.

Lukas pets Lulu.

Lukas: You're welcome, and now, I will bring your souls to peace again.

Lukas quietly sneaks into the cave.

Simone: Only afterward, did we discover from the woman, that invoking the power beyond our understanding, had cursed us as well.

Lukas quietly hid behind the rocks and saw Simone and Lena in cat forms.

Lukas: [quietly] OK, that's scary. [gulps]

Lena: Over the years, boats continued to come to our island. One was full of spice traders who started up pepper plantations. The plantation flourished.

Lena added as it showed a flashback of a shipload of spice traders arriving at Moonscar Island and getting ready to plant pepper seeds while building a sort of mansion before it showed the next Harvest Moon later that night.

Simone: At least until the Harvest Moon.

The man notices the shadow while picking up the peppers, seeing one of the Werecats as he screams. The Flashback ends.

Simone: Sometimes, it became necessary for Lena to lure the outsiders back to the island.

Fred: Just like you lured us.

Lena: I've had years of practice.

Lukas: [quietly] Yeah, 200 years too long.

Daphne: And those zombies are just the poor souls you drained. They were just trying to warn us, so we wouldn't suffer the same fate they did.

Simone: Pretty smart, for a television reporter.

Then, a primal roar was heard from far away.

Lena: Sounds like Jacques has found your frightened friends. Or maybe the cute mystic one.

Simone: The woman of the fire told us that to live on forever without needing to drain the life force of others and never reverting into these monsters, we have to gain the essence from the mystic that is capable of magic.

Lukas: [quietly] Yipe.

Fred: Are you saying that Lukas has magic?

Velma: That can't be possible.

Daphne: Entirely, we know that he's an expert with physics and stuff, but never magic.

Lena: The ghosts can only be seen one of two ways through a reflection or you have to have magic coursing through your veins. Of course, that's how he saw that darn cat.

Velma: Cat. The ghost cat.

Daphne: Jeepers. I guess Lukas does have magic after all.

Meanwhile, Scooby and Shaggy were running away right before they were cornered by Jacques, who growled at them.

Jacques: Goin' somewhere?

Jacques taunted before he picked up the frightened duo by the necks and held them up as they began struggling.

Jacques: What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?

Jacques asked before he snarled and laughed. The zombies go to Jacques, picking him down, giving Shaggy and Scooby an advantage to escape.

Jacques gave out a sort of distressed growl, attracting Lena and Simone's attention.

Lena: Jacques is in trouble!

Simone: Forget about him! We just drain them now while the moonlight is in the midnight alignment.

Simone urged as she pointed to the gang first and then the moondial, which was showing the moonlight approaching the middle, which is represented by a cat's head, before she and Lena began growling, ready to drain the lifeforce from Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Beau as they swept their claws as the gang was struggling to break free.

Lukas: NO![echoes/covered his mouth and hides]

They stop to hear his voice.

Fred: That voice! It's Lukas!

Lena: [sniffs his scent/evil smile] And he's here.

Lukas: [gulps]

Simone: Forget them, and let's go after the mystic one instead.

He quickly sneaks away to avoid them.

Lena: Lukas~. Where are you~?

Lukas was hiding behind the rocks.

Simone and Lena sniff around.

Simone: Come on out, boy, we won't hurt you.

Lena: We can make this work for both of us, Lukas, me, and you.

Shaggy and Scooby: Ahhhhhh!

Shaggy and Scooby running for their lives. Then they trip and fall into the cave and crash into Simone and Lenathus saving the group's lives as they see them struggle.

Lukas: Guys!

Shaggy: Like what are you guys doing, charades?

Velma: Jinkies! Look out!

The two were behind them, ready to strike.

Simone: [enraged] I had enough of that meddling dog!

Scooby: Rog? Rhere?

Lukas: [comes out of hiding] Hey! Why don't pick someone your own size?!

Simone: [evil smile] Like you?

Lukas: [fear] Oops.

Lena: [evil smile] Hello, suger~.

Lukas: [fear] Double oops.

Frankly, that frustrated the two cat creatures even more as they snarled and hissed before, and even while, their transformation progressed.

First, it showed Lena's skin turning brown as her fingers grew while the blouse wound up tearing apart before it showed her shoes quickly torn apart by her feet turning into panther-like paws with claws as toenails.

Then, it showed Simone's shirt sporting a hole from the back of the shirt, as well as the top of the sleeves, as well as the rest before the brown fur progressed afterward, Simone snarled like a tiger before Lena went through the same thing, except the back of her shirt remained intact before she snarled and then both roared and proceeded to slash their claws at the air for practice as they walked forward.

Lukas stood back as he saw the pentagram stars on their chest that slowly glowed.

Lukas: Split up!

They quickly run away from the two werecats.

Simone: Lena! Go get the mystic one!

Lena: With pleasure.

Lena goes to the path Lukas went as Simone follows Shaggy and Scooby. As they run their feet accidentally kick the voodoo dolls next to the fire which might make Fred, Velma, Daphne, and Beau sweat as they will get melted by the fire soon.

Lukas: Oh no.

Lukas quickly runs and kicks the dolls away from the fire.

Lena: [hisses]

Lukas quickly runs as Lena chases him.

Lena: [cornered Lukas] Come on, Lukas~. There's nothing to be afraid of~.

Lukas: That you say, worries me!

Lena growls at Lukas.

Lena: Aw, don't be like that~.

Lukas: You and Simone are trying to drain my friends of their life forces!

Lena pounced at Lukas as he conjured a magic shield, and magically knocked her back.

Shaggy and Scooby see the zombies coming in as they run. They quickly avoid them, not knowing the zombies went to Simone.

Lukas: Shaggy and Scooby! The zombies are the good guys!

Shaggy: Like, are you nuts?!

Lena roars.

Lukas: They're victims, stuck in a limbo.

Lena: And you're next!

The zombies hold Lena down.

Lukas: Thanks!

The two throw them away as Shaggy and Scooby run.

Lukas: Alright, kitties. Time to clean up your act.

He uses his magic as he fires it at the two.

Shaggy: Hang on, Luke!

Lukas moves his hands as the magic covers the area.

Lukas: Alright, ladies! Games over!

The light fades and to Lukas' surprise, the two werecats weren't there.

Lukas: Shaggy? Scooby? What are you doing?

Scooby: Rorry.

Lukas: Where's Simone and Lena?

Both of them appear behind Lukas as they hiss.

Lukas: [fear] They're right behind me aren't they?

Shaggy and Scooby: [fear] Yeah/Reah.

Lena: Looking for someone?

Lukas: [fear] Um, no?

Simone and Lena: [roars]

Lukas: Yipe!

He quickly dodged it as they nearly pounced on him. Then, just as they neared the exit, Jacques blocked the way.

He grabs them and lifts them, while Velma frees them from the dolls.

Lukas: Get off!

Lukas blasts Jacques with his conjured hyper-charged ball of electricity and plasma from his hand.

Jacques: OOF!

It hits him down, causing him to drop Shaggy and Scooby.

Lukas: Come on, you two!

Shaggy: Coming!

They quickly go to Lukas. Suddenly, Simone caught Shaggy and Scooby, and Lena caught Lukas.

Lena: Going somewhere?

Lukas: Let us go!

Simone: Not quite, mystic one, your magic is important for us.

Simone started draining Shaggy and Scooby's life force as they began to age and moan tiredly.

Lukas: Shaggy! Scooby!

Lena started draining Lukas' life force. Lukas struggles as he screams in pain.

Lena: His magic. It's delicious.

Lukas slowly breathed heavily as his skin was slowly getting wrinkled.

Lukas: Let... me... GO!

His eyes shine pure light, releasing a shockwave to push them away. Everyone was shocked.

Daphne: Jeepers!

Fred: You guys okay?

Then their life force was restored as they returned to normal

Lukas: I'm... [Panting] I'm alright.

Shaggy: Like, I almost turned into a raisin.

Simone, Lena, and Jaques got up and they snarled at the gang. Beau uses the torch trying to scare them away, but Jacques hits the torch away as they continue to walk towards them.

Lukas: Stay away from my friends, pussycats!

Lukas conjures up another spell. Everyone was surprised to see him doing magic in front of them.

Simone, Lena, and Jacques: [to Lukas] [roars]

Lukas: [fear] Please?

Simone: Get him and his magic!

Lukas: Sorry, Simone. That's not going to happen.

They simply ignored him and went to him.

Lena: Why is that?

Lukas: Because sugah. Your nine lives are up.

They were confused before the smoke came out of them, as it revealed the moon dial went past the cat symbol, hurting more as the pentagram star on their chests started to increase the pain, making their fur disintegrate as they became corpse-like, before being shattered into dust.

Then the zombies come closer to the gang but then begin to turn into nothing but dust and bones as well.

Shaggy: Zoinks! Like what's happening to them?

Lukas: Their spirits have been avenged Shaggy, so they can finally rest in peace.

The spirits begin to float up into the sky and disappear, as the group watches and the ghost of Colonel Jackson T. Pettigrew appears behind Scooby before he notices him.

Colonel Jackson T. Pettigrew: Thank you...

Scooby screams in fear as he is gone. Lukas hears a meow as he turns to Lulu with her owner and her mother.

Alice: [walks to Lukas] Thank you, mister.[hugs him]

Lukas smiled as he slowly hugged her.

Lukas: You, Lulu, and your mother are free now.

The ghosts vanished in the wind.

Then, Daphne spoke.

Daphne: I can't believe all this, and without our videotape, no one else will either. I got nothing on my show.

Lukas: Well. About that.

Lukas goes into his pocket and shows the tape

Lukas: I saved the tape. Count this as my birthday present to you Daph.

Daphne: Thank you, Lukas, you're a lifesaver.

Daphne gave Lukas a big warm hug.

Lukas: Still, I highly doubt that the police will believe what we witnessed.

Velma: Or even believe that you have magic.

Beau: Don't be so sure. I'm Detective Beau Neville. Been working undercover, investigating the island disappearances.

Beau explained as he held out his badge.

Velma: Jinkies, so that's why you were digging around.

Lukas: Cool.

Beau: Yes ma'am, just trying to dig up evidence. [sighs] Not positive my superiors will buy this story though.

Then, Daphne spoke to Beau.

Daphne: Beau, um, Detective Neville, have you ever been on TV?

Daphne asked, earning Beau's surprised smile. Next morning...

It was a beautiful sun rising, showing Fred and Daphne at the docks.

Daphne: You know, Fred, with all the zombies and cat creatures gone, this is a pretty romantic spot.

Fred: Yeah.

Velma and Beau were seen to get on the boat.

Beau: The bayou casts a spell all its own, and no matter how hard you try to solve its mystery, it always keeps something hidden.

Velma: Wow. That was beautiful. There's a bit of a poet in you.

Beau: Heh heh. I don't know about that, ma'am, but I would like to write Detective stories someday.

Velma: Jinkies! I've always been crazy about a good detective..story, that is. I even own my mystery bookstore.

Lukas: And what about me? No one needs to know that magic exists.

Beau: Your secret is safe with us, which was a mystery that somehow you have magic.

Velma: [smiles] I think you got some explaining to do.

Lukas: [chuckles nervously] Best me and my grandfather will tell you that when we get home.

The Mystery Machine drives to the ferryboat.

Velma: Where's Scooby?

Shaggy: He's picking a peck of peppers, for the road. [Laughs] Hurry up Scoob, we're pulling out!

Lukas: Best to take the whole tree. [Digs the tree out and carries it]

Scooby goes to the boat but is stuck at the stick before launching him across the wooden boat of Snakebite he catches Big Mona but jumps out.

Snakebite: Dang tourists!

Scooby made it on the boat, as their leaving Lukas looked back and saw the ghost of Alice May and Lulu waving at him he smiled and did the same.

Lukas: I'll see you two again, in a new life. [Tears flow from his eyes, as he slowly wipes them off]

Scooby gets the peppers on his sandwich but then sees the cats with glowing green eyes in front of him.

Lukas: Huh? Hey, where do all of you come from?!

Scooby: Rats?! Rikes!

As the island was deserted with the three Werecats gone, the wind blew as footsteps were heard, showing fancy-looking shoes walking to the house, heading downstairs as the person reached the sanctum to go to the room, and found the necklace Simone once wore and picked it up.

???: Always the flea in my hair, you three have lost your life.

The wind blows hard, the fire starts to light up in purple color, and the dust forms around the person, becoming someone familiar.

The person appears as an adult woman in an hourglass figure, wearing a dress that covers her from shoulders to legs, long hair of dark color, pointy nails, and bears the pentagram star necklace. She is Morgana.

Morgana: You and Lena were destined to join the natives that died here, Simone.

Morgana Le Fey was furious, knowing that her plan failed.

Morgana: [angrily grips the necklace as it shows cracks] Worse that you have failed to retrieve the essence from the successor of Merlin.

She sighs and calms herself down.

Morgana: No matter, from what I see from my star, he's only young, he won't be enough to get in the way.

The fire shows the image of Lukas Pegram.

Morgana: Your grandchild won't be enough to stop my goal for this world, Merlin.
