Mitch was just chilling on the couch, watching some TV like he normally does every morning. But, he grabbed the remote and muted it because he heard coughing coming from Scott's bedroom. Mitch sat there for a second but, he decided to get up and go check on him as the coughing never stopped.

"What's going on in here, Scotty?? Oh, oh, crap."

The sight that Mitch saw, he was not at all expecting to see this morning. Scott was sitting up in bed, coughing his lungs out while vomiting at the same time. Mitch froze in shock for a second then he jumped in to help.

"I'm gonna grab a bowl and paper towels, don't move Scott."

Mitch ran into the kitchen for a few seconds, and then quickly came back. He walked over to the side of the bed that Scott was on, giving him the bowl.

"Here, here, take this."

5 minutes later

Scott had finally stopped throwing up, for right now at least. Mitch was grossed out but, he wasn't going to make a big deal out of that though because he needs to be there for Scott. Now he just needed to clean Scott up, without gagging himself.

"Here, wipe your mouth with this paper towel babe."

"I-I'm sorry."

"No, no, don't be sorry. Don't worry about it, we just need to get you cleaned up. Okay?"

"Just give me a sec, and I'll clean it."

"Yeah uh no, Scott. You are sick, and that is the last thing you need to be doing."

"It's my mess, I should-"

"No, let me help you. Scott I'm not asking for permission, I'm helping you no matter what you say. That is what close friends do, and I know I'm in your place right now because you always take care of me like this. It's my turn, this time."

"Thanks. I hate for you to see me like this, all pukey."

"I don't like to see you sick like this either but, that doesn't matter one bit right now. Alright...well, it's all over your bedding but at least you didn't get any on you. Scotty, stand up for me and I'll take you to my bed while I wash all of this."

"I just wanna lay downnnn, Mitchy."

"You can in my bed, babe. Come on, stand up for me."

Scott stood up, and he just swayed on his feet for a second but before anything bad could happen Mitch stabilized him by holding on to both of his hands.

"You okay, Scotty?"

"Y-Yeah, I was just a little dizzy."

"Alright, well, let me know if that happens again."

"I-I-I will."

With that, Mitch slowly guided Scott to his bedroom making sure he was safe. Mitch got him in his bed without any hesitation, which is very odd for Scott because normally when he is ill he won't do anything you want him to do. Once Scott was settled, Mitch went to clean out the bowl for him and returned it.

"Okay, the bowl in right on the nightstand for you and I'm going to clean the bed up. Once I get that done, I'll come back in here and do a few other things to help you. Is there anything else I can get you right now, Scotty?"

Scott pouts but, shakes his head for no, not wanting to talk.

"Alright, yell for me If you need something."

Mitch left his own room, and headed over to Scott's room to clean that gigantic mess up without vomiting himself. By the time what Mitch gets all the bedding into the washing machine, he yet again hears gagging and coughing coming from Scott.

"M-Mitchy!!"

Scott yells between all the coughing, gagging, and puking.'

"I'll be there in a second, I'm coming!!"

He frowns, as it is horrible to watch Scott be so sick like this. Before he goes to his room to help Mitch grabs a few things for his best friend. He gathers a thermometer, can of sprite, and a few bath towels from the hall closet. When Mitch walks into his room, he sees Scott sitting up on the side of bed with the throw up bowl on his lap.

"Oh, honey. It's alright, you are just fine. You done?"

"Y-Yeah. Wh-Where do I put this?"

"Here, I'll go clean that out in a second. I brought a few things in here, I know you don't feel good at all but I need to check if you are running a fever or not. Open up babe, and keep it in there until it beeps."

Scott does what he is told, and opens his mouth keeping it in there until it beeps. Mitch takes it out quickly, and looks at it.

"100.1 you have a mild fever, Scott."

"Uggggh, I feel like sh*t."

"I know, Babe. I think you might have a stomach bug or something, I'm not positive though. Come on though, lay down, you need lots of rest to feel better."

"I know. You take good care of me, Mitchy. Love you, a lot.

"I love you too, Scotty."

Mitch said while he was about to leave the room, but before he could Scott stopped him. The brunette turned around, and walked back to the bed to see what Scott wanted.

"Wait!!"

"Yeah? What is it?? Does anything hurt?"

"No, I just don't want you to leave me Mitchy. Can you sit in here and talk to me?"

"Scotty, you need to sleep this off. I will sit in here but, I just want you to rest."

"Okay, thank you."

"Always welcome."

Time skip

This continued all day, and throughout the night. Mitch slept on couch but, would always come in his room to help whenever he was needed. It was 5:00 in the morning when Mitch heard the dreaded dry heaving coming from Scott, he was up and off the couch quickly.

"Oh babe, it's okay."

"S-Sorry, did I wake you u-up."

Well.....he did

"No, I was already awake and you are fine. Done, love?"

Scott shakes his head, put's the bowl close to his mouth, and continues to throw up. Mitch wasn't as grossed out about it now though, he'd watched this happen all day so it really didn't effect him at all. Once he is finished, Mitch takes the bowl and cleans it out then goes back into his own bedroom to make sure Scott is getting back to bed.

"You wanna lay down, now?"

"Yeah."

He lays down but, Mitch notices that he is shaking. He doesn't know if it is just because of the not so fun events that just took place or if he was running a fever still.

"Here Scott, I'm going to take your temperature."

"W-Why? I just wanna sleep, Mitchy."

"I know but, you are shaking. Yup, 102.2 that's a fever Scott."

"Ughhh."

"Here, take some Tylenol. You have to sit up, really quick."

He takes the medication, and then lays back down. Mitch went into the bathroom and grabbed a wet washcloth. Putting it on Scott's feverish forehead, making him jump because it was so cold.

"What are you doing, Mitchy?"

"I'm just putting a wet washcloth on your forehead, it will help the fever come down."

"Oh okay."

"Scott, it's 5:00 in the morning try to sleep. Okay?"

"Kay."

Time skip

It was the next morning but, Scott woke up fortunately not because he needed to throw up. He was woken up by the sound of coughing and crying coming from the bathroom, that was weird.

"What the heck?"

Scott said to himself as he got up, was a little bit dizzy but that didn't stop him. He opened the bathroom door, not expecting Mitch to be vomiting in the toilet at all.

"Oh my god, Mitchy. I'm sorry, I gave it to you."

Mitch moves his head to look at Scott, and his vision was burry but he spoke in-between vomiting chunks of his dinner up.

"N-No, I-It's fine. J-J-Just go to bed, and rest."

Scott was shocked still

"I'm fine now, Mitchy. I'll stay in here, to help."

"T-T-Thanks."

Scott wasn't feeling completely better but, he was still doing alright. Just like Mitch had done when he was sick, Scott helped Mitch to his bed. Grabbing medication, a thermometer, puke bowl. Mitch was crying, while holding is stomach and Scott could sympathize with him because his stomach was hurting the same way yesterday.

"What's wrong, Mitchy?"

"T-Tummy hurts."

"Awwee, I'm sorry. Here, let me take your temperature."

"N-No, I can do it myself Scotty."

Mitch said as he tried to grab the thermometer out of Scott's hand, wiping his tears away.

"Hey, no. Babe, you took such care of me yesterday and I'm going to do the same for you."

"R-R-Really?? You really want to?"

"Of course, I want to. That's just what best friends do, you know that. Don't you?"

"I do."
