After a few moments of sailing, Lena was impressed by Lukas' wisdom.

Lukas: So, yeah, that's how physics works.

Lena: You got quite the brain for your age.

Lukas: Thanks. I get that a lot.

Lena: Might even know more with that brain of yours.

Lena creases his cheek. Lukas' face turns bright red.

Lukas: W-Well, I might even show you later.

Lena smiled at the bashful science nerd.

Lena: Maybe I might.

Then we see the ferry still rolling as Jacques sees something.

Jacques: Moonscar Island, dead ahead.

They see the island as they get closer. They make it to the docks and then Jacques leaves.

Jacques: And Ms. Lena you give my best to Ms. Lenoir, you hear, cher?

Lena Dupree: I'll do that, Jacque. Thanks! Ready? Follow me and hang on. These roads are a little bumpy.

They drive through the road and it is bumpy like Lena said the gang starts shaking as the Mystery Machine drives through the road. Later they arrived at the house.

Daphne Blake: Wow! There's our haunted house! Are you getting all this Fred?

Fred Jones: Yep, got it Daph. (Sees all the cats) Lena wasn't kidding this place is crawling with cats.

Scooby-Doo: Rats? (He borrows Fred's camera to see the cats) Rats!

He jumps out of the van and chases the cats away.

Shaggy Rogers: Come back, Scoob!

Lukas: Heel, Scoob! Heel!

Scooby chases the cats underneath the house and then knocks the plants down.

Beau Neville: Hey, you dumb mutt! I just planted those!

Scooby gets stuck in the wheel.

Scooby: Rats!

Daphne Blake: Scooby! Leave them alone!

One cat makes a mocking noise. Scooby-Doo breaks free from the wheel as Scooby catches the plant.

Lena Dupree: Great with cats, huh?

Shaggy Rogers: Scooby-Doo! STOP!!!

Lukas: Don't make me use the whistle!

Beau Neville: I spend a whole week on that planter!

Scooby continues to chase a white cat and then bumps into Beau.

Scooby-Doo: Rxcuse re.

He continues to chase the cat and then the cat lands on the woman's arm.

Scooby-Doo: Ruh-roh!

It was too late, Scooby crashes into the woman as the cat jumps away.

Lena Dupree: Ms. Lenoir!

The cat walks away, and Scooby tries to chase it again, but Shaggy stops him.

Simone Lenoir: Who brought this... this... dog?

Scooby-Doo: Rog? Rhere?

Lukas: She means you. You're the dog.

Daphne Blake: I'm terribly sorry. We should have held on to him better. I'm Daphne Blake of Coast to Coast. You know the TV show?

Simone Lenoir: We do not have television on my island. Lena, what are they doing here?

Lena Dupree: It's all my fault, Mr. Lenoir. I heard these folks say they wanted to see a real haunted house. So I thought...

Simone Lenoir: You might show them mine. I see. Really, Lena.

Daphne Blake: But your house is simply beautiful, Ms. Lenoir. Isn't it, Fred?

Fred Jones: Picture perfect.

Simone Lenoir: It has been in my family for generations. It was a pepper plantation. Some of the hottest peppers in Louisiana grow on this island.

Shaggy Rogers: We've hit the proverbial chili pepper jackpot.

Velma Dinkley: So, Ms. Lenoir, is your house...

Simone Lenoir: Haunted? Yes. it is an old house with restless spirits.

Hearing this Shaggy and Scooby looked at each other scared.

Lukas: Does she have to say "restless spirits?"

Simone Lenoir: You're welcome to look around if you like.

Daphne Blake: Would we ever! Do you mind us taping?

Simone Lenior: No, of course not. I'd be most flattered.

The gang walks up the steps.

Simone Lenoir: But you have to do something about your... "dog."

Shaggy Rogers: Like food always keeps Scooby occupied.

Simon Lenoir: If that keeps him from chasing my cats. You're welcome to my kitchen.

Shaggy Rogers: Groovy. Come on Scoob.

They walked as the gardener looked at the damage Scooby caused.

Lukas secretly repairs it with his magic.

Lukas: [quietly] That should do it.

Fred Jones: Sorry for all the damage, Lena.

Lena Dupree: Don't worry, Beau will take care of it.

Daphne Blake: Beau?

Lena Dupree: Our new gardener.

Lukas: Looks like he's done.

Lena: Really, already?

Lukas: Yep.

Beau: [Looks at the fixed garden] What the?

Lena: That's quick.

Beau: [to himself] Hmmm. Something is strange going on.

Suddenly, a blur comes through the window surprising the gang as it lands in Lukas' arms, When he looks down he sees... a scared little kitten.

Lukas: Hello little one, where did you come from?

Scooby: Rat! [growls]

Lukas: Easy, Scoob! This kitten is scared.

He notices a tag on the cat's collar

Lukas: Lulu so your name is Lulu huh

The cat meows in response and Lukas also notices something else.

Lukas: If found please return to Alice May. Who's Alice May?

The kitten looks down as it goes close to Lukas. Lulu started purring and snuggled against Lukas' chest.

Lukas: I promise to return you to Alice May, even if she's not there anymore, I'll always look out for you.

Lukas enters to meet with the others. In the kitchen, Scooby walked in first and spotted a couple of bowls of cat food before sniffing them up and expressing disgust.

Scooby: Rat rood. Ruck!

Shaggy: Forget the cat food, Scoob. [opens the lid to let the steam out] There's a lot better chow in this kitchen. [Sniffs] Mmmm, smells great, it's gumbo, isn't it?

Lena: [brought the lemonade/to Lukas] Your friends do know their food.

Lukas: They've traveled a lot to find food.

Shaggy: Yep, when there's a mystery, there's food. Mind if we try it?

Lena: Be my guest.

As they both leave, both Shaggy and Scooby pour themselves some gumbo, before reaching the pantry with the peppers in it.

Shaggy: These puppies oughta do the trick.

In the living room, Lena passes the cups of lemonade to the group.

Fred: Mmm! Delicious lemonade, Lena.

Lena: Why thank you.

Daphne: So, how long have you worked for M-?

They all heard screaming.

Velma: The guys!

Lukas: Come on!

They quickly go to the kitchen, only to see Shaggy and Scooby, dousing the fire in their mouths with lemonade and water.

Shaggy: Like, that was some hot pepper.

Lena: Those are Moonscar Island peppers.

Simone: I wasn't exaggerating when I said they were the hottest peppers in Louisiana.

Lukas: You weren't kidding.

Fred: With all the screaming, we thought you might have seen a ghost!

Shaggy: If we do, you'll be the first to know.

Shaggy assured as Lena swept up the broken pitcher with a broom.

Daphne: Sorry for the interruption, Miss Lenoir.

Simone: Please, call me Simone. Shall we continue our tour of the house?

Daphne: Great, Miss... uh, Simone.

Velma: Maybe you guys should say away from those peppers."

Velma suggested as she ran with Fred and Daphne.

Shaggy: Right, we'll just stick with the gumbo. [Cleans up the glass] If you don't mind Lena.

Lena: Of course not, I'm glad you like it, help yourselves.

Lukas: Come on, Lulu.

The kitten goes to Lukas as he picks her up, and follows Lena as they both leave. Then, Shaggy and Scooby decided to eat peppers again.

Shaggy: Come on. I dare you.

Shaggy dated before Scooby refused.

Scooby: Ruh-uh. Rou first.

Shaggy: Not chicken, are you, old buddy? Old pal?

Shaggy continued, peeving as Scooby shook his head in response. Suddenly, Shaggy and Scooby felt a chill.

Shaggy: Brrr! Like, that's funny. A second ago, I was on fire, and now it's freezing.

Scooby: Reah. Fr-Fr-Fr-Freezing.

Shaggy: Tell you what, [he splits the pepper apart] like we'll split this big one, that'll warm us up.

The screen shows the different areas with the fireplace.

Velma: Now this is a great library, Simone.

Velma complimented just before Shaggy and Scooby yelled in panic.

Daphne: Now what?

Lukas: Better not be the peppers again.

They leave the room before heading to the kitchen, seeing Shaggy and Scooby not there, not before noticing the pantry door shaking.

Fred: What is it?

Lukas opened the door to see the two frightened.

Daphne: Peppers, again?

Shaggy: Like, this place is haunted!

Scooby: R-Rrighting! Rrighting!

However, Daphne sang a different tune.

Daphane: Wow! Fred, get a shot of that!

Daphne shouted to Fred.

Velma: Jinkies!

Velma exclaimed as she felt the words on the wall.

Daphane: Simone, could you come to stand next to me, please?

Daphne asked as she brushed her hair. Velma backs away from the drawing as Daphne stands in front of the writing with Simone.

Daphne: Here we are at Miss Simone Lenoir's kitchen, where we've had our first encounter with the supernatural spirits of Moonscar Island. You can feel the chill in the air.

Daphne spoke just before said chill in the air emerged, with the wind blowing on.

Daphne: CUT! Who opened the window?

Velma: Nobody, look! [Velma points at the wall, now saying "Beware"]

Fred: "Beware".

Daphne: Wow! Is this great stuff or what?

Daphne shouted with joy while Lukas, Scooby, and Shaggy shook nervously.

Shaggy: R-R-Right. L-L-Like, great!

Simone: The haunting might just be starting, after sundown, the ghosts get more restless.

Lukas: [acting] Hey. I just remembered. I get to go to college tomorrow, I gotta work on my project, and goodbye.

Lukas leaves the room with the kitten.

Daphne: Ahem.

He stops when he turns to Daphne.

Daphne: How long do you think you can head to school?

Lukas: Probably...

Daphne: You're bad a liar.

Lukas: I know.

Lukas slumps a bit from what she said, while Velma taps the wall.

Velma: Hmm. This seems pretty solid.

Daphne: [brushes her hair] Keep rolling, Fred, maybe we'll have another ghostly manifestation!

Daphne stated before Fred noticed something going on right now.

Daphne: Freddy, I'm over here.

Fred: [holding the camera] It's Velma!

That said, Velma is suddenly levitating, which freaks out.

Lukas: Whoa.

Simone gasps in shock.

Fred: We've been levitated before, and there's always a magnet or wires somewhere.

Lukas: Uh, Fred? I don't think there are magnets or wires.

Daphne: Wow, a real case of levitation! [Velma gets float up more] This just gets better and better!

At which Velma covers the front of her skirt.

Velma: Maybe from where you're standing. Does anybody want to try getting me down

Lukas: sure thing Velm

Lukas walks over and goes to pull her down only for her to fall on him.

Lukas: [in pain] Ow. My ribs.

Velma: Nice catch. Thanks.

Lukas: [in pain] No problem. Now would you kindly get up, please?

Velma does so and Lukas checks on Lulu and finds not a scratch on her

Lukas: [quietly] How odd?

The kitten meows and snuggles Lukas, at which he pets her. Later on with the whole gang plus Lena and Simone in the library looking over the footage they just got

Daphne(video): You can feel the chill in the air.

just like before the wind goes past in the video

Daphne(video): Cut! Who opened a window?

Daphne: play it again Fred I think I saw something.

Fred: Sure

And so Fred rewinds the footage

Daphne(video): Who opened a window?

Daphne: There! Could you enhance this shot?

Fred: Yeah. let me darken the image a little. Bring up the sharpness a bit and- hey

The image shows what looks to be a pirate ghost behind Daphne in the video.

Velma: It looks like, a ghost!

Simone: It is the ghost of Morgan Moonscar. Here, let me show you. [She goes to the books and pulls the specific one out]

Lukas: Wow.

That said, his ring emits a faint hue.

Lukas: Huh?

He looks at his ring before it slowly fades away.

Lukas: It's... telling me something.

Simone: This is the portrait of Morgan McCride, the moon-shaped scar is why he became better known as Morgan Moonscar.

Lukas: Whoa.

Lulu meows in agreement.

Velma: That's him, alright, and he wants us out.

Shaggy: We be happy to get out.

Daphne: A real pirate ghost, fabulous! I can't thank you enough for opening your haunted house for us, Simone.

Lukas: Oi.

Simone: So, you're not going to heed  Moonscar's threat?

Lukas: Actually-[muffled]

Daphne covers his mouth before he says anything else.

Daphne: Are you kidding? We don't scare that easily.

Fred: Besides, it's probably just a hologram of a guy in a pirate suit.

After listening to Fred, Lukas takes a look at the picture and then the video to spot a difference but can't

Lukas: (mind) If this is fake it's hard to tell. How interesting.

Daphne: Then why did it only show up on tape?

Velma: that's the mystery.

Fred: But there's always a logical explanation for these things.

The group then heard a noise that sounded like growling.

Simeone: What was that?

Lukas: That's Shaggy's stomach.

Shaggy: We're hungry, and we're gonna get some food, to go!

Both Scooby and Shaggy head to the kitchen.

Lukas: I'm kinda hungry too.

Lukas follows them as Shaggy and Scooby pack up the food.

Velma: [followed Lukas]

Shaggy: Like what are you two doing back here?

Velma: We wanted to take another look at the wall.

Shaggy: What's to look at? It's pretty clear that the ghost wants us out! Come on, Scoob. Let's go

Velma starts scratching at the wall while Lukas goes into the pantry

Velma: It Isn't hollow, but maybe.

Velma continues to scratch as part of the wallpaper comes off.

Lukas: There's something under here Velma.

Lukas grabs the spatula and starts scraping the wall to show hidden words.

Velma: M-A-

Lena enters the kitchen, before gasping in shock to see them.

Lena: What are you doing to my kitchen?!

Lukas: Ah, sorry!

Velma: Jinkies, I guess he got a little carried away.

Velma slightly blushed next to a sign that said "Maelstrom". Later, Velma was looking something about that up in the book Simone showed earlier.

Velma: Bingo!

Simone: Would you mind telling me why your friend destroyed half my kitchen?

Daphne: Yeah Velma, let us in on it.

Velma: Well, according to this book, the Maelstrom was the name of Morgan Moonscar's pirate ship.

Velma stated, slightly surprising Simone.

Simone: The Grimness Book of Records? But I thought that book was only in Transylvania.

Lukas: How do you know about it?

Simone: Parts of this house are quite old. Pieces of the pirate ship could have been used in the construction. Morgan Moonscar was rumored to have buried treasure on the island, though it was...never found.

Fred: Treasure? Aha! I knew it, it was some guy disguised as a pirate ghost, trying to scare everyone off the island!

Lukas: Uh, dial it down, Fred.

Outside, shaggy and Scooby are shown to be sweating and shedding tears from the heat of the peppers they're eating.

Shaggy: Like.., your turn, pal!

Shaggy wheezed as he picked up another pepper for Scooby.

As Shaggy lifted it, Scooby slurped up his tongue before Scooby ate it with Shaggy still holding on to it, forcing him to remove his hand from Scooby's mouth before Scooby swallowed it and slurped up his mouth just before he teared up, puffed out smoke from his nostrils, and then spewed out fire from his mouth as a train whistle was comically heard during the stage before he then tried to eat Shaggy's sandwich only for Shaggy to stop him.

Shaggy: Zoinks! Like, don't use my sandwich to wash it down. Eat some of that creole potato salad.

Shaggy suggested before he ate his sandwich. Scooby fan his mouth, before seeing the cats eating the potato salad.

Scooby: Rats?! [Growls as the cats run away before he chases them]

However, during the chase, he was unaware that he was messing up the grass as well.

Shaggy: Come back Scoob! [He quickly puts the grass in the holes] That grouchy gardener isn't going to be happy about this!

Meanwhile, during the chase, after the three cats went inside the log, Scooby wound up stuck in a log before the three cats then went out of the log and poked some fun at Scooby as they snickered.

Scooby gets out of the log, only to have a frog stuck to his face, tries to pull it off before slamming it into the tree.

After that, Scooby's mouth then shook up a bit, prompting Scooby to inflate it a bit before his snout comically wound up being a sort of accordion.

The cats laughs at Scooby, making him growl as he shakes his snout back to normal before chasing the cats.

Shaggy: Come back, Scoob!

Shaggy shouted before he noticed said pepper plant.

Shaggy: Oh, man! I can't pass up a hot opportunity like this."

Shaggy admitted as he grabbed some peppers and put them on his shirt carefully.
Scooby chases the cats across the fallen logs before falling into a pond, making the catfish jump a bit before Scooby comes out with seaweed on his head.

Snakebite Scruggs: Hey, you scared away Big Mona!

Scooby: Rorry.

Snakebite: Dang tourists, get 'em, Mojo!

Snakebite spoke before Mojo went up from the grassy plains and prepared to charge.

Scooby: Ruh-roh!

Mojo began to take charge as he darted toward Scooby, prompting him to flee quickly. Scooby runs past Shaggy as he is still picking the peppers.

Shaggy: What's the matter, Scoob? Not afraid of a few cats, are ya?

Scooby: Ruh-uh! Rojo!

Shaggy: Rojo?

He turns to see the pig heading towards him.

Shaggy: Zoinks! You mean "Mojo"!

He quickly follows Scooby while getting chased by Mojo, before realizing that Shaggy and Scooby aren't moving, before looking down to see the hole and fall.

Then, Mojo snorted in response before turning around and walking back to Snakebite.

Shaggy: Zoinks. How humiliating, being chased into a hole by one-third of a BLT?

Then, Scooby was shown to be lifting Shaggy as he tried to reach the rope.

Shaggy: Like, Hang on. I'll have us out in a second.

Shaggy assured as Scooby struggled to keep him up.

Scooby: RI hope so.

Then, when Shaggy pulled up, he fell as the rope broke apart, causing the dirt to come apart, revealing a sort of skeleton. They scream seeing a skeletal hand, wasn't enough as the green vortex was above before it went to the skeleton.

Then, the skeleton suddenly moved by itself and fell off, earning Shaggy and Scooby shivered in fear before landing on the ground. Then, it began to reform back into place before it grew flesh, as well as clothes and facial hair, and moaned before the green glow disappeared and he opened his glowing white eyes, one of which had a Moonscar next to it.

They scream in fear as the deceased body of Moonscar pulls out his rusty sword, slowly going towards them. Shaggy and Scooby hop out with Shaggy climbing on Scooby's Head before he lifts Shaggy out to freedom.

Shaggy and Scooby quickly run away as the dead pirate captain crawls out, slowly going to them. They kept running until they bumped into Beau.

Shaggy: Like, aren't we glad to see you?

Beau: What are you two doing here, trying to ruin my flowers?!

Shaggy: If you want to plant something, like, there's a dead guy following us!

Scooby: Reah, read ruy!

The three of them get up.

Beau: Oh incredible. Where? I don't see anything.

They suddenly heard rustling in the bushes. They suddenly got shocked and revealed to be the others coming out.

Lukas: What's going on, guys? We could hear you guys screaming outside the house.

Shaggy: Oh it's you guys. Like it was horrible, that pirate Moonscar's nothing but bones, [Scooby mimics the zombie pirate] and then... And then, he got worse, like a zombie!

Simone: Oh dear!

Fred: Where did all this happen?

They both point as the circle of the screen to show them at the same hole.

Fred: Are you sure you saw a zombie?

Shaggy: Like, we know a zombie when we see one.

Scooby: Reah, rombie!

Shaggy: [points at Beau] And then we ran into him.

Lulu meows

Lukas: I know, Lulu.

Velma: Lukas, who are talking to?

Lukas: My kitten, Lulu.

Daphne: What kitten?

Lukas: This one is in my hand.

Everyone didn't see the kitten in his hand.

Velma: Lukas, can you stop playing around talking about imaginary cats?

Lukas: Huh, I'm holding her in my hand can't you see her?

Shaggy: Like, have you eaten one of those peppers, that heat must've made you see things.

Velma: [figured it out] I wouldn't be so sure, Shaggy.

Shaggy: Like, why is that?

Velma: Because I believe Lukas is holding a ghost that only you can see.

Lukas: Wait, what?!

He looks at Lulu, at which she meows to emit a smoke-like aura around it.
