- amount of synchronicity I've been experiencing as of late has been magical, comforting, cinematic, and just... really really energizing. not sure if l've just been more present or if the universe is saying "hey king you're crushin it keep going" (or both!).

I can ✨officially✨ announce my debut EP - Parallel - comes out next month! It's so hard to put into words how significant this moment feels. Creating it was so much more than just writing songs. It was a thrilling, life-changing, transformative journey:

About 2 years ago, I started messing around in protools seeing if I could learn a few things about music production. Ummm...I became hyperfixated & obsessed VERY quickly. To be able to flesh out any idea instantly w/ every tool you could possibly need whenever you want...was SO empowering to me. So I kept writing & writing & producing & producing...non stop. Every night. No goal in mind. Hundreds of songs/ideas. It's been so therapeutic. I can feel my brain, skills, creativity, confidence reaching new heights & I feel like I'm vibrating at this new frequency I didn't know existed. We love to SEE it. Now it feels as calming as a familiar video game-or as addicting as binging a tv show..yet it allows me to be more productive and creative than I've ever been?! ICONIC. It feels like an unfair life hack where I can work hard without discipline, escape yet be present; indulge in a vice that is healing-it's giving ✨flow state!!!! ✨ (Which I now realize is so essential to us as humans?!)

I say all that because it's exactly how this EP came about-from messing around in protools to suddenly experiencing this momentous shift into this new version of myself. Slay!
On top of that, this era of my life is so beautiful and to be able to immortalize it via this EP is truly magical. Basically what I'm saying making art is really dope!! So grateful for all the artists, producers, & friends who've guided and supported me during this process. I'm blown away at the experiences & opportunities that have enriched my life by discovering this obsession. @jontherabbi, @theotheredboyer, @novawav, @thenightgame, @meghantrainor, @danfarber, @tobygadmusic to name a few! I've learned SO MUCH from y'all 😭

And also thank you @mitchgrassi for being my muse and for happily listening to hundreds of songs 🥺🫶🏻

The EP is called Parallel and it comes out 7.28 & to be honest, it's pretty fuckin great!
