This week had been horrible for Scott.

He got broken up with by his girlfriend, Callie. They'd been dating only a few months, but it still didn't effect the amount of heartbreak.

He wasn't quite she why she even dumped him, but he knew he would probably never find out.

Scott was in one of his music classes that had just finished, putting his scores in his bag when a boy with the name of Mitch Grassi approached him timidly.

They never truly talked before, but he knew that Mitch was Callie's brothers Bestfriend.

But beside that, he only greeted him a few times in class.

"Uh...um...hi." Mitch greeted. Scott stood up straighter which led Mitch's face to whiten by his height.

Scott tried to avoid giggling at the look on his face. Callie was very confident and outgoing, so someone actually being shy was new...and kinda adorable.

"Hello. Mitch, right?" Scott asked. Mitch nodded hesitantly as he fidgeted with his fingers.

"Uh..y-yeah...I was um, I was wondering if maybe you...would want to get coffee sometime? Unless you like...hate coffee...then...um--"

"Yeah, totally." Scott accepted. He could definitely take his mind of his ex and get coffee with a cute stranger.

Scott liked boys, he's always known that. But when Callie came around, he liked her and not boys.

But when he thought about their relationship, she really wasn't that special. She was just like any average girl, she didn't have a weird quirk of fun personality. Just your average girl.

But, she was so sweet to Scott. They were comfortable together, but not necessarily in love.

"Oh!" Mitch was surprised at Scott's answer as he prepared himself mentally for getting turned down. Scott smiled and nodded.

"Do you want my number?" Scott asked. Mitch's face was still pale and he tapped his foot nervously.

"Uh...um, yes please." Mitch replied, mentally slapping himself in the favs. Scott chuckled and used a piece of his notebook to write his digits down and hand them to Mitch.

Mitch was completely frozen in place when he got handed the number.

"Catch you later?" Scott asked, pushing his bag strap over his shoulder and taking his water bottle.

Mitch nodded as Scott walked away. He let out a long breath he didn't know he was holding in.

The only thing in his head was:
"omgomgomgomfomfomgomgonsieieidhsieiejdixifirnwidjfbrei."
