A/N: HI! I'm trying not to make these A/N'S so long but I just wanna thank y'all for all the support I've gotten with all of my books! "What's his status?"

"He's in S.V.T. I gave him some Adenosine and some diltiazem."

"Okay, you can take a break now Dr. Kepner."  

Dr. Shepard said, as she is Mitch's new doctor and she has been called into the hospital to help with his tragic case. Scott and Kirstie are still sitting in the 2 chairs right next to Mitch's bedside, they are scared to death for Mitch and very confused about what these doctors are talking about.

"Hello, you must be Mitchell's family, am I correct?"

"Yes, I'm Scott and she's Kirstie."

"Oh, alright. Well, I'm doctor Addison Shepard. I was just called in to come help with his case. Do any of y'all have questions? I'd be happy to answer them while Mitchell here is in my care."

"Yes, actually I do."

"Okay, Scott. Ask away."

"I just don't understand why all of the beeping is happening and I was also wondering what that other doctor was taking about when she said that she had to give him more medication?"

"Well, his heart monitor is beeping erratically because he is in S.V.T. That is just basically where his heart is beating way faster than it should be. So, the doctor that just left a second ago gave Mitchell 2 different types of medications to try and get his heart to calm down a bit and not beat so fast. I know that y'all are scared, I just thought I would mention that there is a chapel in the hospital if you need to go there." (A/N: I really am not sure if all that Is medically correct or not)

"Why are you suggesting we do that? Is he going to die?"

"Kirstie don't say that!"

"Scott I just-"

"No, that doesn't mean he is going to die. Do you guys have anymore questions?"

"Yeah. What's that thing in his mouth?"

"Scott, that is basically a tube we put down his throat so that way we can breathe for him as he cannot breathe by himself at the moment."

After the doctor informs them about why the tube is there the room goes completely silent, Scott and Kirstie didn't even know that Mitch was not even able to breathe on his own so hearing that slapped them in the face with terrible reality.

"Oh, sweetie. Don't you worry, we are going to fix you."

The doctor said to Mitch as she adjusted a few things and left the room, Scott and Kirstie were alone with Mitch for the first time since the accident. They don't know if they should talk to him because nobody is sure that he would be able to hear them anyway.

"Kirst? Should we try to talk to him?"

"No, I think we should sing to him. He would enjoy that better, we both know that."

"I guess you're right, Kirstie. Are you going to sing with me?"

"Totally, we'll just have wait and sing until we get good news."

"He has got a hole in his heart. He need bypass to fix it, and he needs it now!"

"Bypass would mean a lot of Heparin."

"No, we can't do that. It's a set up for a rebleed!"

All of the doctor's were disagreeing on how they can go back in and save Mitch's life, they didn't know what would be the best option for him at the moment.

"We should wait to repair the heart."

"We can't to that either because, he's not stable enough to wait."

"STOP FIGHTING! WE NEED TO SAVE HIM! WE ARE DOCTORS! THAT'S WHAT WE DO!"

Oh, he will be gone

Oh, he will be gone 

"Scott, and Kirstie I have some news. It's not good."

"Okay? Dr. Shepard have y'all decided when you guys are going to open him back up or whatever?"

"No, we haven't. I need to you guys know that Mitchell suffered massive head trauma. He could have neurological damage for the rest of his life...that is if he survives. He my not come back. Even if we manage to save his body, his brain may not come back."

"W-What? You-You can't be serious! He's a fighter, he will make it!"

"Scott, breathe."

"Kirstie-I-I can't!"

"Yes, you can. Thank you for fill us in Doctor, we could use some time alone."

"Of course, I'll be back with updates."

"Scott, hey! Calm down, let's keep singing. For him."

"O-Only f-f-for him."

"Yes, just for your Mitchy."

Wait, wait till the signs are right

"Kirs-Kirstie do you think he's going to make it? Be honest, please."

"I don't know, we can't know. All that I know is that we need to have faith, we should keep singing."

"What if today h-he takes his last breath, Kirstie? Oh...god! I-I-I didn't think about that."

"Don't think, just sing."
