Today is going to be an extremely special day in the Grassi-Hoying family!

Today, Scott and Mitch are going to tell Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel that Mitch is pregnant again with Grassi-Hoying baby #8!

Joel won't be the youngest Grassi-Hoying in a matter of sevenish months, which is exciting snd also nerve wracking at the same time!

Scott, Joel and Mitch are in their bedroom together while the rest of the kids are all around the house playing!

"Scotty?" Mitch says softly to Scott.

"Yes, baby?" Scott says to Mitch as he walks over to him.

"Are you ready for this? I am really really nervous right now." Mitch says softly to Scott.

Scott smiles at his husband and tenderly kisses his head, making Mitch smile ear to ear.

"As ready as I can be, baby. I am fairly sure we have nothing to worry about though. Huddy, Soph, Issy, Sawyer and Amelia will be thrilled! Liam freaked out a little with Joel, but I think that he might be okay this time. Every baby is a blessing." Scott says to Mitch reassuringly making Mitch smile a little.

"I really hope so. I have a feeling he will be very pissed off at us." Mitch says with a sigh.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he sits on the floor happily at Scott and Mitch.

"Hi, baby! Hi! Are you excited to be a big brother soon?" Mitch asks Joel in a babyfied voice as he picks him up and kisses his cheeks softly.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says to Mitch as he plays with Mitch's hair, making Mitch giggle.

Scott and Mitch both smile at Joel happily.

"I am sure there will be some tension, but he will love his sibling unconditionally no matter what." Scott says to Mitch about Liam.

Scott then smiles at Mitch and then at Joel.

"Hi, baby boy." Scott says in a babyfied voice at Joel.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he giggles and smiles up at Scott.

"You need a hair cut, Joelly bean! Your hair is getting long." Mitch says as he plays with Joel's hair.

Scott smiles at the two and rubs Mitch's back supportively.

"Are you ready, Love? Sooner is better than later. The longer we wait, the more your anxiety is going to eat you up inside." Scott says to Mitch softly.

"Yes, I am ready, babe. Let's do this thing." Mitch says to Scott as he kisses him.

"Alright, I'll go gather up the kiddos." Scott says as he softly kisses Mitch's forehead, before leaving the master bedroom and heading downstairs to the kids' playroom.

First, Scott went to get Isabella, Sophia, Amelia and Sawyer who are all in the kids' playroom together!

Sophia, Isabella and Amelia are all having a tea party together while Sawyer is happily playing with his trucks. Scott smiles as he watches all of them play.

"Hey, kiddos. Can you go find Daddy in the living room for just a minute? You can all come back up here and play." Scott says to Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia. 

Isabella jumps up from where she is sitting on the floor and take's Amelia's hand. Sophia and Sawyer then both get off of the floor together.

"Yes, Papa!" Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Scott with big smiles on their faces.

"Thank you, loves. I'll be downstairs once I get your older brothers." Scott says as he proceeds up the stairs to Hudson and Liam's bedrooms.

Mitch then walks downstairs from the master bedroom with a very happy Joel in his arms. Mitch sits Joel on the floor and Joel begins to play with a dog toy.

"No, Joel! That's yucky." Mitch says to Joel as Joel giggles and smiles.

A few seconds later, Isabella, Sophia, Amelia and Sawyer all run down the steps together and they all find Mitch and Joel in the living room together.

"Hi, Daddy!" Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison to Mitch.

"Hey, babes!" Mitch says happily to Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia, making all four of them smile.

Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia then sit on the floor with Joel and begin to play with him!

Meanwhile upstairs, Scott knocks on Hudson's bedroom door first, although it was cracked open.

"Hey, Huddy. Can you come downstairs with me and Dad for a minute?" Scott asks Hudson who is playing Animal Crossing.

"Sure, Papa!" Hudson says as he smiles at Scott and then happily goes downstairs.

Scott thens walks over to Liam's bedroom and knocks on the door loudly because he can hear Liam playing Call of Duty loudly.

Liam looks at his bedroom door, unsure if he actually heard a knock on his door or not.

"Come in!" Liam says, just to be sure.

Scott then goes into Liam's bedroom when he gets the okay.

"Hey, Dad and I are having a little family meeting downstairs, if you could pause your video game for just a minute?" Scott says to Liam.

Liam looks between his game and Scott once before pausing his game.

"Yeah, sure Pa." Liam says as he hurries past Scott to get the meeting over with so he can keep playing.

Liam and Scott both walk downstairs and they see Mitch sitting on the couch and Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are all sitting on the floor with Joel.

"They are all trying to teach Joel to crawl and Joel is like nahh." Mitch says as he giggles and smiles at Scott and Liam.

*Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel's outfits*

"Ba ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he bangs his hands on the floor and smiles at everyone.

Mitch then looks up at Scott anxiously. Scott smiles back at Mitch, hoping to be some kind of reassurance to his husband.

"Alright, kiddos! Daddy and I have some exciting news for all of you guys." Scott says, putting his hand on Mitch's lower back and rubs small circles into Mitch with his thumb.

"YAY!" Sawyer, Isabella and Amelia all say in unison with big smiles on their faces.

"What is it, Daddy and Papa!" Hudson says with big grin.

"Yeah! What is it?" Sophia asks Mitch and Scott.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he claps his hands and smiles.

Liam sits there, very annoyed and wanting to play his video game.

"Well, another baby will join our family in September. I am having another baby." Mitch says to all of the kids nervously and with a big smile.

"BA BA BA BA BA BA!" Joel yells happily and smiles at Mitch and Scott.

Scott squeezes Mitch's waist gently as he does a small jazz hand with the other making Mitch chuckle and smile. 

Isabella looks over at her little sister Amelia before she screams and jumps up and down excitedly.

"I hope the baby is a giiiiirrl!" Isabella says to Mitch and Scott happily.

Sawyer just smiles at his parents, kind of unsure as to what was happening at the moment.

"Another baby?" Sawyer asks with a big smile at Mitch and Scott and they both nod at him.

"YAY! A BABY!" Amelia says as she giggles and claps her hands.

Liam just stares at his parents, kind of zoning out as his younger siblings get excited.

"That is soooo awesome! Joel is going to be a big brother!" Hudson says as he gets very excited.

"YES! Joel will be the BEST big brother ever!" Sophia says as she hugs Joel.

"We don't know what the baby is just yet, we will know very soon! But we do know that the baby is healthy and that's all that matters to Papa and I." Mitch says to all of the kids and Scott nods in agreement at him.

"Absolutely. Daddy and baby are doing perfect." Scott says to all of the kids.

Isabella and Sawyer had since turned their heads towards Liam, once he hadn't said anything about the baby news.

"What's wrong, Li Li? Aren't you excited about the new baby?" Isabella asks Liam innocently, using a nickname for Liam that she picked up from their parents.

Liam just stares up at his parents, not responding to his younger sister. Liam thens speaks a moment after though.

"Don't you think.." Liam pauses as he huffs and crosses his arms.

"Don't you think that's a bit much?" Liam asked and although it sounded rude Liam was genuinely curious.

"What do you mean by that, Liam?" Mitch asks Liam curiously, wondering what his eldest son meant by his comment.

"I just mean we have so much going on all of the time at our house already. All of our extracurricular activities, school activities, and you two making music and touring all of the time. I get Joel's situation was whatever it was, but another one? Really? That's going to be sooo hard. Especially with Joel being so young." Liam rants, although he wasn't quite upset yet.

Scott shakes his head slowly Liam.

"It doesn't matter, Liam. All of you guys are pretty close in age to the one before and after you. We have done it many times before. We have gone on tour with babies. This is nothing new to us. Why are you worried about that now?" Scott asks Liam curiously.

Liam sighs loudly, standing up from the couch.

"I don't know, I just don't understand why you two keep having more kids. Is seven not enough or are you not busy enough?" Liam asks both Mitch and Scott.

At this point, Mitch sighs and he begins to get really nervous.

"Liam, sometimes mistakes happen and people get pregnant. However babies are a blessing and Papa and I are so grateful to have all of you. Carrier men have trouble getting pregnant so for me to have seven healthy pregnancies and now an eighth one is truly amazing." Mitch explains to Liam.

Liam huffs loudly at both Mitch and Scott.

"Accidents are fucking preventable." Liam spits out with an attitude and his anger is rising up.

Scott furrows his eyebrows and stands up as well, causing Mitch to get nervous and scared.

"Liam. That is enough. We went through this the last time. It is not okay to talk like that to us or in front of your younger siblings for that matter. Please, have some respect for them. Go upstairs until you can control yourself." Scott says sternly to Liam.

Liam looks around at his younger siblings, already feeling guilty for what he had said in front of them.

Liam turns with a sigh and heads up the stairs and shuts his bedroom door with force.

Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all look around in disbelief while Joel babbles happily.

"Is having another baby bad, Daddy?" Sophia asks Mitch and Scott.

"Yeah! Are you going to be okay, Daddy?" Hudson asks with worry.

"Yes, I will be fine! The doctor is taking very good care of me and the new baby! Everything is fine, don't worry about anything." Mitch says to Hudson and Sophia.

"I am excited for the new baby!" Isabella says with a big grin.

"ME TOO!" Sawyer and Amelia both say in unison happily to Mitch and Scott.

"I am sooooo excited!" Hudson says as he claps his hands happily.

Scott pats both Isabella and Sawyer's heads as he sits beside Mitch again with a sigh.

"Liam is definitely becoming a teenager." Scott says with a light chuckle at Mitch.

"Yeah, definitely." Mitch says to Scott.

"Is Li Li okay too, Papa?" Isabella asks Scott.

"Liam will be okay, baby girl. He loves the new baby just as much as everyone else does. Liam is just a little stressed out right now." Scott explains the situation as softly as he can to the younger kids.

"Aww okay!" Isabella says with a big smile at Scott.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Joel says as he points at Mitchs small baby bump and smiles.

"Aww! Joel knows about the baby!" Sophia says as Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia and Hudson all awe loudly.

"That is sooo cute!" Hudson says to Joel happily.

"Aw, I guess he does! Are you excited, buddy? Are you excited to be a big brother?" Mitch asks Joel and Joel smiles at him.

Scott smiles at his family and then he presses a kiss to Mitch's cheek.

"Joel is going to be one of the best. He is going to learn from all of you guys." Scott says as he playfully pinches Hudson's cheek and Hudson giggles.

Hudson smiles at Scott and Mitch.

After a few more minutes, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all go back to what they were doing before the family meeting and Joel hangs out with Scott and Mitch.

A few minutes later, Mitch wants to check on Liam and make sure he is doing okay.

"Scott, we should check on Liam. I am really worried about him." Mitch says to Scott softly and Scott nods at Mitch.

"Together?" Scott asks Mitch.

"Yeah. I don't wanna go in there alone. I don't wanna have a big argument. You know how Liam can be sometimes." Mitch says to Scott.

"Of course, love." Scott says standing from the couch and holding out a hand for Mitch.

Mitch holds Scott's hand and holds Joel with his other arm.

"Ba ba ba!" Joel says as he plays with Mitch's hair.

"Ouch, Joelly." Mitch says at Joel in an annoyed tone.

Scott laughs at both Joel and Mitch and smiles at them.

"Do you want me to take him, love?" Scott asks Mitch before the two ascend up the stairs.

"Yeah, he loves my long hair. The mullet might have to go." Mitch says as he giggles and Scott smiles.

"The fans will freak. The end of an era, or so they say." Scott says as he laughs and takes Joel from Mitch's arms.

"Hey, buddy." Scott says, kissing Joel's head as he begins walking up the stairs to Liam's bedroom.

Mitch follows Scott up the steps and begins to get out of breath due to the pregnancy.

"Jeez I'm not even that pregnant and I'm out of breath already." Mitch says as he chuckles and Scott also chuckles.

"Take your time, love." Scott says to Mitch.

Mitch finally makes it up the steps and smiles at Scott.

"Ready to do this, baby?" Scott asks as he walks across the floor and hovers his hand over Liam's bedroom door, in a knocking position.

"I'm ready. I just hope he doesn't get mad at us some more. I hate when the kids are upset with us." Mitch says to Scott.

Scott nods at Mitch and knocks on Liam's bedroom door. There is no response at first, so Scott cracks the bedroom door open a little.

"Liam? Can Dad and I come in?" Scott asks Liam. 

"I guess.." Liam says from the inside of his bedroom with annoyance.

Scott walks inside and allows Mitch to walk in behind him before he shut the door until it was only cracked open.

"Hey Liam. Can Papa and I talk with you?" Mitch asks Liam softly.

Liam sits up from underneath his comforter.

"Yeah, sure.." Liam says to Mitch and Scott.

Scott pulls a chair over for Mitch to sit on while he sits on the edge of Liam's bed.

"What happened down there today, Li?" Scott asked Liam softly.

"Well I-" Liam starts off defensively before stopping and sighing.

"I don't know.." Liam says as he sighs.

"Liam, I know this is a surprise and a huge shock. Trust me, Papa and I were very shocked as well. This wasn't planned at all. Not even one bit. Papa had a procedure done so this wouldn't happen again and well, it didn't work. Papa and I don't want you upset about this." Mitch says to Liam as he holds Liam's hand.

Liam looks down as he tries to compose himself, but when he looks up he couldn't help look heart broken.

Scott sees Liam's face and scooted closer to Liam to put his arm around his sons shoulders.

"Oh, Liam. You are hurting my heart. Tell us what's wrong." Scott says to Liam.

Liam leans into Scott's embrace as he holds Mitch's hand.

"I..I don't think I know how to be an older brother to this many babies.." Liam explains to Scott and Mitch.

"Liam, it is going to be okay. You are the best big brother to Huddy, Soph, Issy, Sawyer, Amelia and Joel. They all love you very much. You shouldn't put so much pressure on yourself." Mitch says to Liam as he hugs him tightly.

Liam hugs Mitch back tightly.

"I just.. I am already so much older than Joel. I don't want to make anyone feel.. I dunno..left out, I guess?" Liam says to Mitch and Scott.

"I know. Auntie Jessa and I have a big age gap. Even Auntie Lindsay snd Auntie Lauren are much older then Papa. But you being older is a good thing. You can teach Joel, this baby and your other siblings what to do and what not to do. You are such an amazing helper and they all love you very much." Mitch says to Liam.

"Dad and I are very close with our sisters despite the big age gap. So you, Liam and this baby can still bond very well. You already have a great bond with Huddy, Soph, Issy, Sawyer and Amelia." Scott says to Liam as he rubs Liam's back.

"Okay, you are right and I am so sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to let my emotions get the best of me. " Liam says bashfully to Mitch and Scott as Scott smiles at Liam.

"It is alright, Liam. But try to refrain from that next time and just talk to us." Scott says as Liam nods.

"Right, of course." Liam says to Scott and Mitch.

"It's okay, bud. I know your anxiety can take over you when you are really anxious about something. I truly understand that. Huddy, Soph, Issy, Sawyer and Amelia all thought you didn't want the new baby in our family." Mitch says to Liam as he kisses Liam's hand.

"Oh no no. I'll take everything sibling I get from now on. Cause, they are blessings, right?" Liam says to Scott and Mitch.

Scott smiles as he and Mitch both nod at him.

"That is exactly right, kiddo." Scott says and he stands from Liam's bed. 

"I am glad you opened up to us, Li. It is very admirable. We will leave you be now. We all love you so much." Scott says to Liam.

"We love you, bud! But make sure to not say anything to Nana, Grampy, Poppy or Mom Mom. We are going to announce the pregnancy when we visit them next month." Mitch says to Liam as he kisses Liam's cheek which Liam hates.

"And don't worry, this will be the last sibling you will get. Papa and I are getting some permanent measures to make sure of it." Mitch says and Liam giggles at him.

Liam rubs his face. One, because he was embarrassed and two, because Mitch had kissed him.

"I am taking you up on that, Dad." Liam says to Mitch.

"Trust me. All of my baby making parts will be removed when the baby is born and Papa is getting snipped again." Mitch says as Liam laughs loudly and happily.

Scott smiles widely at Liam's laugh and he was glad that Liam wasn't sad anymore.

"I an glad you're feeling better, Li. I can't stand it when you kids are sad." Scott says to Liam.

"I hate seeing you sad, Liam. I worry about you a lot. Just know that you can talk to Papa and I whenever. Okay?" Mitch says to Liam.

"I know." Liam says to Mitch and Scott with a grin.

Joel holds onto Liam's XBOX controller and giggles.

"Looks like Joel might be a gamer like you are." Mitch says as he takes the controller away from Joel and picks him up, causing Joel to fuss a little.

"He can play with this control, I have another one." Liam says as he turns on his other XBOX controller.

"Are you sure?" Scott asks Joel.

"Yeah, that controller hasn't been working the best, so Joel can have it as a toy.

"Aww you are the sweetest." Scott says as he hugs Liam.

"You sure are! Well, we will leave you game for a while! Dinner will be done in about an hour!" Mitch says to Liam.

"Okay!" Liam says with a big smile as he begins to happily game again.

The whole entire Grassi-Hoying family is very excited about the new baby! :)
