On the street.

Velma Dinkley: Let's take a look behind these trees.

They go behind the trees and see some tire tracks on the ground.

Velma: What are these tire tracks doing back here?

Ben Ravencraft: Strange the road's back there.

Velma: Right. Let's see where these tracks lead.

Shaggy: Like can't we follow them tomorrow, like after breakfast? (gulped)

Then, they go to an abandoned barnhouse, when Velma sees something.

Velma: Shh.

Then a person came out of the barn. Revealing that it was Mayor Corey.

Velma: Jinkies, it's the mayor.

Ben Ravencraft: What's he doing here?

Velma: I don't know, but we're going to find out what's in that barn. Scooby and Shaggy will follow the mayor.

Shaggy: We will?

Velma: Fine, you check the barn and we'll follow the mayor.

Shaggy and Scooby looked at the barnhouse and got scared.

Shaggy: On second thought, we'll take the mayor. He'll never know we're on his tail, ey, Scoob?

Scoob: Reah.

Shaggy accidentally stepped on Scooby's tail.

Scooby: Rouch!

Shaggy Rogers: Oops. Sorry, Scoob.

Scooby shakes his tail to make it feel better.

As they split up, Meanwhile as the Mayor walked to the street of Oakhaven. Shaggy and Scooby sneak him, the Mayor looks behind at them, but there is no one there, as he walks away, then we go to Scooby, Shaggy, and the others hiding at the Mailbox and sneaking up again.

As the Mayor looks at them again, but no one is there leaves, now we go to Shaggy and Scooby hiding in the tree. They sneak up again.

Meanwhile, at the barn, Velma is trying to open the Lock but it's still locked.

Velma Dinkley: There's gotta be another way in here.

As she sneaks, Then Ben follows her and sneaks quickly, now we cut to Lukas.

Lukas walks with the Hex Girls.

Lukas: Alright, so mind filling me in here?

Thorn: You'll see.

Lukas: Um, okay. [Mentally] Anything about my predicament, Specter?

Specter: Just keep it cool, baby.

Lukas: [Mentally] I'm calm, I'm calm. It's just, it's been a long time since she and I hung out, so I'm trying to keep it my best.

Specter: [made a book of Lukas's memories] I see.

Thorn: And we're here.

Lukas: is that...

Dusk: Yeah, yeah it is.

Luna: It's the old playground.

Thorn: Haven't aged nor changed a bit.

Lukas smiled as he memories the happiest moments in his childhood.

[Flashback]

It shows the playground, Lukas being there while in his seventh, he looks around to see his friends there.

Lukas sees one of his friends, around his age, having black hair in a ponytail, a jersey shirt, and shorts, named Miguel.

And he appears to be climbing.

Kid Miguel: I'm gonna make it, I'm gonna make it!

???: He's going to fall.

Kid Miguel: Wanna bet, Anty?!

The boy who said that shows to be another one of Lukas' friends, except he seems rather stoic and sort of emo, he has brown hair that reaches the neck, wearing a black shirt and pants, and grey shoes, his name is Anthony.

Kid Anthony: I'm already up here.

Kid Miguel turns to his surprise and is shocked to see Kid Anthony next to him

Kid Miguel: Hey no fair, you cheated!

Kid Lukas: Well, he won.

Kid Miguel: He didn't even climb.

???: That's because he used the stairs, Miggy.

The three of them turned around. It shows to be the Hex Girls, except around the boys' age.

Kid Lukas: Wow, you three came on time.

Kid Dusk: [cute] Hi, Anthony.

Kid Anthony: Hi.

Kid Dusk shows to have normal hair, except in light clothing such as a puffy shirt and knee-length pants.

Kid Miguel: Hey, Luna.

Kid Luna: Hey.

Kid Luna shows to have normal but frizzy hair, wearing a striped long-sleeve shirt and shorts with ripped edges.

Kid Thorn: Whatcha doin'?

Kid Thorn appears to have the same hair but fewer highlights, a red-sleeved shirt, and, a skirt with black lines.

Kid Lukas: Doing nothing.

Kid Miguel: I want ice cream.

Kid Anthony: Could go for a drink.

Kid Dusk: But you're not old enough.

Kid Anthony: Not that kind of drink.

Kid Dusk: Hm? [Realizes what he meant] Oh, right, that kind.

Kid Lukas: Guys, look. Ice Cream Truck.

The ice cream truck slowly comes by the playground, playing its jingle.

Kid Miguel: [hyped] Ice cream!

Kid Luna: [hyped] I'm gonna get to the truck before you, Miggy!

Kid Luna: [hyped] I'm gonna get to the truck before you, Miggy!

All: [chanting] Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream! Ice cream!

The kids head to the ice cream truck, and it stops for the kids.

[End of Flashback]

Thorn: Man I missed this playground so much.

Lukas: Me too.

Fred and Daphne spies on them.

Fred: That playground feels nostalgic to them.

Daphne: Yeah.

Thorn: I think we'll have to perform our ritual, girls.

Dusk: Not tonight Thorn, my powers are weak from rehearsing.

Luna: Mine too, how about tomorrow just before the concert?

Thorn: Never mind, I'll do it myself, See you in the morning, Bad dreams, sisters.

Dusk and Luna: Bad dreams, sister Thorn.

Lukas: Uh, bad dreams?

Thorn: Good dreams before our nightly slumber, Luke. Now it's the both of us, how about we get some catching up to do?

Lukas: Uuuuuu...

Specter: [as Lukas] Sure, Thorn. I would love to.

Thorn: Splendid, things have been different since we all split up.

Lukas: [mentally/annoyed] Specter!

Specter: Just playing the matchmaker here. [Turns into a Cupid]

Dusk and Luna: Bye, Luke~.[leaves]

Lukas: Bye you two.

Thorn: [grabs his hand] Come on.[giggles]

Lukas: Whoa, okay.

Thorn brings Lukas with her, while Fred and Daphne follow. Now we cut to Ben Holding Velma, As she tries to get to the barn.

Velma: Just a little higher.

Ben Ravencraft: I can't.

As her foot puts to Ben's head.

Velma: That's great.

Ben Ravencraft: Wonderful.

As Velma manages to get inside the barn, she makes crashing noises.

Ben Ravencraft: Velma, Are you okay?

Velma: I'm fine. (She opens the door) Come on.

Now we cut to the Mayor who is walking to the hardware. As Shaggy, Scooby, and the others are spying on him.

Shaggy: This mayor's one busy guy.

Scooby: Reah.

They hid as the mayor came out.

Mayor Corey: Okay, Willard. You take it easy now.

He walks down the sidewalk, as he sees a couple kissing, smiling.

Mayor Corey: Ah, young love.

But the couple turns out to be Shaggy and Scooby spying on him.

As they look at the Mayor, as he looks at them, but no one is there, as he gives a package to a woman, we go to Shaggy and Scooby hiding in the bush.

We cut to Velma and Ben, She uses a Flashlight to discover the Stairs and Tractor Truck, as she touches the truck, she can feel warm.

Velma: It's still warm, Ben.

Ben Ravencraft: But who will be driving it, this late at night?

Velma: That's the mystery.

Now we cut to Lukas and Thorn who was walking to a house.

Lukas: We're going to your house?

Thorn: We going behind the house silly.

Lukas: Wait really?

Thorn: [giggles] Come on.[grabs his hand and walks him to the back of the house]

Fred and Daphne sneak up and see them walking to the small garage. They sneak up and the lights turn on in the garage.

Thorn: Lukas, can you pass me that?

She points to a bottle on the side and Lukas nods handing it to her

They see Lukas and Thorn doing a magic spell. Much to their shock as they hide.

Fred: What's she up to?

Daphne: I don't know, and since Lukas is capable of magic, I think she might need his magic to do something dangerous. Like a witch.

Thorn smells the magic potion.

Now we cut to the Mayor who is walking, then he looks behind again and sees some shadows who are hiding, then he walks away, then Shaggy and Scooby sneak up using a hiding bush, as the Mayor goes to the warehouse, he looks behind, But he enters into the warehouse.

Shaggy: Like he won't ditch us that easily, Scoob.

They sneak up quickly.

Shaggy: Shh.

Scooby: Yeah, shh.

As Shaggy opens the Barn door and enters, they find nothing, and then they hear bat sounds, as they sneak quietly.

Shaggy: Like, where do you think he went, Scoob?

Scooby: I don't know.

They hear a noise, they look up and see the witch's ghost.

Witch's Ghost: How dare you disturb my resting place!

They shout in terror.

Witch's Ghost: THIS TOWN WILL PAY!!!
(She flies toward Shaggy and Scooby.)

Shaggy: Like, send them a bill! But leave us alone!

They go the other way, as they run through the wall and run over the mayor and they run into two people, who turn out to be Velma and Ben.

Ben Ravencraft: I can't see a thing without my glasses.

Velma: Me neither.

Velma's and Ben's hands touch each other.

Velma & Ben Ravencraft: Sorry.

Velma and Ben's glasses accidentally got mixed up.

Velma & Ben Ravencraft: Sorry.

They switch their glasses back.

Daphne: Hey, what's going on?

Ben Ravencroft: Ask Scooby and Shaggy.

Fred: Well, where are they?

Velma: That's no mystery.

They go to a shaking mailbox.

Daphne: So, what happened guys?

Shaggy: Like, we'd followed the mayor to some warehouse and that ghost attacked us.

Velma: He did? There goes my cherry-picker theory.

Fred: Cherry Picker theory? Wait till we tell you what we saw at Thorn's place.

Shaggy Rogers: Hey, Like we were aborting here first, right Scoob?

Scooby: Yeah.

Shaggy: The mayor was one busy guy. Picking things up. (Scooby lands on him) And dropping things off.

Velma: Like what?

Mayor Corey: What is going on here?! What's the big idea running over me?

We cut to the warehouse.

Mayor Corey: As you can see, there's nothing here. Except for the damaged wall.

The gang sees the holes.

Velma: Sorry about that, Mayor. Scooby and Shaggy just lose it when they get scared. I'm worried that staying in Oakhaven might just be too frightening and experienced for them. I think we should leave.

Ben Ravencraft: Really?

Scooby licks Velma's face.

Mayor Corey: Well, I'm sorry to hear that.

Velma: But, I need to get one more clue before the night is over. Then I think I'll solve the mystery of the Witch's ghost before tomorrow's Autumn's fest.

Mayor Corey: Oh, great, I'll do anything I can to help. (As he leaves)

Shaggy: Like I should have known leaving, Wasn't that an option?

Daphne: What was that all about, Velma?

Ben Ravencraft: You've got a plan right?

Velma: Here's what we're going to do. But, we need Lukas.

Shaggy: Yeah, like where is he?

Back with Lukas.

Lukas: And it is done.

Thorn: Thanks. This feels nice.

Lukas: What is?

Thorn: A little tea that soothes my throat after singing.

Lukas: Oh. [Chuckles] You know it's funny.

Thorn: What is?

Lukas: My friends thought that you were a witch.

Thorn: What makes them think that?

Lukas: Because of Shaggy and Scooby.

Thorn: Well it wasn't our fault that the teeth are lifelike. [Takes off the fangs]

Lukas: I know.

Thorn: So?

Lukas: So what?

Thorn: What have you been doing these past years?

Lukas: Since the gang and I split up, I went to Coolsville University. Studying physics most of my life.

Lukas talks nerdy while hearing him talking about physics, it makes Thorn laugh a bit to hear him.

Lukas: What?

Thorn: It's always funny to hear you talk nerdy.

Lukas: Yeah. Yeah.

Thorn: And it's cute.

Lukas: [blushes] Uh, thanks. How's your music career?

Thorn: It's going well. Luke, do you think that I'm a witch?

Lukas: No.

Thorn: Would you be scared if I was?

Lukas: No. I never get scared.

Thorn: Oh. But who was nervous and got sweaty palms every time we saw each other?

Lukas: T-That is just a normal reaction to see you age differently.

Thorn smiles flirtatiously and teases the science nerd.

Thorn: [flirty] And what do you know about the biology of the female body?

Lukas: [blushes deeply] Uh...

Specter: Well, come on, Casanova. Think what you said.

Lukas: [mentally] What?

Specter: She's smart. Fun. The hair. The eyes. Anything, pick a feature.

Lukas: [mentally] Well it's hard when I'm being seduced by this extremely attractive female.

Specter: Just be cool.

Lukas: [mentally] Right, right, be cool.

Thorn: Well? I'm waiting.

Lukas: W-Well, given that you would know, you've gained quite the f-features when you and the girls changed.

Thorn: Meaning?

Lukas: You're...

Specter: Wonderful. Magnificent. Enchanted. Punctual.

Lukas: Punctual.

Thorn: "Punctual"?

Specter: Sorry.

Lukas: I mean beautiful.

Specter: Nice recovery.

Thorn: [giggles a bit] Always a bit lost for words.

Lukas: Yeah.

Thorn: [seductive] You think I'm beautiful?[Walks toward Lukas]

Lukas: Yes.

Thorn slowly leans in close to Lukas, with a seductive look on her face.

Thorn: [seductive] The most beautiful woman you ever seen?

Lukas chuckles nervously with a blush. He moves back until he reaches the end of the wall.

Thorn: [seductive] I think any girl would be lucky to have a nice, smart, thoughtful, handsome man like you.

Lukas: W-Well, surely they will, but there might be one who would be with me.

Specter: [flashing red] Warning! Warning!

Thorn goes close to Lukas and slowly places her hand on his cheek. Lukas gazed at her beautiful green eyes.

Then, Thorn slowly leans toward Lukas and closes her eyes. Lukas blushes hard as he slowly puckers his lips.

Lukas: Thorn, i...

Thorn places her finger on Lukas' lips, shushing. Their lips are an inch close until the phone rings.

Lukas: I should probably answer that.

Specter: Mayday! Mayday!

Specter had a pilot helmet on, falling while fire trails came out.

Lukas: [answers his phone] Hey, Velma. Hmm hmm. OK, I'm on my way.[hangs up] I gotta go.

Lukas: I will.

Thorn: Hey. Do you want me to give you my phone number?

Lukas: Right, here you go. [Handed Thorn his phone, at which she types her numbers in]

Thorn: There. Now, you got my number.

Lukas: I'll see you around.

Thorn: Me too.[Kisses his cheek]

Lukas blushes hard from the peck on his cheek. Lukas waves goodbye as he walks through the streets of Oakhaven.

Lukas: Wow that was a lot for me to handle.

Lukas thinks he wants to be in a relationship with Thorn. But, that's when he realizes...

Lukas: Am I... Really in..?

Lukas wonders. If he and Thorn are in a relationship, he'll put her in danger. Lukas looks back before looking in front and proceeds to head to the group.

Lukas: What am I doing? I can't do this.

Specter: [playing chess with a mouse] So, move.

The mouse moves the chess piece and knocks over the king piece.

Specter: That's a good move.[As Rodney Dangerfield] I can’t believe it--I’m losing to a rodent.

Lukas: Specter, I... I need help.

Specter: (as Jack Nicholson) All right, sparky, here’s the deal. You wanna court the little lady, you gotta be a straight shooter, do ya got it?

Lukas: What?

Specter turns to normal, wearing a mortarboard. He points out his words on a blackboard.

Specter: Tell her the...[flips it] TRUTH!

Lukas: No! If she finds out that I'm a sorcerer, Thorn will never be with me.

Specter turns into a lampshade as he lights up on Lukas' head.

Specter: A woman always loves a man with a magic light.

Lukas reaches for the switch and pulls it to turn off the light, coming off of his head to turn back.

Specter: Joking aside, sometimes when it comes to a relationship, there's always a time to be honest.

Lukas: I know. Come on, we're almost there to the barn.

Specter: Let's go.
