Today is orthodontist surgery day for Liam!

Today, Liam is going to get all four of his wisdom teeth removed, something that doesn't usually happen until someone it eighteen years or older.

However with Liam, his wisdom teeth started to break through his gums when he was fourteen years old and this has caused him a lot of pain ever since, so the orthodontist said it is time for Liam to get all four of his wisdom teeth out.

This will be Liam's first ever surgery, which has caused Mitch to be overly nervous and protective of Liam.

Liam is Mitch and Scott's first born child so this is the first time this surgery will happen to the Grassi-Hoying kids, with the other kids probably following suit in years to come!

Liam has had a few broken bones and sprains in his life due to being an active boy in many sports, but he never needed surgery.

Liam isn't nervous about the surgery however he is nervous about the pain that is after surgery and once the numbing wears off.

Right now, Liam and Mitch are in the car heading to the orthodontist office! Scott is home with Joel, Gabriella and the pets while Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are at school for the day.

Luckily, all of Liam's teachers gave him all of his school work to have when he is home recovering, so he won't be behind when he comes back to school in a week or two.

*Liam's outfit*

"I am starvinggggg." Liam groans as he texts Willow on his iPhone.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry you can't eat anything but that's what happens when you have surgery." Mitch says to Liam and Liam groans some more.

"When I had Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel and Gabriella, I couldn't eat anything before the c-sections." Mitch explains to Liam as he continues to drive to the orthodontist's office.

"You can't have anything when you have a baby, right?" Liam asks Mitch curiously.

"They don't want you to, no. But if you go into labor randomly, they usually eat before or right before you go to the hospital. But with you and Hudson I did eat because I thought I wouldn't need c-sections. But it didn't work out that way and I was fine." Mitch says to Liam.

"Can I eat after my surgery?" Liam asks and Mitch shrugs his shoulders.

"You might not want to. And you can't have much. Mostly soft things, like ice cream and yogurt." Mitch says as Liam groans again.

"I really really wanted a Chick Fil A sandwich and fries." Liam says with a sigh.

"Aw, I'm sorry. You won't be eating that for at least a week." Mitch says to Liam and Liam frowns.

"This really freaking sucks." Liam says as he continues to text Willow.

"Wisdom teeth surgery does suck. At least you will have it done now and not have to worry about it later. Papa and I were both older when we got out wisdom teeth taken out and it sucked." Mitch says to Liam and Liam nods.

After a twenty minute drive, Liam and Mitch have made it to the orthodontist office!

Once in the office, Mitch signs Liam in and a few minutes later, Liam gets called back for his surgery.

Liam hugs Mitch tightly and Mitch kisses his cheek, comforting him.

"You are going to be just fine, don't worry about anything. I'll see you when you wake up." Mitch says to Liam and Liam nods.

The dental assistant and Liam go back into the operating room and Liam gets his four wisdom teeth removed.

- An Hour Later -
Liam's wisdom teeth surgery was a success and Liam is waking up from the surgery now.

Mitch walks into the operating room to get Liam to take him home and he sees Liam sitting in the dental chair with his face wrapped up and his mouth stuffed with pads to help with possible bleeding.

Liam giggles happily as he wakes up from his wisdom teeth surgery.

"Dad! Hiiii!" Liam yells at Mitch as the dental assistant chuckles and keeps Liam seated.

"Hi, Liam! How are you feeling?" Mitch asks Liam as he holds Liam's hand.

"Awesome! I'm in space! I'm floating around like astwonauts do!" Liam says happily to Mitch.

"Space? Wow! That sounds really really fun!" Mitch says as he and the dental assistant both giggle and smile at Liam.

"His wisdom teeth surgery went very well! Here are his teeth if he wants to see them or have them!" The dental assistant explains to Mitch and Mitch smiles.

"Oh, wow! They are huge! Just like his Papa's were!" Mitch says as he chuckles loudly.

"Woahhhhh! I'm floating right now!" Liam says as he acts like he is flying.

"Try and keep the small pads in his mouth to help catch the blood. We are sending you home with some and ice packs! Liam will also have a pain medicine prescription at the pharmacy." The denial asks take says to Mitch and Mitch nods.

"The bleeding in his mouth should stop by tomorrow. If he had a fever or any other symptoms that are on this paper, take him to the ER immediately. Liam should have soft foods for at least or week or two until the stitches come out of dissolve." The dental assistant says to Mitch and Mitch nods.

"Are you ready to go home, Liam?" Mitch asks Liam as he takes a video of Liam.

"Ya! I'm tired of space!" Liam says, causing Mitch and the dental assistant to laugh.

"Do you need help taking him out to the car?" The dental assistant asks Mitch.

"I think I got it! Thank you so much!" Mitch says as he helps Liam out of the chair and Liam giggles loudly.

"You're welcome! If you have questions or concerns just call the office!" The dental assistant says and Mitch nods.

Mitch holds onto Liam as he takes Liam to the car.

"Oooo! A wocket ship! Are you drwiving it, Daddy?" Liam asks Mitch as Mitch buckles Liam in.

"I am driving it! You can't drive!" Mitch says with a chuckles and Liam giggles too.

"Okay!" Liam says as he giggles loudly.

Mitch makes sure that Liam is buckled in and settled before he leaves the orthodontist office!

"Weeeeeeee!" Liam says, making Mitch giggle some more.

"Are you having fun?" Mitch asks Liam and Liam nods.

"Uh huh! Weeeeeee!" Liam says some more, causing Mitch to laugh.

"I have to get myself, Papa, Joel and Gabriella some food, okay?" Mitch says to Liam and Liam sings out loud, causing Mitch to giggle.

"La la la la laaaaaa! La la la la laaaaa!" Liam continues to sings to himself.

Mitch heads to McDonalds to get lunch for himself, Scott, Joel and Gabriella to have before heading home!

Mitch and Liam have both made it home from Liam's wisdom teeth surgery!

When they came home they were happily greeted by Scott, Joel, Gabriella and all of the family pets Wyatt, Winter, Snow, Daisy, Delilah, Nino, Olivier, Lucy, Luther, Ollie, Dahlia, Tux and Bubba.

Liam is currently sitting on the couch watching a movie while Mitch, Scott, Joel and Gabriella are having their lunch.

"Daddy! Daddy!" Liam says calling for Mitch and Scott giggles at Liam calling Mitch Daddy.

"Yeah, Liam? What's wrong?" Mitch asks Liam as he walks over to the living room.

"I'm firsty!" Liam says as he dances a little, still loopy from sedation.

"Your thirsty?" Mitch asks Liam, making sure he knows what Liam is saying.

"Ya!" Liam says to Mitch and Mitch smiles ear to ear.

"Here is some water for you. You can't use a straw so be careful!" Mitch says, holding the water bottle for Liam while he takes a few sips.

"Cuddle!" Liam says as he giggles at Mitch and Mitch smiles Liam.

"Of course we can! You need to take a nap." Mitch says as he begins to rub Liam's head.

Just then, Scott, Joel and Gabriella all walk into the living room to check on Mitch and Liam.

"Hiiiii!" Joel says, waving at Mitch and Liam who are now cuddling on the couch.

"Ba ba baaaa!" Gabriella says as she claps her hands happily.

"Hi, Liam! How are you feeling?" Scott asks Liam and Liam moans a little.

"Tired." Liam says as he tries to yawn but it hurts.

"Aw, I bet! Your wisdom teeth are huge! No wonder they hurt! You will feel better in a few days." Scott says, rubbing

"Feel better!" Joel says to Liam, rubbing Liam's head softly.

"Ya! Feel better!" Gabriella says, copying Joel and rubbing Liam's head.

"You two are very very sweet. Thank you so much for being sweet with Liam. Why don't you two go play with Papa for a little bit okay?" Mitch says to Joel and Gabriella and both toddlers nod, happily running over to the playroom.

For the rest of the day, Mitch and Scott take turns taking care of Liam, making sure he eats and takes his medicine!

After two weeks of recovering at home, Liam is back to his normal self! :)
